Heart Of The Ocean
 

Nami Umi was swimming under the surface ocean waters. her blue bright blue hair was lose a star fish in her hair,on the side to the right. her blue green eyes stayed open as she watch humans swim for half of the day. she dislike being a princess of Atlantis but the girl had no other siblings. being a only child having to take lesson's about ruling the kingdom as well other lesson's. she sometimes fuss with her father about her lesson's.

The princess had taken her mooring class's like all ways. but would run off in the afternoon to find something to do. away form her family's kingdom for six hours,till it would be super time. Nami wish she had a older siblings at times so. they can rule the city even get married off not her.

Nami moved quickly to hide behind a big cluster of coral. she knew the fish would help her find some nice hiding spots. maybe she should have gone to the sunken ship today. humans never could reach it that often unless someone. would guide them to it in those odd things the land dwellers use. her father warned more then once never to let a human see her. not knowing what these creatures can do to there kind.

She all ways try stay away form them a lot staying. mostly in the deep waters of the ocean when a lot there where in the water. the princess did go to lighter waters but with out no one noticing. if the dolphins where around she swim with them to hide under. most dolphins thought it was a fun game to play.

Tye moved through the water, swimming around, and keeping his arms going as he swimming deeper down below into the ocean. He didn't speak, because he couldn't breath under water, then again who could; it was a light color of blue as it was darkening to the sun setting. He knew the sun was down, but, didn't care as he saw something shiny like a smooth metal object or something and he just 'had' to take a look. Tye was all into hunting for new treasures, he didn't always find them, but, man was he a bit obsessed with it. Tye realized the pressure was getting to him, but, he had to find out what- 'a soda can? shit...' Tye thought thinking he was going to die for a stupid reason closing his eyes sinking more and more to the bottom of the ocean as he was unconscious now.

Nami notice that the human male was starting to drown. so she starts to move away form the coral quickly. she knew it was not normal for a merperson to save a human life. yet she tough each race deserves to live there life fully. the mermaid swims fast then starts to grab at the man's hand at first. but notice that would not work she moved to. grab him around the upper waist line to pull him up. she starts to swim even faster knowing he would need air really soon.

By the the time she got him on the beach she did not know. what to do so she started to talk to him. "Please wake up. I don't think it is your time to go yet form this world." she says while keeping her lower body in the water. she'd only gotten him up on to the beach close by the ocean waters. Nami worried he would wake up soon so she would have to leave in a hurry before. his version was still fuzzy so he would not fully see her.

The man laid there upon the sand, his lightly colored hair showing off against the lightly colored damp sand as his eyes were closed. He could feel something warm, yet, cold near him as he wondered where he was. Opening his eyes as he glanced up at the sky trying to get his eyes to focus, he couldn't full focus since the water was salty, and bothering his eyes a bit. "W-who's there?" he asked trying to look only seeing the fuzzy outline of blue looking hair and eyes like emeralds. He closed his eyes again until he heard his name being called "Tye! Brother where are you?" a little girl called out with bleach blonde, shoulder length hair and her eyes the color of the ocean sky. "Tyyyyyye" she called out again not seeing her brother as she looked down the shoreline.

The young mermaid woman swims off quickly after she heard him speak. yet knew she could not stay on land she would get in trouble. so Nami kept swimming till she could no longer hear any human voices. but started swim faster and faster till she stop to sit by a deep patch of sea coral. she wanted to rest a little before heading home to deal with her father.

"Tye! There you are, get up mother is so worried about you" technically Ellie didn't know that their mother (well step mother really) didn't care about either one of them and Elli was too young to understand that. Their father was always working to try and get them everything he could give them. But, all Tye wanted was his step mother gone, and his father to be home with them. "I'm up, I'm up" he coughed a little bit as he took his sisters hand getting up looking back at the ocean "Huh?" he thought to himself, wondering if what or who he had just seen was really real. "Nah no way" he mumbled to himself.

Caspian swam around trying to find Princess Nami "Princess!" he called out finally seeing her as he swam up to her "There you are" he was out of breath trying to find her all day long "Your father will be worried, we should get back" he looked at her with caring eyes, though he was also very worried about her safety. He had no problem going through with this marriage, but, he knew princesses didn't like to be tied down or told what to do.

"Prince Caspian I was just out for a swim. I doubt my father is to worried I all ways. tell a guard are maid before I leave the castle for my daily swim." Princess Nami says in a clam tone of voice moving a it of hair. form trying to fall down in to her face form swiping so fast. yet her eyes did show kindness when speaking to the prince. she really did not like the idea of marriage that much. to bad her father was getting on in age so he could not have more heirs.

"I won't press the issue if that is what you wish" Prince Caspian spoke "You can just call me Caspian, no need for formalities between two friends" he figured that was better than saying lovers, mates, or newlyweds. "Shall we head back for Dinner?" Caspian had seen something amazing today that he wanted to share with her "If you are up to it, I have a surprise for you" Caspian spoke, his eyes showed endearment and he meant no harm to her. Though if she wished not to see it, then there was no point in trying to convince her and make her angry.

Nami listens to what Caspian had to say while she starts. to swim back to the castle so they can have dinner. "Yes lets head back for dinner. I guess I'm up for the surprise but after dinner please." Nami says to Caspian her voice was soft but kind. she was trying to let her body rest a little by swimming slowly. since she had swim back so fast to not let the human see her face. but wonder why some merpeople hate humans for?

