Clint snorted but caught the blanket, stretching out on the couch. Settling in until morning didn't sound like a bad idea.
|
Tony went to go flop on his bed, leaving the other two to share the couch.
|
Clint woke up the next morning on the floor, a wrapped in a blanket like a Hawkeye burrito. It was not the first time he'd ended up that way when sharing a room with someone.
Autumn, on the other hand, woke up perfectly content in her bed with the sun coming in through the sliding glass door. |
Alexis had gotten a few pictures of him already and was sprawled out on the couch, her limbs sticking out from under a blanket at all angles.
Pietro hadn't slept much, but he was curled up on the couch, relaxing, his eyes half-closed in the sunlight. |
Clint wriggled his way out of the blanket and stood up, stretching. He grinned when he noticed that someone (probably Tony, knowing the genius) had turned on the coffee maker with good coffee.
Autumn got up quietly, stretching a bit. She absently went through a couple of yoga poses before standing up again and padding over to start the coffee machine. |
Tony had indeed started the coffee machine, and was in the shower currently. Alexis didn't bother getting up yet, instead just looking at Clint for a few moments before she stretched a bit.
Pietro yawned briefly and got up, stretching up as much as he could before rolling his shoulders and settling back to his normal height. "Morning." |
Clint glanced over at her and grinned a bit.
"Morning," he said. "How was the couch?" Autumn looked over as she set the coffee machine. "Morning," she replied. "Did you sleep okay?" |
"Definitely not the worst place I've slept," Alexis said with a bit of a shrug. "How was the floor?"
"Yeah, I slept fine," Pietro said, looking over at her. "You?" |
"Slept on worse before," Clint said. "No big deal, I mean, it's carpeted, at least."
"I slept just fine," Autumn said, nodding. "Just started coffee, if you want some. I'm not sure how much caffeine you typically have." |
"No kidding." Alexis got up a bit reluctantly and stretched out before folding the blanket. "And I see we have power again."
"One cup is fine," Pietro said. One cup of coffee was normal for him, but Wanda wasn't allowed any. |
"I'd be surprised if we didn't," Clint replied.
Autumn nodded and set out two mugs for coffee. "Anything in it?" she asked him. She grinned. "Little known fact: I used to sling coffee when I was seventeen." |
"Me too." Alexis shrugged. "So, what's on your schedule for today? Anything interesting?"
"Everyone starts somewhere." Pietro grinned. "Cream, two sugars. Little known fact: I enjoy my coffee sweet." |
"Nope," Clint said, flopping backwards onto the bed once he'd downed his coffee. "Not at all."
Autumn grinned. "Never would have guessed," she said sarcastically, teasing. She poured the coffees, doctored them properly, and then handed him one of them. |
"Good, then you can continue to have your not-interesting plans while I go off with my touristy plans." Alexis grinned and took her time with her coffee.
Pietro just snorted, and then nodded his thanks as he took his coffee, taking a sip. Just right, which was unusual. Normally he had to adjust it a bit. |
Clint snickered.
"Sure you don't need me to tag along?" he asked. Autumn sipped her coffee and sighed. "One good thing about Stark is that he knows good coffee when he sees it," she said. "And he's prone to buying it in bulk." |
"Yup. You'd just cause problems, I know you by now." Alexis snorted at him.
Pietro snorted. "How did you even get Stark's coffee?" |
Clint just grinned.
"What if I want to tag along?" he asked. Autumn grinned. "Trade secret," she said. |
"Then you're just outta luck." Alexis smirked faintly and stood, going to put her coffee cup in the sink. "And I'm off to go get dressed. Ring if you need something, and I mean need as in life or death need, Barton."
"Does that other agent give it to you? I would not be surprised if she had a trading ring going of Stark's coffee." Pietro snorted. |
"I will only call if it's important," Clint said, grinning. "Scout's honor."
"Alexis?" Autumn grinned. "Yeah, for the most part. She has easiest access to it." |
"You never were a scout," Alexis said with a grin. "But okay."
Pietro snorted and shook his head, just relaxing for the moment. |
Clint just snickered a bit and let her go.
Autumn settled in with a sigh, flipping through a couple of things on her phone. So far, everything looked okay. |
A few hours later, Alexis was quite happily being a tourist and enjoying the sights of a theme park. Because this was the first opportunity she'd had in quite a while.
Of course, she'd forgotten that Tony didn't like being left behind, and he could hack into her phone. |
That was exactly what Clint had been banking on, in fact.
So how's the theme park? he texted her, grinning. He was perched up on the roof of the hotel, just keeping an eye on everything. |
Barton, if you're following me... Alexis let the text trail off threateningly. She did wait a few moments before she replied.
Noisy and normal and reminds me of when I was a kid. It's fun. |
Do you see me following you? Clint couldn't help but grin more as he sent the message. Then he paused for a moment. You know, if you want noisy and crowded, I bet I could find a good circus. I know all the best ones.
