That's it! I knew there was Sensitive in there somewhere but wasn't sure on the rest.
It's good that you've found ways to sort of... Recuperate from social sorts of things. Oh god, I can relate with that but probably in a different way. Curling up in bed and just watching things is so nice. *__*
Those headphone would really be a good investment. They sound really good to keep out the outside noise, especially if you live in a big city plus you seem to go on car trips a lot so there's that too~

Yeah, took me awhile to remember what it all stood for - I knew HSP, but for some reason kept on forgetting what it stood for. xD [lol]
It all depends on what is going on and all that. And how much stimulation I've been having to deal with. It really is nice, and sometimes really needed! Although time loves to run away on me and make me go "Where did all the time go?"
They would! I just am sick of my parents going "you won't wear them all the time, right?" Um, no I won't but you have no idea how hard life can be with noise and just life. It would be so lovely to just shut that all out for awhile. It would help me out, so much! (I was just thinking about car trips and wishing I had them on this most recent trip. xD LOL)

Possibly, she's not sure how to be supportive of you and is trying to figure things out. I have a friend who has a noise phobia. If she hears snoring, even very light snoring, she will try to crawl out of her skin to make it stop. It's terrible. So glad I don't have that.
I haven't won it. :)

See, if my mom had asked me if it's ok if she talks to our friend, I would have said that's fine, but I just hate that she basically wants me to act like she never did it... -.- Ugh! [headdesk]
And oh, wow! That's crazy! That does sound terrible.
I had a roommate once who was like that - I would be over next door with friends and would come in and she would bitch at me for coming to bed, and I was walking as quietly as I could. >.<
