And enjoying my last few days of freedom, although I do have to get a few things done tomorrow - like attempt to brave the bookstore for one more book that I still haven't gotten yet. [XD] Not sure if I want to brave it though, it's going to be a mad house. [sweat]

Ugh, I have had more luck with the campus bookstore this semester than I have with Amazon. I paid extra foe 2 day shipping - over a week ago. Still no book [illgetu]

It's just been hot all around no matter where I am this 'winter'. -.- *sighs* It just makes me sad. :( We have gotten like no water this 'winter', it's freaking people out.
The governor has officially declared a drought here. :/ Not good. [:(]
I ordered 7 of the 8 books I need for classes like a week before I was set to fly back down here, and all of them showed up before I got down here.
I couldn't find one of them on amazon, which is the only reason I have to brave the stupid bookstore. :/ Not looking forward to having to stand on that line, though. D:

Nemo: All 3 of the books for my Kinship class were made in the 60's and 70's - 2 of them are out of print. I think our prof is a sadist [stare]

Roxxxy: Ugh, that doesn't help at all. I'm just glad that my major isn't a major that asks for super expensive books... I'm getting all my books for under 200$... keeping fingers crossed as I can't find the book list for the fourth class, so that's 200$ for all the books I need for three classes. We'll see if Sho (my teacher for the fourth class) wants us to have a book... Hopefully not, so I can save money... we'll see. *keeps her fingers crossed*

Nemo, you got lucky with book costs! Before I changed out of the Biology major, each book averaged close to 200.

It's because I'm not a science-y major, I think. I'm a deaf studies major, so I'm sure that plays a key part in the role of how much my books are costing me - and I'm sure my aunt thanks that as well as she pays for my books and has been paying for my books for about 7 years now. [sweat] D:
