You're probably better off listening to them for recommendations, The stuff I read is not stuff i'd recommend to anyone without knowing that they'd like it first.

I'll take anyones recommendations gratefully. You've recommended me some good things in the past though. I've liked them all.

Depends on the genre.
If you need something mindless & silly fun then Ouran High School Host Club, it ran for about 18 volumes.
If you want something with a supernatural (& shojo) theme, then Yurara, which was 5 volumes & the sequel Rasetsu no Hana, which was 9 volumes.
The Devil Does Exist (Akuma de Sōrō) & Hana Kimi are still some of my favorite shojo.

I love One Piece, but I'm very far behind on reading it, same way with Naruto & Bleach.

I'm trying to think of other stuff to recommend, but I have lost my manga list & I can't think of names of stuff at the moment. [headdesk]

Don't bother catching up on Naruto. It got bad. Like, I don't read it to find out the story now, I read it to find out how many things can be retconned in a single chapter.

I have an assignment that is driving me up a wall, and now my friend who just started ASL I is trying to one up me because "Her teacher is already teaching her how to gloss" and I've been in this major for almost 3 1/2 years and have NEVER had a teacher teach me how to gloss.... and -.- Blah. D: I don't want to do this stupid assignment. D: :(

I'm sorry Nemo. I need to study for a test, but haven't. :(

I woke up at 6 am, to try to start, and slept till 7:30... and now it's inching up on 8:20 and all I have written is 1/2 a page, and I still need to gloss it, and I just am horribly confused and I don't know what to do. :/

No, I didn't. She was telling me last night when I told her it was slow going that "oh dear. It's hard to just translate everything." D: she just belittles me, because she can, I don't think she realizes that shes doing it most of the time.

My teacher doesn't want to have to teach things via email though it says in her syllabus. I don't even know where to start. D: I've got five tabs open on how to gloss and I'm even more lost than I was before. And I've a friend who is making me feel even worse because she's in ASL 1 and already learning... and I've been at this 3 1/2 years and NEVER had a teacher explain it to me. D:
And I only have 1/2 a page of the actual paper written, and it needs to be 2 pages, and she doesn't accept anything under minimums.

And with Sassy here, because Naomi refuses to take her to class, that's one more distraction I can't afford to have. AND Ugh! I told her (my roommate) "I've so much to do before class. I'm busy." Her response "It won't take you long... -.-" SHE NEEDS TO LEARN TO TAKE NO FOR NO AND JUST TAKE HER DOG TO CLASS WITH HER!!!!! D: UGH!!! D: Yay, stress! [cheer] *sarcasm*

I can see if there's anyone that my teacher recommends to try to catch me up, I suppose.
I just am afraid that if I tell her, that I won't be allowed to stay in the class, and if I am not in that class, I don't have my 12 units required to stay in housing.
I've always had a hard time asking for help as well.
