@Magghia: The best part is doing all that, thinking it's great, and then looking at it the next day and all you can see is FAIL. [sarcasm]

nemo.love_22 01-10-2014 03:47 AM

Amane 01-10-2014 03:47 AM

Bonus points if you colored it and made cheesy edits, plus text.

It does seem to have picked up in here.

I try not to, it's just so hard. *sighs* I see others around me, getting married, in successful long term relationships, having kids, getting real jobs, and I'm the one still stuck at school, not working. And relying on my parents to help me get this degree that I'm not even sure what I'll do with. MY parents keep making comments about when they're not having to deal with paying for three colleges at once, and then say "Don't worry, don't rush." but it still makes me feel really bad that I'm taking so long! :(

I do understand. My little sister is married, has her own house, has three degrees, and her husband has an amazing job. But I try not to compare myself to her. We wanted different things and went different ways, and we're both going to be fine. You'll be fine in your own time. Don't compare. Half of those people that are married will be divorced in five years and everyone else has their own insecurities.

YES! The Doctor gets to everyone.

Tennant is my Doctor for sure. But Smith grew on me, but he'll never beat Tennant. I'm sure that Capaldi will be ok, I just am waiting till we see more of him to make a judgement. :]

Smith is my love. I adore his slightly childish ways and his endearing love of the silly. I'm sure Capaldi will be great.

Oh jeez. The thread is moving faster than I can keep up. I will be back at some point.

And we went a little crazy with our after-holiday candy shopping; we now have an entire candy shelf in the pantry, not including the fruit bowl we turned into a candy bowl [sweat]

All fruit bowls should be candy bowls around Christmas!

Dang, I'm like two pages behind.

I try not to compare myself to those people either, but it's hard when they're all done with college and they're younger than me and happy and I'm the one who's alone, never had a boyfriend, and can't seem to get out of college in a reasonable amount of time. >.< That just bothers me for some reason, and that's the tip of the iceberg. *pokes them away, rather attempts to do this, and it doesn't work* They're still there.

He does have his moments of utter silliness that captured me! STORMEGEDDON!! (Sp?) :P

Alright! I may or may not be around when you get back, I'll probably be headed off soon myself. [yes]

---------- Post added 01-09-2014 at 07:55 PM ----------

Ok, I'm headed off as well! Be back later, not sure when.

If it makes any of you guys feel better that feel down in the relationship area, My fiancé and I have broken up and we were in a relationship for 6 years.

Yep. [lol] Never know when these facts will come in handy! :D

I did not make that connection at all, haha. Not a fan (Was it a good idea to say that? :o )

And if they don't, it's still something to know anyway. I have no idea if that makes sense or not. >.>

Amane 01-10-2014 03:58 AM

I'm too "don't touch me" to ever make it in a relationship beyond friendship.

I broke off my three year engagement in college and I'm about ready to end the relationship I have now. We've also been dating for three years.
Apparently, three years is the point where I get tired of the relationship.

Amane: this silk drawing tool is soooo prettiful. I just wish it had a few more options. I'd like to be able to work with reflection on its own a little more.

Amane 01-10-2014 04:19 AM

@Magghia: I love the spiral setting… What do you mean, reflection on its own?

steelmagghia 01-10-2014 04:22 AM

Like, I'd love a straight free draw tool that just reflected as well. It'd be great for creating henna like patterning.

Amane 01-10-2014 04:30 AM

I love Henna. *o*

steelmagghia 01-10-2014 04:31 AM

Me too. I have a bunch of it. My friends and I used to do mehindi all the time. We had henna parties and it was a lot of fun. I still do some work with it. :)
LOOK WHAT I MAAADE!

I've only had henna once. My friend did the dark mark on me for a Harry Potter premier, haha. I wonder if I can find the photo..

It took her a whole lunch break at school! It was so freaking amazing, it looked even better once all the stuff had come off too.

Amane 01-10-2014 04:37 AM

Once I made a rose design, but it's not saved on this computer.

It would be cool to be covered in henna for something special.

steelmagghia 01-10-2014 04:38 AM

That is awesome! I have the problem that my hands get really cold, which causes the henna to orange up rather than brown. I have to use a blow dryer. Haha.
I LOVE the dark mark henna. That is awesome.
