"I promise I won't," Yugito said before Naruto left. And while she had her tails to cover her privates, she still didn't want Naruto to see her naked...yet. Once he left, she went to the bathroom and quickly turned on the shower before getting inside once it heated up.

"As long as you are willing to try, and give me your all, then I will be as patient as possible while teaching you Matsuri-chan," he replied before placing a hand lightly on her shoulder. "As my first friend would say: 'I made a promise and I don't plan to go back on it,' which is actually his Nindo"

Naruto waited as patiently as he could, being Naruto.

"Your first friend?" Matsuri questioned hesitantly. That made it sound like he didn't have many.

"Uzumaki Naruto, my brother. Well, adopted brother." Gemini said. "He's the reason Gaa-kun and I met."

Yugito got out of the shower and dried herself off before putting on a random pair of clothes and made sure that her tail was free of the fabric. She still remembered the first time her tail got caught down her pants leg...it was not a fun experience.

"I still remember that too Kitten..."

'Ugh...Mata-chan, it's too early for that. Besides, I thought you would stop teasing me after I started dating Foxy-kun.' she thought back before heading out into the kitchen, wondering what Naruto had made for breakfast.

Gaara nodded at that and let out a light smile. It was because of the Chunin Exams in the first place that he had met Gemini in the first place after all.

Upon entering the kitchen, Yugito would be greeted with an assortment of delicious smells. On the table were a colorful array of foods: pancakes shaped like fish, scrambled eggs, french toast shaped like kitty and fox faces, assorted fresh fruits, traditional grilled fish and rice, and coffee, juice and milk to drink. He had even made a cappuccino with a foam-drawing of their faces together inside a heart. Amidst it all was a proudly grinning Naruto. "Do you like it?" He asked.

Seeing Gaara smile, Matsuri blushed a light shade of pink. His smile was adorable! "Oh, that's nice." She said, not really sure what else to say.

Gemini didn't like the blush that momentarily crossed the other girl's face, but she shook it off, determined to friends with her. "Well, we've stood around talking long enough, right? We'd better start training or all the others will be way ahead of us!"

((Wolfie wasn't sure what to do about the breakfast part, but then she realized that with Naruto, it had to be over-the-top and slightly childlike, hence the fish theme.))

Yugito was flabbergasted. "Wow," Yugito said, unsure as to how to respond to all of this that Naruto had made for the both of them. "This is...wow," she said, still trying to think of something to say but left speechless.

Gaara looked confused as to why Matsuri was blushing for a little bit but paid it little heed since it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. Hearing his girlfriend, he nodded. "Good point" he said before creating a clone out of his sand. "I think that I can take both of you one-on-one when it comes to training you two. Matsuri-chan, my clone will see where you are at."

Naruto's grin widened. "Come on in, sit down! Dig in, there's plenty for both of us." He said.

Matsuri nodded and took out her weapon, getting ready to fight. She was very nervous, though.

Gemini turned to face the real Gaara and nodded. "Swords first?" She asked, seeing that the others were all training with their weapons.

Yugito laughed lightly at that before doing so. "Don't you think this is a bit too much Foxy-kun?" Yugito asked. She wasn't ungrateful for it or anything, but it was a lot for just the two of them after all...

Gaara's clone noticed that Matsuri was holding her weapon loosely and saw that it was shaking within her hand. "Matsuri-chan, your weapon isn't going to hurt you if you trust in it. Hold it firmly please," he said in a gentle, yet authoritative, voice.

"Swords sound like a good idea Gem-chan" he said with a smirk, though noticed through the link of his clone that Matsuri was very nervous about all of this. 'Why is she blushing?' he asked himself before creating his two swords like how Shirou trained him in.

Naruto scratched the back of his head, smiling sheepishly. "Yeah, I kinda got carried away. But we can save whatever we don't eat."

Matsuri nodded, gripping her weapon firmly. "H-hai...I'll do my best." She said, coming at him with the weapon. She was using it entirely wrong.

Gemini pulled her trusty katana and squared off against Gaara. Before she charged, however, she sighed. "Maybe you should spend more time teaching Matsuri-chan before we continue. Otherwise you'll be distracted. Besides, it would be better if she and I are on the same level as students." She suggested.

Yugito raised an eyebrow at Naruto's statement. "Kind of?" she asked, before taking a little bit of food before taking a seat. Taking a bite of the fish, her eyes widened in surprise as to how well it tasted.

Gaara looked at his clone and Matsuri before seeing what his girlfriend meant. It also seemed like she was afraid of hurting him for some reason. Not sure as to why that was, he decided the best course of action would be to ask another girl, in this case Gemini. "Gem-chan...do you have an idea as to why she's walking on eggshells around me?"

Naruto sat down as well, but didn't eat until Yugito had taken a bite. "So, is it good?" He asked eagerly.

