" Yeah thanks." Athena sighed " This is why I never wear big dresses they make me clumsy." she had a soft blush on her face.

Yokou chuckled. "Big, fancy dresses aren't your style, anyway. You look better the way you usually dress." He said.

" In rags?" Athena sighed " Sorry that just come out." she knew he meant the short slave outfits she usually wore that didn't get in the way. " Shall we head inside?" she took his arm so she wouldn't trip again holding her dress off the ground.

Yokou blushed. "N-no, I meant...practical. Simple but elegant." He stammered, trying to stop himself from looking even more foolish. He helped her back into the house.

" I know." Athena chuckled " Your get flustered easily." she grinned sighing as she slipped her shoes off " Better."

Yokou smiled, taking her teasing good-naturedly. "I can't wait to change into something more comfortable. I hate suits and formal clothing." He said as he set his shoes aside.

" I'll go get changed and attend to my duties." Athena started off to go change.

Yokou bit his lip, stopping himself from telling Athena that she didn't have to go about her regular duties. He knew she did it because it was familiar and comfortable, so he let it go. She would eventually learn that it really wasn't necessary.

Athena changed and started her duties humming softly as she worked. Her mind drifted to the fun day she had and blinked as she thought of something she chuckled softly at the thought.

After changing, Yokou walked out of his room and down the stairs, not really having a destination in mind. He came across Athena chuckling as she worked, and lifted an eyebrow. "What's so funny?" He asked.

" Oh the thought that you like me more then just a house guest." Athena chuckled " It's funny because it come into my head when I know no one nice like you would like me as anything more then a friend." she sighed.

Yokou reached forward and gently brought her chin up so that she was looking him in the eye. "What makes you say that?" He asked seriously, his voice barely above a whisper.

" Makes me say what part?" Athena asked with a soft blush.
|
"The part about someone like me not liking you. It's not true at all. You really can't see it, can you? You can't see that you're beautiful and smart and kind."

" I can see I'm kind a little smart but I'm not beautiful." Athena said blushing more.

Yokou leaned in closer and whispered into her ear, "Yes you are."

Athena blushed more " You think so?" she hugged him " Well at least you think I'm pretty." she chuckled " Doesn't mean much though. "

"I do think so." Yokou replied, returning the hug. "But why doesn't it mean much?" He asked.

" Because your just my ex master and you'll only think of me as a house guest." Athena blinked " Unless you think of me as more then that."

Yokou sighed, a tiny smile on his face. "I would have thought my feelings were obvious by now. I can't see you as just a house guest, Athena. I like you...a lot." He looked her in the eye as he said it, trying to convey just how much he liked her.

"Really?" Athena asked with a blush.

"Of course. I have for a while now." Yokou replied.

" Well...thanks." Athena smiled not sure what else to say. " So...what know?'' she blinked.

Yokou blushed. "I...I'm not sure. I've never done this before. If you don't feel the same, then I guess we pretend this never happened." He said.

" I do feel the same way." Athena blushed.
