That's great!

I'm making a felt thing at the moment that makes me think of hummy. [heart]
This is only half of it. I had to give it an eye (it's not sewn on), because it looked too creepy without one - the eye when it's finished will probably be made with three seed beads per side. And my needle is it's beak (which will be a toothpick colored black with a sharpie when it's done), and I also need to get stuffing. The second half isn't made yet, but so far I think it's coming out cute! :)

Thanks Mag! [hug] It'll be a work in progress for awhile - I just couldn't wait to start it. [lol] So I decided to cut out the pieces and start sewing them together, and then wait for my friend to send me the toothpicks (as someone I don't have any), the seed beads, and the stuffing. :)

Awesome! I am physically feeling better than I have in months. I am so excited about that. I'm getting anxious about the boy break up. I want to do it in person, so I'm avoiding him right now, because I don't have time to meet with him and I'm afraid it will just come out if I talk to him because he keeps pushing so hard for future plans. I had to listen to some of my best motivation/anti depressant songs last night just to get to sleep. Thank god for Youtube on my phone.
But I have a tutoring session later today and shopping to do and maybe that'll keep me distracted.

Yeah, so I just have to find a safe place for the pieces till I can get around to sewing the other side. And then where to put the two sides till I get the rest of my supplies, which should be being sent down to me soon. :) I think. They, her mom and her, were putting it together last night. (This is the friend who I can't trust with lying, but I do trust her here, because it's her mom who started it to see if there was anything she could send me. And I trust her mom.)

[hug] that's great that physically you're doing better than you have in months, that's wonderful! [hug] I do hope that the whole breakup with the boy goes alright, and I can understand that, in person would probably be better. And yay for YouTube! :) [hug]

Oh yes, as soon I get some moolah i'm buying a brita filter so we won't have to buy bottled water anymore.

If you want, I can see if my parents still have my old Brita Water Pitcher that I don't use, and I could mail it to you when I'm home next? If that would help? :) I think they still have it, under the house, if I'm remembering correctly. :) It isn't a huge one, but if it would help, I would do that. ^_^

I need to make myself go to the post office - I have another little thing to send off to a cousin, and to the store as well. But I'm feeling lazy. Not sure if I want to walk there, and that's the only way for me to get there right now. I'm feeling very lazy. LOL.

I used the Pur water filter that goes straight on the faucet. I loved it because it didn't take up room in my fridge. But of course, the water didn't come out super cold, either, so there is that. I mostly bought the filter for the dogs anyway. The place we lived had more chlorine in their water than I felt was safe for the kidneys and livers of my tiny dogs.

Nemo- Oh you don't have to do that! I can wait. [hug]

Steel- Those are neat lookin too. I've been wanting one for like almost five or six years.. lol.

llonka: Alright. [hug] It really isn't being used. It just stays under our house, unless my parents got rid of it, but they probably haven't. I just don't have a use for it anymore. Just wanted to put that out there. :)

Ugh, so one of my friends - the one who's sending me the things to complete the hummingbird - sent me a picture and she was like "I made this ages ago, with real felt (wool)" so is my felt not real felt because it's not wool? :/

We have high chlorine levels where I live.

Maybe she was just really proud of herself or something. Don't take her comment as a comment on yours. Besides that, wool is itchy and gross.
I appreciate that they add chlorine, because I'm a fan of not getting giardia from my drinking water, but sometimes I think they go overboard. Drinking water should not taste like pool water. [lol]

And that's almost like someone using both the light bell and the actual doorbell for our apartment. xD Using only the light bell works. xD You don't need to use both.

Oh, it was pretty, I just feel like she's always trying to one up me. :/ It is itchy and I don't like working with it. I prefer felt that doesn't make me really itchy. :/ That would make me not want to work with it.

Oh, some people are just like that. Just say "that's nice" and move on. Not worth it to let them make you feel bad. And I'm tooootally with you on wool. Ick ick ick. Though I'm fond of alpaca wool.

I agree, but doing both at the same time, when this is the Deaf Building, so all of us, even the hearing ones, are totally fine with using the light bell. We all respond to that. [lol] It flashes a light in the bedrooms, and the common area (the kitchen/living room).

Yeah. I do have a cute little beret type hat that I got in Ireland that's made out of wool, but it's so worn now that it doesn't bother me anymore :P