Gemini raised an eyebrow. "Gaa-kun, I hate to break it to you but...you're not the most approachable person. Still, that doesn't seem right..." She thought for a moment. "She seems like the type who had some trauma in her past. She looks afraid of the weapon, almost. You should ask her...unless you want me to?"

"Just as good when Samui-nee would make it," Yugito replied, now silently wondering how her surrogate sister was doing...

"No...you're right. I have been getting better, but most people don't want to get to know me because of the Shukaku and of my past actions. But I think it would be a good idea for me to try and help her with whatever it is that is holding her back..." Gaara replied. She chose him as a teacher for a reason after all.

"I'm glad. But who's Samui?" He asked, curious to learn more about his girlfriend.

Gemini patted his arm. "But you are getting better. Everyone has seen it. That's why you're part of this program. They trust you enough now to let you teach their children." She said, trying to encourage him before he went to talk to Matsuri.

Matsuri sighed, dropping her weapon as she failed yet again to use it properly.

"Samui-nee is my sister in all but blood. She was my first friend...and the first person who I told that I was a jinchuuriki. She didn't even think before hugging me," Yugito admitted. She honestly did miss her surrogate sister, and sort of wondered what Samui would think about her being a neko now.

"Thanks Gem-chan" Gaara said before letting go of the construct, the sword turning back into his personal sand collection and going back into his gourd. Once that was done, he headed over to Matsuri.

Naruto's gaze softened. "Kind of like Gemini-chan was for me. I'm glad you had someone like that around." He said. He was truly happy that she hadn't been totally alone.

Matsuri looked up to see Gaara approaching. "Oh...hello, Gaara-sensei." She said, turning a little pink at the thought that he had seen her failing.

"I'm kinda curious how she's doing nowadays..."Yugito admitted after she finished her breakfast. There was still a lot more on the table, but as Naruto said earlier, they could put it away for later.

"Hello Matsuri-chan," he said as he noticed her blushing just a little but put that to the side...for now. "What seems to be the problem?" he asked, having a feeling that he could help in some way.

Naruto swallowed a huge bite. "Well, why don't we take a visit sometime? I'm sure old lady Tsunade will be okay with it." He suggested.

Matsuri glanced down at the weapon in her hand. "I just can't seem to get it right. I..." She shook her head. She was afraid of it, afraid of all weapons, but she didn't want to admit it.

"Are you sure she'll let us?" Yugito asked, surprised. She hadn't thought that Tsunade would let them go to Kumogakure just to visit her sister figure.

'You know kitten...if you really think of her as your sister...you could make her a nekomata like yourself' Matatabi spoke up, surprising the blonde female.

Gaara saw the fear in her eyes as well as hesitation, same things that he saw in himself when he was younger. "I see...Matsuri-chan, why do you fear the very weapon that will protect you and countless others?" he asked.

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, sure! After all the work you've done to restore the village, and your training, Granny will be happy to let you have some time off. And she can't say no to me coming along as backup just in case." He said.

Matsuri looked down in shame that he had guessed her problem. "When I was a child, I saw my parents killed before my very eyes with weapons. Ever since then, I've been afraid of the weapons that killed my parents." She explained.

"I guess it couldn't hurt to try..." she admitted.

"Do you think you can tell me about it? Whatever you remember?" he asked softly.

"That's the spirit!" Naruto said with a huge grin. He stood up and started cleaning up his dishes, putting away whatever wasn't being eaten right then.

Matsuri took a deep breath to steady herself, then told him everything she remembered. By the time she was done, she was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane.

Yugito laughed lightly at that before she finished what she was eating. After that, she helped Naruto clean up.

Gaara listened and didn't say anything as Matsuri told the story about how her parents were murdered. After she had finished, he stayed quiet for a few seconds as he thought of what to say to help. 'hm...what would Naruto-san say here?' he thought to himself.

With both of them working, cleanup took less than ten minutes. Once that was done, Naruto yawned. "I'm gonna take a shower before we head out. I've been cooking since dawn, and I'm all sweaty." He said, heading for the bathroom.

Matsuri finished her story and waited, feeling raw after talking about that experience. She didn't know what he would say.

Yugito nodded before letting him leave the kitchen and freshen up. While he was doing that, she was going to converse with her tenant, especially since she was curious about what Matanabi meant by making Samui her actual sister.

"Your parents protected you by making the ultimate sacrifice. And I'm sure that if they could tell you this themselves, they would. You are following in their footsteps and I'm sure they would be proud of you." Gaara stated.

Matsuri wasn't sure what she'd expected, but it certainly wasn't this. He sounded so...normal. "I've been told similar things before, but I still have trouble. How can I use a weapon when that's what took my parents from me? How can I use something that only hurts people?" She asked.

Gemini, having passed by to get a drink of water, heard this last question. "I'm sorry to interrupt but...Matsuri-chan, weapons aren't only for hurting people. We endure using weapons, even knowing that it may hurt someone, in order to protect those we care for. We use weapons to protect people." She said.
