"Just...don't do it again, please? We're friends Naruto-kun," the cat girl said softly.

(You know, I've been thinking about what Sasuke would do next, considering that Itachi was coming to Beacon. I can see him kidnapping someone in order to get information, but I'm not sure who it would be: Hikari because of her connections with both his brother and his target, or Blake due to her friendship with Naruto, the person he wants to make despair the most)

"All I ask is that you try," Blake said before she bid Naruto and the other members of Team HANA good-bye before catching up with her teammates, all sitting down in the area where they were sleeping before the Inauguration Exam a few days ago. On the stage with a podium was Professor Ozpin.

((Oh, that's a good idea. Wolfie thinks kidnapping Blake makes more sense, because that would bring Naruto running, and his team along with him, which puts Hikari right in the line of fire. Sasuke would probably want to target Naruto more, anyway.))

Hikari sat with the rest of her team, waiting for Ozpin to start talking. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she wondered when Itachi would show up.

Pyrrha wondered what was going on, especially since she hadn't heard anything from Team HANA like Blake had. All she knew was the same as mostly everyone else in the school: That there was a threat to the school and everyone within it and that Professor Ozpin was going to talk about it.

"My fellow teachers and students of Beacon Academy, I am sorry to give this grave news to you all. However, it is better to have this news and be knowledgeable instead of being blissfully ignorant. Especially when said ignorance could get you killed," Ozpin started to say as he explained what happened while omitting certain things and explaining just how dangerous this Sasuke person could be. He also explained that he had hired help in this endeavor to keep the school safe and that he would be here within a day or two.

Even though Hikari already knew what was going to be said, she was still just as distressed as the rest of the students at the news.

Weiss shivered slightly, not liking the idea of some creep lurking around just waiting to hurt or kill them all.

By the time the assembly was over, Naruto's mood had become rather dark. It was almost like there was a rain cloud over his head. "Kari-chan, when is your sensei going to show up?" He asked nervously.

"He should be here soon. Judging by the response I got from the locket, he was close when I sent the message." Kari said.

"Sensei?" Ruby asked as she overheard Naruto.

Itachi had stopped at the inn for the night. He had wanted to continue, especially since he could feel the amulet on his chest reacting to the one that he gave Hikari Starr from when he taught her but knew that it would be better to rest for the night. Tomorrow he would be able to make it towards the Academy...hopefully.

"The person Ozpin is hiring to help out is my old sensei. I contacted him just a little while ago, so he should be here sometime within the next day or so." Hikari explained. She wasn't quite ready to tell everyone that he was also Sasuke's brother.

((Aw, I was gonna play Itachi.))

"It sounds like you like this tutor of yours," Weiss stated. She could see that there was something else Hikari wasn't telling them but didn't call her out on it...at least not while in a public setting like this. She didn't want to fall back on old habits and was trying hard to change her opinions about people. First Hikari, then Ruby...maybe.

((Thanks. It's nothing huge, Wolfie just kinda wanted to play him. Plus, she felt guilty that you're playing a bunch of characters at once and she's only playing two.))

Hikari blinked. "Well...yeah. Ita-sensei was the first tutor I ever had, and the only one who ever stuck around. He helped me make my scissor blades. He's kind of like a big brother." She said, never once thinking that Weiss might have meant a different kind of liking.

(I see. Also, before I forget this weekend is Animazement. I would be going Friday as well, but I couldn't get it off. Baw. And what makes it worse is that I saw a Ruby Rose cosplayer on PreCon day and I didn't have my camera! >_<)

"I see...you must trust him a lot then," Ruby said after hearing Hikari talk about Itachi with such a caring tone. It sounded as if he was one of the few teachers that actually cared about teaching her, but she wasn't one hundred percent sure about that.

((Aw, damn! Wolfie saw like five Ruby cosplayers when she went to Anime Boston a few months ago. She only went for one day, but it was so much fun!))

Hikari nodded. "I do. He's kind of distant most of the time, and it can be mistaken for rudeness, but it's just because he's always thinking. When I was little, I used to ask him where he was, and he always said "in the clouds." It made me laugh. I guess that's why he said it." She said. She wanted them to know beforehand that Itachi wasn't going to be overly friendly, and that it wasn't because he was rude or anything.

(I usually take Friday off and go the whole weekend. I just couldn't do it this time sadly)

"Someone distant and always thinking, but not rude. I think we can work with that, right guys, ladies?" Areku asked curiously. He was glad that Ozpin left out the personal information, not wanting to get swarmed by people asking him questions, or even worse, fangirls due to what happened to his clan.

((Wolfie hopes to go for the whole weekend next year. She needs to save up money now, though.))

Naruto nodded and gave a thumbs up, glad for something to focus on besides his dismal past. "Totally, dattebayo! No worries, Kari-chan, any friend of yours is a friend of ours! We won't judge him unfairly, dattebayo!" He reassured.

"I agree with Foxy. Any friend of yours Hikari is a friend of ours," Yang replied with a grin on her face.

"I just hope he does a good job at what he's suppose to do while here,"Weiss said, being honest. She had heard stories about Itachi Uchiha...and wondered if he and this 'Sasuke' were related somehow.

"He will, Weiss-san. Itachi-sensei never does anything less than the best." Hikari said. Yes, she was being a bit defensive, but it was true.

((OMG Wolfie had an idea! [squee] Since Amaya currently doesn't have a beau, why not hook her up with Itachi?))

"Come on princess, give the guy a chance first before judging him," Amaya spoke up, also defending Hikari's teacher. If he was one of the few who taught Hikari no matter what it took, then she was at least going to give this 'Itachi-sensei' the benefit of the doubt when it came to protecting them.

((Yay, Wolfie had a good idea!))

Weiss huffed, but it was half-hearted. She knew the other girl was right, and she had judged too quickly. Again. "Fine. But he'll have to prove he's good before I trust him." She said stubbornly.

Kari sighed, knowing that was the best she would get out of the white-haired girl. Turning to Amaya, she smiled. "Thank you, Maya-chan. All of you. I appreciate your support." She said.

Naruto nodded as well. "That's pretty much it." He said, sealing the deal.

Hikari smiled. Already their team worked well together and even thought similarly. The were going to be a strong force, she could tell. "Thanks. Hey, we need to get to our next class." She said, realizing they had been standing around for a while.

Ark looked at the time before noticing that Hikari was indeed right before heading off with his team.

((Whoa...you gotta love cosplay groups! Want to skip again? Wolfie doesn't really know what to do now.))

(How about we skip to Itachi coming and then have Sasuke notice the interactions between Naruto and Blake? There's also more "dates" the two can go on like we did before)

Hikari was up early the next morning, waiting for her old tutor to appear. Truth be told, she hadn't slept much at all the night before. So instead she sat on her bed, polishing her scissor blades and doing some tuneups on them.
