Now all we need is a trap to catch them brain gremlins. x3

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 01:18 AM

Maybe we can dangle some delicious looking acetylcholine?

Amane 05-11-2014 01:20 AM

Just when you think you've seen it all…

Bowl cut mullet.

That is...different. [rofl]

MoodyBats 05-11-2014 01:23 AM

@Steel
sounds like we have a great plan now!

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 01:25 AM

GLORY SHALL BE OURS! Or you know, normal brain chemistry. :D

MoodyBats 05-11-2014 01:27 AM

We'll be able to think more clearly and positively!

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 01:33 AM

Our brains won't tell us that everything is awesome all the time! Huzzah!

MoodyBats 05-11-2014 01:35 AM

Haha yes. x3
Everything will be awesome [angel]

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 01:37 AM

When all your drawing ideas are beyond your capabilities.

I completely understand this. I have had this idea for making a painting of what my depression felt like to me in vet school, and I have NO ability to do it. It's frustrating.

Amane 05-11-2014 01:48 AM

That's deep, Magghia. I just really like drawing my OCs, but I don't know how to draw them doing half of the things I want to draw them doing. I've had drawing ideas for years that I still can't do. @[email protected]

Haha, one has plenty of time to think deep thoughts when one can't escape the hell of one's mind. Have you gotten one of those artists models? Like this?

Amane 05-11-2014 02:00 AM

I haven't, but I should. I save ALL the reference things.

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 02:03 AM

They're fairly cheap at Michael's or online. And then you pose them and use them as references. For a while I was really in to drawing people...well, women. Men are too hard for me. But then I realized that I use my own body physics as reference, and my body doesn't work like smaller women's, and I don't like drawing obese women.

Amane 05-11-2014 02:07 AM

Here's the thing with drawing my OCs. How easy or hard they are to draw depends on what their personality is like. I have one character who's as kind and obedient as can be as long as he likes you, and my drawings of him always turn out well. On the other end, I have a shy and awkward character who doesn't know what she's doing half the time, and she can be very difficult to draw.

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 02:13 AM

Well I can't help ya there. I never had a problem like that. The hardest person I've ever drawn was Medusa and that was because I had the crazy idea to do a different snake that is native to Texas for each strand of hair. Me and my "Snakes of Texas" guidebook were best friends.

Amane 05-11-2014 02:15 AM

The result of everything I try to do with my OCs corresponds with their personality. [rofl]
Niiice. That's something I would do.

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 02:29 AM

I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and show you. It's pretty awesome.

Amane 05-11-2014 02:36 AM

And FINISHED IT. You're amazing. *claps*

MoodyBats 05-11-2014 02:41 AM

So hard not to fall asleep.
I forgot today is Saturday and my dad stays up until at least 10pm Dx

Haha, I rarely don't finish art that I start. I may not like it in the end, but it'll be finished.

I'm tired too, but even if I go to bed now I'll want to sleep forever tomorrow.

Amane 05-11-2014 02:59 AM

I finish it. It just looks too bad the next day for me to count it as finished.

steelmagghia 05-11-2014 03:00 AM

My favorite artist always says that you can't let perfectionism ruin your art.
