Naruto rolled his eyes. "It's been going on like this since we were kids. She acts like my mom." He said.
"Well someone has to keep you in line, or you'd just be a wild boy." Gemini said. |
"Isn't he still a wild child?" Gaara said as he entered his own two cents into the conversation.

Naruto's jaw dropped. "Hey!" He said in protest. He pouted over the fact that his friend had just betrayed him- at least, in his opinion.
Gemini nodded. "True, but it would be worse if I hadn't been there." She said, obviously teasing the blonde now. |
"How much worse?" Yugito asked after a while, curiosity getting the best of her.

"Well for one thing, he never would have been introduced to vegetables. Also, he'd probably have lost his temper a lot more, and dropped out of the academy, and gotten arrested..." She said, counting the points off on her fingers.

Gaara could see Naruto's cheeks getting redder and redder, most likely in embarrassment. "Alright I think that's enough teasing Naruto, especially with his girlfriend in the room" Gaara spoke up.

"Thank you!" Naruto shouted, glad that someone was taking his side.
Gemini smiled. "Alright. Sorry, Naru-kun. Sometimes it's just too easy to tease you." She said. "Yeah, well...try to resist." |
Gaara did smirk at that though. "I didn't say she could stop forever though...and I'm sure she has quite some stories and photos to tell Yugito-san here as well," Gaara said with a smirk. It might have been petty, but he was getting back at the blonde for the way their fight ended.

Gemini smiled widely and chuckled. "Oh, I do, though. More than you even know." She said gleefully.
Naruto's jaw dropped. "Wha- hey! No fair, to set me up and knock me down like that!" He complained. |
Yugito couldn't help but laugh at that. "Alright alright, stop teasing my foxy-kun nya," she said. "Besides, I'm sure he has plenty of stories that he could tell Gaara-kun about concerning you Gem-chan" she said with a grin.

Naruto nodded, grabbing on to this line of thought. "Yeah, I could tell you a lot of stuff about her!" He said.
Gemini smiled. "Okay, go ahead. It would be fair, since I've said so much about you. Besides, I don't want any secrets with Gaa-kun. Anything you can think of, go ahead and tell him." She said. Naruto scowled. "Man, I forgot how shameless you are...still, since you said I could, then I will." He said, sitting up straighter. "I'll start with the first time you saw Iruka-sensei at my place." |
Gaara listened, quite curious as to what Naruto would say about his girlfriend. Even if they were most likely to be embarrassing, then it would still be something entertaining to hear about.
Yugito listened intently, curious as to the history between Gemini and Naruto. It would definitely be interesting, that's for sure. |
Grinning like the cat that ate the canary, Naruto glanced at Gemini and started. 'Well, Gemini-chan had just come to live with me after she got away from her adopted dad. She was still getting used to regular things, and we had both just started at the academy. So, Gemini-chan was used to seeing Iruka-sensei at the academy, but she'd never seen him anywhere else. So Iruka-sensei showed up to check on me, 'cause he used to do that a lot, and as soon as Gem-chan saw him, she wet herself!" He told them, now laughing. "Poor Iruka-sensei didn't know how to react, and Gemini-chan ran to hide under the sink, and it took us an hour and two chocolate bars to get her out!"
Gemini blushed a little, chuckling. "I had forgotten about that one." She said. Seeing Naruto was laughing too hard to explain any further, she did it for him. "See, when I was little, for some reason I thought that teachers lived at the academy. I thought they were some kind of different species or something, and when I saw Iruka-sensei in Naru-kun's house, I thought he'd broken loose and come to get me or something." She was starting to laugh now. "They had to explain to me that sensei's were regular people who lived in houses just like us, and that the academy was just a job for them. I guess back then, I had been so cooped up for so long, I just didn't know how the real world worked. I probably reacted strangely to a lot of regular things." |
Yugito giggled lightly at that. "Even I knew that, back in Kumo," she said with a grin.

Gemini shrugged. "Like I said, my adopted father never let me out of the house. I didn't know how anything worked in the real world." She said. "Naruto-kun, do you have any other stories like that?" She asked.
Naruto looked surprised. "Uh, well..." He scratched the back of his head. "I know there are others, but I can't remember any right now..." He said sheepishly. |
"Aw...and I wanted to hear more stories about the past," Yugito said with a light pout.

"Me too." Gemini said. She didn't remember much from the time right after Naruto had rescued her.
Thinking hard, Naruto finally snapped his fingers. "Oh! I remember one! Although, this one's embarrassing for both of us...but still. Gemini-chan, do you remember the time I convinced you to graffiti the Hokage mountain?" He asked. |
"You actually did that?" Gaara asked, surprised. Seeing the look mirrored on Yugito's face, he had a feeling that the catgirl was just as surprised. The both of them had expected it from Naruto but didn't think Gemini would help in his pranks.

Gemini's eyes went wide. "That's right! About a month after I moved in with Naruto-kun, Konoha had a festival celebrating the anniversary of the Kyuubi's defeat. Well, Naruto-kun convinced me that it was our job to paint the mountain. He said the Hokage faces had to be painted with bright colors and funny pictures to decorate them, just like the whole village put up decorations for the festival. Of course, I made the mistake of believing him. We went up there with all the colors of the rainbow, and painted all over the mountain. I did pretty colors, and Naruto-kun did rude pictures." She said, blushing in embarrassment.
Naruto was laughing. "You were way too gullible back then! Remember how you even painted extra on the Third's statue? You said you wanted to honor him special, because he'd been so nice to you. So you painted a nosebleed on him, and google eyes and all kinds of other things!" He laughed even harder. "We got in so much trouble, but it was so worth it!" |
"I really should have given you a mouthful back then, coercing my daughter into doing something like that" Kurama stated from within.

"You thought it was funny at the time. Probably didn't realize who Gemini-chan was yet." Naruto retorted, realizing a moment too late that he had spoken out loud. "Uh...the fox." He explained to the room.
Gemini nodded. "I figured as much. I'm used to you talking to yourself- and Gaa-kun does it all the time, too." She said. |
"I've done that as well, especially when the perverted cat sends me images," Yugito said before realizing what she said and blushed lightly

Naruto stared at her, wide-eyed. "Images? Do I even want to know?" He asked.
Gemini chuckled, feeling a little sorry for Yugito. "I guess I'm the odd one out again. I'm an outsider even among outsiders." She said, referring to the fact that she was the only one who didn't share a mind or hear voices. She brought it up only to draw attention from Yugito's accidental admission. |
Yugito's face went from it's normal hue to becoming very crimson in the short span of a second after hearing Naruto ask that question. "N-no, no you don't," she admitted with a light stutter. Besides, anything that Mata-chan showed was way too soon for where they were at in their relationship.
"That isn't necessary a bad thing though. You don't have to hear a raccoon telling you to kill anything and everything, whatever the hellcat is saying to Yugito-san or your father telling you what you can or cannot do," Gaara responded. |
Naruto shrugged. Judging by the color of Yugito's face, he was okay with not knowing. "Okay, then. And yeah, Gemini-chan, he's right. I'm kinda jealous of you, to tell the truth. You get all the strength of a demon host, without a demon invading your thoughts. I wish I could have my mind to myself every once in a while." He said.
Gemini blinked. She hadn't thought of it that way. "Yeah...I guess you're right. Sorry, I didn't mean to complain or be insensitive." She said, realizing that complaining about not having something that they hated having was probably a jerky thing to do. |
