((Um...well let's see. It could start with something really bothering him or hurting his feelings, like...like her parents trashing him! And then he just has a bad week, all leading up to a nasty insult by Lori, right on the night of the full moon. [twisted]))

Athena stood watching Yokou clearly she wanted to ask him something but she wasn't sure if she should or not. |
Feeling that he was being watched, Yokou glanced over at Athena. It was pretty clear she had something on her mind. "Is there something you want to ask me?"

" Can we go see my parents?" Athena asked blushing softly.

Yokou blinked, then blinked again. Then blinked a few more times. That was not what he had expected. "Well...sure. Yeah, we can go. Whatever you like." He said.

" Cool." Athena smiled and hugged him tightly " Can we go know?"

Yokou smiled at her enthusiasm. "Absolutely. Come on." He said, taking her hand and tugging her gently towards the door.

" YAY!" Athena jumped for joy and began to pull him towards the carriage " Come on." she hurried to the horses " Lets just ride the horses."

Laughing, Yokou nodded and set the horses up to be ridden. He hopped up on one- a large black male he called Sabbath- and motioned her towards the other- a sturdy white female named Yuki. "They're both ready to go."

" um....I don't know how to get on." Athena admitted blushing softly.

Yokou turned red, embarrassed that he hadn't thought to help her. He jumped down and went over to her side. "I'm so sorry. It's like I've got no manners at all. Here, just put your foot in my hands like this, then boost up and swing your other leg over." He explained, lacing his fingers together to make a sort of stirrup.

Athena did as told and managed to get on the horses " I did it...thanks." she smiled at him.

Standing up, Yokou smiled sheepishly. "You're welcome. Do you know how to ride?" He asked, feeling a bit silly.

" I know a little." Athena smiled " it's the getting up part that I have a hard time with." she urged the horse forward.

Back up on Sabbath, Yokou smiled and flicked the reins. "Very well, then. You'll have to lead the way, since I don't know where your parents live yet." He said, drawing level with her.

" Alright try and keep up." Athena flicked the reins and took off laughing.

"No problem!" Yokou urged Sabbath on, laughing as he did. The two horses were evenly matched in speed.

It was a three hour ride to her parents masters house so she pulled the horse to a walk patting it's neck.
