"That answer was a little too quick. But, I'll let it slide this time, because I'm in a good mood." She said, setting out the waffles that were now ready. "Soup's on!"

"Huh?" all three siblings said at the same time, confused by what Gemini just said.

Gemini rolled her eyes. "Come on, guys. Soup's on? It's an expression. It means the food is ready. You've really never heard it before?" She asked. Maybe it was a regional thing. They were from different places, after all. Or, were they confused about her good mood? She shrugged. Either way, she would clear up any confusion.

"We never heard that phrase before," Temari admitted. She had a feeling that her 'younger' sister was wondering about the confusion the three of them had and decided on answering.

Gemini let out a little 'ah' of understanding and nodded. "Well, now you have." She said cheerfully, silently thanking Temari for answering her unasked question.

Temari nodded, glad that she could be of help. "So Gem-chan, how many are we allowed to take?" the wind mistress asked.

"As many as you want. I've made plenty for everyone." Gemini said cheerfully.

"Good idea," Temari said as she noticed Gaara taking three pieces before going to the table where there was already warmed syrup waiting for them to use, among other toppings.

Gemini smiled brightly, seeing that Gaara was the first to take some of her waffles. She wanted him to like her cooking more than anyone else. Taking two waffles for herself, she followed him to the table.

Temari smirked as she saw Gemini waiting for Gaara to say something about her cooking as she took three waffles for herself to start with.
"These are pretty good Gemini-chan" Gaara said after swallowing the bite that he had taken. And he was telling the truth, no syrup or anything else was on the piece that he had eaten. |
Gemini turned slightly pink and smiled almost as wide as Naruto. "Thanks, Gaara-kun." She said. It was a big step to change from -san to -kun, but she figured if they were a couple, she should be a little less formal.

Both siblings noticed the change with the suffix that Gemini used for Gaara and was wondering what it meant. Temari's raised eyebrow made it so that Gemini could see she was curious about what happened to make her make that change/decision.

Gemini saw Temari's raised eyebrow, and smiled at the wind mistress. She knew they were all wondering about her sudden change in suffix. "Gaara-kun, I think maybe we should tell them." She said.

Gaara looked at his two siblings before looking back towards Gemini and nodding. He knew that she would better portray what was going on then he was.

Gemini chuckled, knowing that he was uncomfortable saying the words to his siblings. "Temari-san, Kankuro-san, I have something to tell you. Gaara-kun and I are dating now." She said.

Temari nodded and grinned lightly. "You remember what I told you when I dragged you into the room? That still applies," she said

Gemini nodded. "Of course. I never thought that would change." She said, glad that the other girl wasn't upset.

Temari nodded at that, glad to see that nothing was going to change between them.
Yugito yawned lightly as she made herself comfortable on the couch. It had been two days now and Naruto hadn't woken up yet... (would you like to see the pictures I took at my con?) |

Gemini continued with her breakfast quietly. Naruto shuffled out of his room, yawning. "Hey...how long have I been out?" |

"Two days?! How did I sleep for two days? Ah, well, whatever. So you think it's safe to go back out?" He asked. Gemini blushed slightly at the thanks. It felt good to help someone else out, rather than asking for help. |
"I'm not sure to tell you the truth," Yugito admitted. She was honestly only fifty percent sure that it was safe
"I'm happy for you brother," Kankuro said with a light grin, for once not being perverted about the situation at all. |
Naruto shrugged. "Well, there's only one way to find out. And I can't stay in here forever. The Hokage's funeral is today...I can't miss that." He said.
Gemini smiled. So, he can talk without being stupid. She thought to herself as she finished her waffles. "So guys, can you tell me about this test I have to take to become a citizen?" |
"Understandable. Though I think we should go together. Strength in numbers and all that," tbe neko said, hoping that Naruto would see that would be a good idea as well.
"I try being nice and this is the thanks I get?" Kankuro asked in mock horror. "Anyways, to answer your question: We honestly don't know. Father never let us sit in while the examination was taking place. |
Naruto nodded. "You're right. I'm gonna get dressed, then." He said.
Gemini pouted. "Well, that's no help. I guess I'll just have to tell you all about it when I'm done." |
