Without another word, Hikari stood up and left the table. Her previous good mood was gone completely.

Naruto's jaw dropped. "Wait...what just happened here? Did I miss something?"

"I'm confused also..." Ruby said, wondering what just happened to cause Hikari to get up and walk out the door like that.

Areku wasn't sure what was going on, but he had a feeling that Amaya said or did something to piss Hikari off. Whatever it was, he didn't know, but he, too, got up and went after his new girlfriend.

Hikari went out to the small courtyard where they trained and pulled out her scissor blades, then proceeded to practice quite violently with them.

"Isn't it obvious? Someone said something that upset her. Probably Amaya-san, considering they were talking right then." Weiss observed.

"So...Maya-chan, what did you say?" Naruto asked.

"You aren't trying to kill an imaginary Amaya-chan, would you Hika-chan?" Areku asked as he came out to the courtyard. He didn't know what had happened between the two girls, but he was definitely going to get to the bottom of this. They were a team after all.

"I might have been a little upset when I called her by that name..." Amaya admitted with a light blush of embarrassment on her cheeks as she told Naruto what she said to their leader before she stormed off.

Hikari ignored him for a moment, just long enough to make it seem like she wasn't going to answer, then turned around. She was breathing harder than she really should have been, indicating either a lot of exercise, or holding back tears. "No, not really. Just beating her up. Her and...someone else." She said.

Naruto blinked, then his eyes widened. "You called her that? Maya-chan, why would you do that?" He asked, completely flabbergasted.

"I see...," Ark aid, hoping that it wasn't him that she was thinking of. Nodding to himself, he quickly wrapped his new girlfriend in a hug, having a feeling that she needed it.

"I wasn't thinking," she responded, still feeling bad about what she did. She knew it was wrong, but in the heat of the moment she hadn't cared...and now it had bit her in the ass.

Hikari dropped her weapon as Ark hugged her, and let herself cry. It took a while for her to calm down enough to talk. "She called me that name. Why would she want to hurt me like that?"

Naruto's ears lowered. "Well, as long as you didn't mean it, I'm sure she'll forgive you." He offered.

Weiss held up a hand. "Hold on, just wait a second. What are you guys talking about? You called her what name? And why did she react that way to it?" The heiress asked, part annoyed and part confused.

"Hikari-chan hates being called a certain name. I'm not going to tell it to you since I'm already on thin ice with her at the moment probably. I decided to be an idiot and call her that name," Amaya answered Weiss. And no Foxy-kun...I didn't mean it. I was just annoyed that they did that kiss mostly as a prank towards everyone. I thought Hikari-chan wanted to stay under the radar..."

"I'm sure she didn't mean to say it Hika-chan. Don't get me wrong, I'm mad at Amaya-chan too since you told her not to call you that the first time she accidentally did so. But we did become a couple that started as a kiss in the form of a prank. She probably took it the wrong way," Ark replied after she finished crying. He honestly wanted to believe that Amaya didn't mean anything by calling her 'Light-chan' and that it was just the heat of the moment.

Weiss pouted, hating not knowing something.

"Still, I wonder why that name in particular makes her so upset." Naruto said.

Hikari sniffled. "I know she didn't mean it. I just can't stand hearing that name..." She said.

"Why don't you ask her or her boyfriend before classes start? Yang asked as she saw Weiss pout from not knowing something, inwardly laughing. Hey, Weiss gave Ruby a ton of trouble, of course the older sister wanted to see the girl squirm...at least a little.

"I understand Hika-chan, I do," Ark whispered into Hikari's ear soothingly. He then thought of something. "After classes, why don't we head out into the City, see if we can find something to do? he asked, hoping to cheer her up. He also had a feeling that said classes were going to start soon and didn't think that she wanted to be late to Itachi-sensei's class. Then again...he felt as if the man was going to talk about him and his...affection towards Hikari sooner rather than later.

Weiss crossed her arms. "Fine, I will." She said petulantly.

"Hey guys, we should get to class." Naruto said, glancing at the clock.

Hikari nodded. "Okay, yeah. That sounds nice. Oh, class is soon...I'm sorry, I've almost made us late." She said, thinking about the fact that she hadn't eaten anything. She would have to wait until lunch.

