Yokou blinked, completely surprised. "Y-you...r-really? You do?" He asked. He had never expected her to return his feelings.

" Well I think that's what it is." Athena sighed " I've never thought of any guy as more then a thing to be cautious around but I like when you touch me so."

Yokou wasn't sure how to respond, so he just nodded. After a moment of silence, he cleared his throat. "So...now what?" He asked, feeling supremely awkward.

Athena blinked " You know I have no idea." she laughed " You could kiss me I guess."

Yokou blushed. "Y-you wouldn't mind?" He asked, clearly wanting to kiss her. He just wasn't sure she'd let him.

" I did suggest it didn't I?" Athena said cheekily.

Yokou chuckled. "That you did. Well, okay, then..." He said, stepping forward. He leaned down, tilting her head up to meet him, and gently kissed her on the lips.

Athena turned a bright pink color and kissed him back.

"Oh." Lori laughed as she spotted them kissing " My, my what's this?" she teased. |
Startled, Yokou looked up to see that Lori had arrived. He blushed deeply. "Oh, I, um, uh...w-we were...j-just...kissing?" He finished, deciding that the truth was obvious enough.

" I can see that." Lori laughed " I'm not to surprised."

"You're not?" Yokou asked, surprised.

" no I saw the way you freaked out over Athena twisting her ankle." Lori chuckled " Commence making out." she said walking off. " Meh." Athena said with a sigh.

Yokou sighed. "Well, that happened. I guess I'm pretty obvious." He said, looking sheepish.

" I guess." Athena chuckled " Your not obvious to me."

"Well, it's a start, I guess." Yokou said with a grin. "Would you like to go write that letter to your parents now?" He asked.

" Alright." Athena nodded and shyly took his hand.

Yokou blushed a little and couldn't help the smile that crept onto his features. Holding her hand, he walked with her to the library where they did their reading lessons. He took out paper and a pen, along with an envelope, and set it all on the table for her. "Write whatever you want. When you're done, I'll make sure it gets to them."

Athena scowled in concentration. She wrote something short and studied it tilting her head " I think I spelled things wrong."

Yokou came over and looked at what she had written. "Where do you think you misspelled something?" He asked.

Athena gestured to the whole thing smiling softly " I did just learn how to write I bet most of it is wrong." she sighed. |

Yokou looked over the small amount she had written, checking for errors. "Actually, you got most of it right. There are only three words that are spelled wrong here. The rest is perfect." He said proudly. |

" Really?" Athena flushed with pride " That's great." she grinned " Do I get a present?" |

Yokou couldn't stop the smile that took over his features. "You do get a present." He said, and kissed her. |
