I just have to get the booster shot because I'll be at high risk of being exposed for school.

Magghia: No, I've never had insurance so I don't get things like that unless I have to.

Ah, I do understand that. I haven't had insurance for two years now, and I've gotten a lot worse at keeping up with preventative health things. I'm pretty good on the core vaccines because we made sure to keep those up to date right before I lost my insurance. But I'd love to keep my rabies vaccine up to date (which requires expensive as hell titres), and I haven't had my teeth looked at or a wellness exam for those two years. It does not make me feel good about my health.

I've been to a dentist once, because I fell off my bike as a kid and hit the pavement mouth first. Otherwise I've never had my teeth looked at.
I don't even mind getting the shot or spending the money, I've heard it's not that much, but I have just been procrastinating putting the time in to find a clinic to go to.
