"Alright," Yugito replied, not realizing the smirk he had on his face. Sitting down on the couch, she turned the TV on to a random show and watched while she waited for the food.

"Huh?" Gaara asked for a few seconds as his mind processed just what happened. Gemini had just kissed him, on the lips. Willingly...

Naruto took out what he needed and started cooking. He enjoyed the sound of the t.v. as he went about, and soon breakfast was ready. "All set. Come eat, Kitty-chan!" He said.

Gemini laughed. "My point exactly. Don't you worry about me, I can handle myself." She said, feeling that she had proved her point effectively. If she could incapacitate Gaara, of all people, then she would be just fine.

Yugito heard Naruto's shout from the living room and turned the TV off before heading into the kitchen. "It smells pretty good in here, I can hardly believe you just eat Ramen," she admitted.

Gaara just shook his head lightly at that. "So...what happens if I start getting use to that?" he asked. He was surprised at how easily Gemini was able to stop him quite honestly. Though he didn't mind the kiss...

Naruto shrugged. "Ramen is my favorite, and usually it's just me so I don't bother with anything else. But since you're here, I gotta give you more than just ramen all the time." He said, grinning as he set the plates and silverware out.

Gemini chuckled. "You won't. Just by your reaction now, I can tell it will take longer for you to get used to a simple kiss than it will take to learn control. By the time you're used to that, you'll be totally in control." She said simply.

Yugito apologized for her accusation as she sat down next to him. "Thanks for the food Foxy-kun," she said.

Gaara chuckled. "If you say so"

"It's no problem, really. I hope it's okay." He said, sitting down.

Gemini smirked. "I do say so. Now, let's get some breakfast and then find your sensei."

Yugito took a bite of the eggs and the sasuage, chewing them before swallowing. She had to admit, Naruto was an excellent cook.

"Good idea," Gaara replied before a thought came to him. "So who wants to deal with my brother? Should I or do you want to?" he asked.

Naruto ate quietly, still rather tired from the previous night. He started daydreaming about his bed.

Gemini shrugged. "I don't know. It's hard to tell which of us he's more scared of, but either way he's going to listen. Maybe both of us?" She suggested.

"After we're finished eating, why don't you go to bed? I'll clean up around here for you,"Yugito said and asked, knowing from experience how bad a transformation like that could be. Besides, it was the least she could do.

"Both it is then," Gaara said, almost feeling bad for his older brother...almost.

"Huh? Oh...I don't know." Naruto said, startled out of his reverie by her words. "I guess, if you're really okay with it." He said, breaking off to yawn at the end.

Gemini smiled vaguely as they entered the kitchen. Some part of her mind cheered happily that she had remembered the way. "Okay, so what's for breakfast?" She asked.

"It's the least I could do after you've done so much," Yugito replied before taking another bite of her food.

"I'm not sure. Nee-chan stocked the fridge last time, so it's whatever that's in there. I'm sure we could go out to eat also," he said before hearing footsteps coming down the hall.

Naruto yawned again and stood up. "Thanks, Kitty-chan. I really appreciate it." He said, ready to fall asleep standing there.

Gemini thought for a moment. "I don't have much money, so it's probably better to eat here." She said, going to check what was in the fridge.

"Don't mention it Foxy-kun" Yugito replied as she could see he was about to pass out.

"Alright. Morning nee-chan, nii-kun," Gaara replied as Temari and Kankuro walked into the kitchen.

Without another word, Naruto went to his room and crashed on the bed. He was asleep before he hit the pillow.

From the fridge, Gemini waved. "Good morning Temari-san, Kankuro-san. I'm making waffles!" She said cheerfully.

Yugito was glad to see that Naruto had gotten some sleep and wouldn't dare wake him for anything except for a mission coming from the Hokage himself. Other than that, they'd have to wait. Speaking of waiting...she pulled out one of the scrolls that the Raikage had left in her possession to pass the time.

"You can cook?" Temari asked, surprised.

(seeing "Walking on eggshells" makes me think of the Linkin Park Song "Hit the Floor" lol)

"I'm glad that you think that. I think of you like a younger sister, and I don't want that to get between us" Temari admitted.
