"Then your a liar no demon can love a human." The lady glanced at Athena "you'll break her heart. they always do."

"Like I said, I'm only half demon. I will never hurt Athena, I'd rather kill myself." Yokou said. "Athena, let's go. I think I can get us both out of here safely."

Athena dodged around the girl who stopped and gave her a token. "Use this if you need us." She nodded and took Yokous hand.

Yokou glanced back at the woman only once before leading Athena in a different direction than the one he had taken before. He didn't want to run into the same hunters again. "I'm going to have to take us out the window up here. I need you to hold on to e as tightly as you can...without choking me. Okay?" He said.

"No promises about the chocking part I'm terrified of heights." Athena gripped his neck as tightly as she could squeezing her eyes shut "Away oh flying stead."

Yokou couldn't help but chuckle at the last statement, but he didn't say anything more. He just made sure she was supported properly, and then took off through the window. They were three floors up, so the flight downward wasn't too bad. But Yokou didn't stop flying when they got low down. He kept going, as fast as he dared with Athena, through the forest and back towards home.

Athena felt she might throw up but made it to the mansion without puking on him instead she let go and threw up on the ground "Gross." she coughed wiping her mouth off grimacing.

Yokou bent down next to her and rubber her back. "I'm sorry, I should have stopped. I just wanted to get us out of there as fast as possible. Did they hurt you at all?" He asked. Now that Athena was safe, he was running out of energy and his form shifted back to human.

"No they just wanted to save me from you and to kill you." Athena hugged him "Whoever it was that's my job." Lori passed them with bags. " She makes it really hard to be romantic." Athena sighed.

Yokou laughed weakly, mostly from relief. "And just where was she five minutes ago when they abducted you?" He said, only partially joking.

"Your one to talk." Athena retorted then kissed him fiercely "I'm glad you came for me though." she said breathless.

"I would go to hell and back for you." Yokou said quietly. And he truly meant it.

"I wouldn't go that far." Athena teased a glint in her eyes "I'm to pure to get into hell."
|
Yokou laughed. "You're right, of course. I could only hope to be so lucky." He said. He knew he was going to hell, it was pretty much guaranteed.

Athena frowned softly and hugged him letting out a yawn.

Yokou found the yawn contagious, and started yawning as well. After a moment, the energy he had used the night before, coupled with the energy he had used just then, caught up with him, and he crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

"Yokou?" Athena yelped "Oh you couldn't have done that inside." she sighed and began pulling him then with a grumble fetched Lori together they dragged him inside and pulled him onto the couch both exhausted they went to there room and collapsed leaving him there.

Athena woke the next morning groaning softly Lori was already gone and the smell of breakfast came threw the mansion. She got up and walked downstairs stomach growling. |
Yokou groaned and yawned as he woke up. He started to stretch, and fell off the couch he had been set on. "Oof! Wha-? Oh. The couch." He realized that he must have passed out, and been dragged there. Shrugging, he decided to head to the kitchen and see what was for breakfast.

Athena literally ran into him "sorry." she blushed softly as Lori appeared "Oh good your both up time for breakfast." she walked back into the kitchen "She's still made at you." Athena chuckled and squeezed his hand leading the way licking her lips at the sight of the pancakes and bacon. "Yum." "We need more meat by the way." Lori mentioned mouth twitching into a smirk.

Yokou shrugged. "I didn't expect her to forgive me overnight." He said, following her into the kitchen. "I can take you into town to get groceries later, if you'd like."

"You don't hunt your self?" Lori asked sweetly ignoring Athena's glare.

Yokou ignored the dig, though his jaw twitched slightly. "Or perhaps you can go together and I'll stay here. Clearly I'm not to be trusted around normal people. Besides, those hunters might still be lurking..."

Athena chuckled lightly and looked to Lori who nodded "we'll go together and get the meat." Lori said smiling softly "As soon as breakfast is done."
