"You know it." Athena chuckled and stretched "apparently we've been asleep to long."

Yokou smirked. "At least she pays attention." He said, standing up. He held out a hand to help her up.

Athena took his hand and got to her feet nodding "She does but when she finds out you might want to run." "Why would he run?" Lori asked coming back to see if they were really up. "Oh that's for him to say." Athena threw him under the carriage. Lori just raised her eyebrow.

Yokou turned pale, glaring slightly at Athena, though it was playful. He accepted this as his responsibility, and he didn't blame her for not wanting to tell the story. "Lori, I have to tell you something. Last night, I lost control..." He continued, recounting everything he remembered from the night before. The look on his face as he spoke was pure anguish and guilt and regret. Mentally, he was preparing for the pain that was about to happen.

Lori stared at him for the longest time then without even blinking she punched him hard enough to knock down a elephant "OH!" Athena winced "YOU SON OF *** WITH A *** IN A *** ON A ***." Lori started kicking him were it counted "Lori stop, stop." "I'll rip off your ** and shove it straight up you" "LORI!" Athena blushed "What?" Lori turned to her hissing slightly "Um nothing." Athena wilted a little. "Your lucky Athena loves you or I would throw you from the building drag you behind the carriage and leave you out in the forest for the wolves to eat you." Lori pulled Athena away grumbling.

Even though he was terrified, Yokou did nothing to stop Lori from hurting him. In fact, part of him welcomed the pain. Once she was finished, he just lay there. "I'm sorry...I deserve it." He whispered, his voice barely audible from the pounding his nether regions had taken.

Athena didn't argue or fight back to scared to. Lori set her to helping with lunch a creepy silence filling the kitchen.

After about an hour, Yokou finally managed to sit up and head towards his room. He was still in pain, but he finally felt like it would eventually heal. He wondered if he would have to get his own food, or if Athena and Lori would make lunch...and how long it would take for the poison to kick in once he ate it.

Athena entered "I watched her so no poison promise." She smiled.

Yokou looked up and smiled weakly. "Any chance she won't hit me the second I walk in?" He asked. His tone made it clear that he thought he deserved to be hurt.

"No so I brought the food to you." Athena placed the food on his lap.

"Thank you." Yokou said, motioning for her to sit down. He took a very careful bite, just in case Athena wanted him dead, too.

Athena sat down and took her sandwich digging in "Go on I'm not going to kill you there's no where for me to go...yet." she grinned playfully.

Yokou chuckled and dug in, happy that Athena didn't seem to hate him. "I don't deserve a woman like you. Athena, you are amazing."

"I'm not that great." Athena blushed "I just have a way of forgiving the people I love. I love you."

Yokou blushed along with her. "I love you, too." He said.

Athena leaned down and kissed him gentle she pulled away and smiled at him before going back to eating.

Yokou savored the kiss while it lasted, then quietly went back to eating, a smile on his face. "So, how long should I hide in here before Lori calms down a bit?" He asked after a while.

"A day or a year depending on how mad she is.'' Athena chuckled finishing her food she placed her head in his lap.

Yokou smiled and absently stroked Athena's hair. "Well, I guess I'll just have to risk it and take my lumps. I'm sure I'll live through most of what she does to me." He said. He knew Lori would be mad at him for a while, and probably hurt him every chance she got, but he would survive. He would live, just to be with Athena.

"She'll give you lumps, cold food and the cold shoulder but I'll warm your food and kiss your lumps and rub your cold shoulders." Athena smiled softly.

"As long as you're here, I'll be fine. All I need is to see you." Yokou said.

"You two better not be doing it because I'm coming in." Lori opened the door as Athena quickly lifted her head off of his lap blushing. "Oh good no whoopy." she giggled "I'm going to the market want anything?" she asked Athena " No." Athena managed to chirp out a dark red color. "Alright you to may go back to doing whatever." she left a evil gin on her face. "She is the rudest, moment ruining person I have ever meet." Athena mumbled.

Yokou blushed lightly, though he wasn't as badly affected as Athena. "I swear she waits outside the door for the most inopportune moment. To even imply that I would sleep with you now, when we've only been together a week! And before marriage, no less." He shook his head. He was raised better than that...mostly.

Athena blinked a little "What's marriage got to do with it? Mom says she was prego with me before they got married sure they had plans but they could never afford it I don't think a lot of slaves, maids and butlers ever get married that's controlled by there lord and if he ok's it you still need the money so mostly slaves just do it...though you are right on the only a week thing...you do want to though right I mean I'm not really that pretty naked and I have a vague idea what to do." she started to ramble on.
