"You know, I could make you stay like that if you wanted to that is kit," the Kyuubi said in a serious tone. He wasn't teasing Naruto when he said that either.

"Not in the past..."Yugito muttered softly.

Kyuubi mentally nodded, knowing that Yugito came first to Naruto.

"It was a long time ago, but somebody made me a promise that they didn't keep," was all that Yugito said.

"Even me. And you don't have to keep apologizing." Naruto replied, turning on the television and flipping through the channels. "Let me know if you see something you want to watch."

"I know I'm stating the obvious here, but it's hot." Gemini commented as they walked. She wondered where their house was, and if it was even big enough for her to stay there.

"Alright, I'll try, but no promises," she replied as he flipped through the channels. Finally seeing an anime that had her interest, she told him to stop. A girl that had a gun for an arm was killing monsters. (Anime is Nobunagun fyi)

"You're not going to melt Gemini," Kankuro stated with a light smirk as they stopped in front of a three story mansion.

Naruto stopped when she said, and sat watching the girl on T.V. fighting. He had never seen the kind of weapon she was using before. (There's no guns in the Naru-verse.)

"No, but your makeup will." Gemini retorted. She lost all thought, however, when she saw where they stopped. "Holy jumping moon goddess..."

Yugito watched the anime with Naruto, having to admit that it was interesting to see the girl use her weapon the way it did, wondering if there was some way to replicate it either with kunai or shuriken.

"How original, like I haven't heard that one before," Kankuro deadpanned, chuckling when he heard her reaction.

Naruto was busy wondering if he could use some of the girl's moves in real battle. By the time the show was over, he had come to a decision. Kyuubi. He called mentally. If I got ears and a tail...would I be able to hide them like Gemini-chan does? He asked. He wanted them, but he wanted to be able to hide them, fearing the reactions of the villagers if he appeared more demonic.

Gemini blushed. "S-sorry, I just...I've never seen a house so big. A-are you sure it's okay for me to be here?" She asked, feeling once again like a peasant trespassing in a palace. As if any minute someone would recognize that she didn't belong there and chase her away. "Surely I don't deserve to stay in such a place..." She whispered.

"All kitsune learn that trick at a young age, usually by their parents. If you want the fox ears and tail to be permanent, I can engrave that information as well," the Kyuubi replied. He was gonna have to do some tweaking of Naruto's DNA if he were to accomplish this. "Though I will admit one thing; this will probably hurt, a lot. You still sure you want to do this kit?" he asked, testing Naruto's resolve.

Gaara frowned when he heard Gemini say that about herself. Sure he understood why he said it, and cursed the man that both he and Kurama killed while in Konoha for ingraining this type of thought process. "I'm sure you can stay here Gemini-chan," Gaara replied quickly, not wanting Kankuro to make another stupid remark.

Naruto bit his lip, but gave no other outward sign of his thoughts. Yugito-chan did it...I want to prove that I can handle it, too. That way, we'll be the same. I'll do it. He thought, wondering how his girlfriend would take the news.

Gemini looked up and managed a smile. "O-okay. As long as you're sure, Gaara-san." She said, placing all her trust in him. She knew there was no way he'd let her down.

"Alright then, future Kyuubi. Inform your future mate about it and then head out of the village. The amount of youki you'll be leaking will cause anyone to get the wrong idea," the Kyuubi replied with a tone of respect in his voice. He was actually surprised that his kit would want to do this for Yugito. It was just a shame that he couldn't see Matatabi again, but that was a price he would have to live with.

"I'm sure. You will always be welcomed here Gemini-chan," Gaara replied. He knew that she was trusting him with a lot...and that was something he wouldn't take for granted.

Naruto nodded. Got it. Thanks. He thought. "Yugito-chan, I have to tell you something" He said out loud, hoping she would take the idea well.

Gemini smiled a bit more and followed them into their home. She still felt a little out of place, but her amazement at the sheer size of the place made her forget nearly everything else.

"Foxy-kun?"Yugito asked. She could sense that there was something serious that he was about to tell her.

"Impressive, isn't it Gem-chan?"Temari asked.

Naruto took a deep breath. "I decided to get ears and a tail...like you. Kyuubi says it can be done, but I'll have to go somewhere really remote so that no one notices the youkai." He said.

Gemini opened her mouth, then closed it, then opened it again and nodded. "I've never seen anything so...big. So, um...where's the kitchen?" She asked as her stomach growled. She blushed, embarrassed.

"You would do that...for me?" she asked, completely surprised. Sure she understood why he had to go away from the village, especially since the adults here would probably think it was the Kyuubi trying to get free.

Gaara chuckled lightly as he heard Gemini's stomach growl for food and the blush on her face that made her face match the color of her fur. "I'll show you. Follow me" he said as a replied.

Naruto blushed a little and nodded. "Well, yeah." He answered, not sure what else to say. "Yeah, I would. I will, dattebayo."

Gemini grinned, thankful that he didn't say anything about her slight rudeness, and followed him. "So, does it really get below freezing here at night?" She asked. She was really curious about the village that was to be her new home.

"T-thank you Nya~"Yugito said, not sure as to what else she could say. She was very surprised that he wanted to go through with this. Before he could move, she kissed him lightly on the cheek.

"During the winter months it's worse, but right now it would only get a little below freezing. Most people don't worry about it since they're usually inside at night or asleep," Gaara responded at they entered the kitchen. "Why do you ask?"
