Yooo is this still an active thread? Because I need some college friends to rant to about... well, everything to [oops]
I'm not in college anymore but I'll listen <3
Awww you're too sweet sal [blush] And I love your avatar by the way. Really cute and fluffy and it really makes me want to hug it and never let it go [rofl]
aw thank you aimless.wanderer <3 your avatar is very cute too <3 I am wondering what item you are holding in your hand?
The spear and arm guards are from a multi-item called 'Sparring Supplies' from Tesel I think (I just checked my inventory to look for the name >.<)
Oohhh thank you for checking for me <3
No problem! [mrgreen] What's the theme for your avatar, it looks like a stuffed animal that I can buy from a toy store :)
they came out with this new item called beary massacre that lets you put on a bear head, heheh. So I am kind of like the mother or big sister polar bear to the two little polar bear cubs next to me
That's so cute <3 I love it. Even though it's summertime and it's so hot and humid and gross all the damn time
haha that is so true
I might change it to a summery avatar soon |
You should just keep the avatar as a bitter reminder of all the coldness that all of us would inevitably need right now during the summertime :(
hahaha I guess that works too
*drops in*
Did I hear something about hot weather? *hisses* |

I hate the heat. I'm pretty sure I got every ancestry that doesn't do well in the heat. I'm a wuss with hot weather
I'm a wuss in hot weather too. One of my friends was like, "Oh, but you're Indian. Your ancestors practically LIVED in hot weather!"
Yes. That would work if I was raised in a tropical country and even if I was brought up in a tropical country wouldn't always mean that I would LOVE the hot weather. Aren't you more likely to die of a heat stroke than pneumonia anyways? >.> |
I'm not sure about the heat stroke vs. pneumonia tbh. But upbringing does have something to do with the whole hot-weather tolerance thing.
I seem to have wound up born in one of those areas that gets super cold in the winter, and then equally hot in the summer. No fun. |
I ask because our core temp is around 98.6 F, right? And water has a high specific heat, which means that the water inside our bodies is already pretty warm anyways. So it doesn't take a whole lot of energy or time to heat up water that already that hot to a hotter temperature than cool it down to a cold temperature like 91 F.
IDK. Science makes my brain hurt when I'm not using it for anything productive [gonk] |
Same though. Yet I'm such a science nerd.... >_>;;
Side note: every time I think of science I can't help but remember the kid in high school chemistry who blew up a toilet. Teacher was not happy. Neither was the school. |