Caspian smiled as if he was a child with a new toy "Of course, Princess" then he wondered if he should call her Princess or call her by her name "Which do you prefer to be called, princess or Nami?" Caspian asked not wanting to be rude to her, he wasn't the kind of person to be mean to someone, or be rude unless there was a good reason. Caspian noticed she was lost in thought, however, he didn't say anything to her about it. He wasn't close enough to her to ask if she was alright.

"I like to be called Nami more then princess. yet I know nothing about your kingdom. I'd have wonder what it is like there." the princess ask the prince but smiles softly. she need to keep her mind form wondering about that human man. if her father are anyone finds out about it could lead. to a ton of trouble since she is the sole heir to the Atlantis throne.

(so far this story is catching my interest)

"After dinner I will show you the surprise" he said that way he could show her the surprise he had found that only happens at night under the sea. He swam until they got to the palace "If your father asks about where you have been, we'll just say we went for a swim. I doubt he would object to that." Caspian answered as her father came into view, no matter his age, he still looked quite strong.

Nami see's her father yet had a feeling he mighty ask her. a few questions mostly about the arranged marriage mostly. she really dislike the idea of being married off to Prince Caspian a lot more then she would say. "Okay,oh hello Father I hope you are feeling well." Nami says to her father in a super happy voice but hope not to see her mother just yet. her mother was more strict then her father was with her at times.

(Pain has numbed for a bit, lets see how this works out)

"Nami, where have you been all day? I've been looking all over for you, you don't have too much longer before your coordination" meaning the wedding of course, Caspian swam over with her excusing himself for interrupting "Nami was with me today, we went for a swim to get to know each other more, and explored a bit" Caspian wasn't sure what was the best answer to say while her father looked at both of them to see if it was true then he relaxed a bit "Good, good. Always good to get to understand each other before making a life changing commitment" her father seemed to have a way with words and Caspian wondered kind of life she had in the palace compared his own.

"I don't want to get married Father. we barley know each other can't we post phone the wedding?" she says while rolling her eye's a bit wishing her mother was still around. it could not be help that a shark killed her own mom. when she was carrying a possible second child. that could have been a prince heir to the throne of this kingdom.

"No no, that would be rude to prince Caspian, and your marriage is only three days away, Nami" The king shook his head as Caspian noticed that she truly didn't want this and sightly silently in his mind he gave in "Why not give us two weeks? We can get to know each other more and then have the wedding if both sides are still willing" Caspian suggested, now the king wasn't sure about that, but, maybe his daughter would be more willing to get married if she waited a bit longer to talk more with Prince Caspian. He was contemplating this within his mind as he looked to Nami "Two weeks, that's all I will give you Nami. Then you must get married, do I make myself clear?" he asked, well more like was telling her.

Princess Nami sighs out yet starts to swim off not saying a word to her Father. "Maybe I'll find the sea witch to turn me human. I will never get married to someone I do not Love!" Princess Nami says knowing it would make her old man mad. it was worth it to not get married to someone she. had not even know for a couple of years like most couples. that chose to get married out of love dam royal duty's.

Prince Caspian sighed seeing the king already swam away knowing there wasn't much he could say to his daughter while she was upset. "Nami, wait" Caspian swam over in front of her to stop her, if she didn't stop, he would keep swimming with her, until she would slow down enough to listen. He was a very determined merprince to be around and that's probably why he seemed selfish to others. "I know you don't want to get married, but, at least let me show you what I have found today"

"He'll never listen to reason since my mom got eaten by a shark. but that was five years ago by now." she says to Prince Caspian while moving around him but stop's. once she gets close to a reef that she had last seen her mother at before. the dang shark had taken her away form there kingdom for good. "I'll go see what it is you want to show me. but if I must marry you in two weeks time. I'll make sure to give the maids at my home a ruff time." Nami says while laughing a bit knowing the maids. they would try put her in some type of wedding dress that would be old school.

"Maybe I can talk to him for you, if in two weeks you truly don't want to marry me, then I'll figure something else out to create peace between our two cities" Caspian stated not sure what to do yet really, it was hard to think of another reasoning that wouldn't go wrong, and that both cities along with it's people would agree on. Politics were never his good point, just mostly being around merpeople, even though he hated some to begin with. "Come, I'll show you what I have seen, the sun is setting as a good time, but, close your eyes, alright? You can trust me to lead you there I hope" he stated unsure if she would go along with that or not.

Right now Nami wanted to roll her eye's more then anything. mostly cause both city's would want them to marry. soon then later it was quite normal with royal family's. "If are kingdom's would be smart enough to listen. to a suggestion of some sort but I doubt that highly." Nami says to Caspian yet holds a hand out to him. she would let him lead her by hand only mostly. cause she is not good at swimming with her eye's closed. [COLOR=DeepSkyBlue"]"I'll trust you but only if you hold my hand. I'm horrible at swimming with my eye's closed trying to flow anyone." [/COLOR] she says even her old man could tell the prince. about all the times she got lost are hit something while swimming with her eye's closed.

"We'll see I suppose" he spoke about the two cities in listening and had a few ideas already that faded away as he took her hand easily leading her about to the place "I'm glad you can trust me for something like this, Nami" he kept wanting to call her princess, it just sounded...well more cute to him. However, he wouldn't unless she would say so first. Soon they swam to where the sun was setting under the ocean waters near a cave which was unused for the time being and he said "Open your eyes" a moment later after she would do so as he said, the sun set just right upon some beautiful diamonds at the very bottom of the ocean which made the water look like rainbow water surrounding them where the fish even sparkled like stars under the water in a brightly fashion.
