Sasuke watched as he suppressed his presence, trying to learn more about his target. So far it seemed as if the boy and dobe both valued the female's life, but who was that Maya they were talking about? He'd have to investigate. Besides...his employer gave him no deadline to finish the job of killing the Heir of the Tengun Clan after all...
(Question: Would Naruto warn Blake and/or the others about Sasuke?) |

"It's getting late. We should all go back to bed, and talk to Maya-chan about this in the morning. It would be unfair and dangerous to leave a team member out of something so important." Hikari suggested.

"I agree. If we don't tell her, she could become a target," Ark said as he waited for Hikari and Naruto to head down the stairs.

Naruto nodded. "I also agree. If we have to face this, then we face it as a team. I just hope she's not too angry that she was the only one not there."

"She might be a little mad at all of us for not waking her, but the two of us were having a private conversation..." Areku replied. Though he had to admit, he was glad that Naruto showed up. Now he had an idea of who destroyed his clan.

Naruto had the good sense to look sheepish. "Yeah, I, uh...sorry?" He tried, making Hikari roll her eyes.

Ark just shook his head as he headed down the stairs

Upon entering the room, Naruto froze. "Uh...Kari-chan, you wake her up." He said, gesturing to Amaya. He was terrified of what she might do to him if he woke her.
Hikari sighed and pushed past him. "Naruto-san, you are a wimp. Maya-chan...wake up please..." She said, turning to Amaya. |
"I honestly don't blame him Kari-chan," he spoke up in Naruto's defense. He had a feeling that if Naruto woke Amaya up then it definitely wouldn't be pretty.
"Don't wanna..." Amaya muttered as she turned to the side. She was having a nice dream for once and didn't want to let go of it. Besides, she was comfy and didn't have any classes until eight in the morning. Little did she know how important this was. |
Hikari only rolled her eyes and kept trying. "Maya-chan, please, this is important. Please wake up." She said, reaching out to shake the other girl's shoulder a bit.

"Alright, alright,, I'm up. This better be important though,"Amaya muttered.

Hikari nodded, relieved. "It is important. Listen, something just happened that you need to know about..." She said, and went on to explain the appearance of Sasuke and what had happened afterwards.
Naruto helped out by supplying information whenever it was needed. When Hikari finished, he sat down on his bed. "We decided you had to know as soon as possible. It would have been wrong not to tell you. I'm nervous, though...what if he goes after our friends?" |
"Like Team RWBY and JNPR?" Amaya asked after absorbing everything that happened. She was curious as to what this Sasuke person could do though...

Naruto nodded. "Yeah. I may not like everyone on those teams, but it wouldn't be fair to put them in danger, just through association...what do you guys think? Should we tell them about this?" He asked, looking desperately lost.

"I think we should, especially if Sasuke thinks we're overly fond of anyone on their teams," Amaya said with a light sigh. All she wanted to do was come here and find out what people ordered the death of her parents during that night.

Hikari nodded in agreement. "I think so, too. You said he's ruthless- he probably wouldn't hesitate to hurt them if he thought it would get to us. We can't be too careful. In fact..." She trailed off, looking at the wall. "In this kind of situation, shouldn't we tell the headmaster, or someone like that?"

"We probably should. Naruto would know best but...I think it's a good idea to let the headmaster know," Ark said. He didn't want to let someone get hurt just because he wanted to keep the issue quiet.

Naruto nodded, feeling a bit foolish that he hadn't thought of it himself. "Yeah, you're right. That would be the smartest thing to do. If we kept it quiet and someone got hurt..." He shook his head. "I can't believe I didn't think of that. I'm just so used to dealing with stuff on my own, I guess I forgot that there was someone higher up we could tell."

"I think that due to our collective pasts...we all forgot that lesson," Ark replied with an awkward chuckle. "Well...I could use some sleep, and I'm sure you all can as well. Tomorrow morning, we'll tell Professor Ozpin about Sasuke."

"Right. I didn't even realize how tired I was until now." Hikari said with a slight chuckle. She went to her bed and lay down with a tired sigh. "Good night, guys."
Naruto followed her lead and went to lay down in his bed. "Good night, everyone." He said. |
"Good night everyone," Areku replied as he laid down in his new bed.
"Night everyone," Amaya responded with a light yawn. She would have to ask Ark or Kari what they were doing on the roof in the first place. She didn't want to think that she already lost when it came to Ark... |
The next morning, Naruto was up before anyone else, which was a first. He hadn't slept well, and it showed in his eyes, but he tried to hide it before any of the others woke up.

Despite her best efforts to stay awake, Amaya was forced out of the world of dreams earlier than expected. Seeing Ark and Hikari still asleep, she noticed that her original partner was nowhere to be seen. 'I wonder where he went...' she thought before lightly stretching.
