Black Friday in retail is brutal. Especially in a clothing store. So. Much. Folding!

I worked at clothing stores in an outlet mall, refolding the same things over and over was monotonous. Regular days were bad enough, but Black Friday was the worse. |

I don't work at a clothing store anymore, but I definitely remember
folding piles of clothes that were tossed around by customers. |
It's literally piles and piles of clothes. And then you get customers asking for a certain item that's hidden in the middle of these giant heaps of clothing or that they left in the changing rooms that needs to be refolded and put back out on the floor. Go backs are just about as bad as all the piles that need folding.

I think I would want to punch those people in their faces!

I mastered the fake smile working fast food. it comes in handy when I teach and the parents are all up in my business |
I bet that does come in handy.
I have found that if you treat irate customers with a "I'm so sorry that happened" and "Let me see what I can do for you", it's hard for them to stay mad. And always add the "have a nice day", even if theiy'restill mad. |
Oh, the fake smile. I know it well!

Made it through work! Now I'm off for Thanksgiving break! Phew!
*can sleep and get better* |
I have to work tomorrow, but I am being allowed to take it as a half day.

Naw, with the hours I've been doing lately, I'd rather take the half day lol.

HAHAHA that works! I know when I worked at my KFC/TacoBell/Pizza hut - I was ticked I didn't get full hours during weeks like this because I needed the money. But now I'm good so I'm like YAYAYAYAYAY :D |
On an unrelated note, the turkey hat turned out fabulously
|
The Turkey hat really is awesome Maria!