"Just don't be disappointed if they don't say anything to you," Yang responded as she got up to deposit her trash and head off to class, knowing that her teammates would follow shortly. Not having met Itachi yet, she was curious about the class.

"I'll let it slide...this time," he joked, glad to see that she was feeling better before rummaging in his coat pocket for something. Before long, he took his hand out, holding an apple that was wrapped in a napkin. "I figured you'd be hungry. Here," he said before handing her the apple.

Once they reached the classroom, Hikari spotted the other half of their team and moved to sit with them, tugging Ark along with her. She was intercepted by Weiss.

"Hikari, your team mates wouldn't tell me, so I'm asking you directly. What is this name that you hate being called, and why?" She asked bluntly.

"Hey, that's not fair! You can't just ask her in front of everyone like that and put her on the spot, dattebayo!" Naruto protested, seeing Hikari's stuned reaction.

Weiss ignored Naruto and looked at Hikari. "Well? I'm waiting." She said impatiently.

Hikari's shock disappeared and was replaced with anger. "You can wait until the sky falls, and I still won't answer you. It is none of your business and you have no right asking, Weiss Schnee." She said heatedly, before shoving past the girl and going to her seat.

Itachi wasn't even in the classroom when everyone got there. In fact, class was about two minutes in before the male walked in, carrying a sword which he placed on his desk. "Welcome, students, to the very first Weapons Education class. I apologize for being late, but I had a few last minute things to take care of." He stopped in the center of the room and looked out at the class. It was impossible to tell that he couldn't see half of them. "As some of you know, I am Uchiha Itachi, and I will be your teacher from here on out. Now, I wish to start off by getting to know each of you, but not in the usual way. I want each of you to come to the front of the class, state your name and present your weapon. Tell us about it and why you use it. As you will learn, here and in life, you can tell quite a lot about a person by the weapon they wield. I will start." He turned and picked up the sword from earlier, then turned back to the class so they could see it. "This is my sword, Moon's Edge. I made this weapon when I was very young, and I have always used it. This blade was created using a bit of my own Aura, which I learned to master under the light of the full moon- hence the name. By activating my Aura, I can make this blade stronger and fill it with power, which I can use to cut things a normal blade cannot. If used on a beast, the blade can be used as an extension of myself, a conduit for my Aura which, as you all know, helps in the killing of a beast." He said. By way of example, he activated his Aura, which flowed into the blade and made it glow a silvery blue, like moonlight.

Amaya glared at the princess of Schnee Dust Company from her seat. She had started getting up from her seat in the back to apologize for her actions earlier before the whole conversation between the two happened. Knowing that it would be a bad time, she sighed lightly.

Ruby sighed lightly at the interaction between her partner and teammate and the leader of Team HANA and knew that she was going to have to do something before things got out of hand...again. The first time they got lucky, this time she knew she was going to have to nip it in the bud. And she couldn't ask her sister to do it for her; it would only make her look weak as a leader.

Once Itachi had finished his demonstration, he put the sword back down. "Now that you all have an idea of what I want you to do, it's your turn. Miss," He gestured to Amaya, "You'll be first. Please come up front and show us your weapon." He said.

Hikari watched attentively. This kind of introduction was different to say the least, and she was eager to see how everyone did.

Amaya nodded as she came to the front of the classroom, opening the clasp that held her two tonfas when she wasn't using them in battle. Once she got to the front, she let out a soft, almost inaudible, sigh before starting to speak."My name is Amaya Uzuino, part of Team HANA. These two weapons of mine took three years to complete through many hardships, as well as trial and errors. The name of these beauties is Kaze no Ryuujin and are named as such due to the fact that these can channel my Aura in order to shoot condensed blasts of wind at anyone it's aimed at," she said, keeping the story about her past and it's specialized shotgun mode a secret...for now at least. What? A girl had to have her secrets after all.

Itachi nodded. "Very good, Amaya-san, thank you. Next up is the boy over there, in orange." He said, gesturing for Amaya to take her seat.

Naruto stood up and walked to the front, pulling out his scimitar as he went. Standing in front of the class, he held up the blade for everyone to see. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and this is my weapon. It's a scimitar, and it's kind of old because it once belonged to my father. It's name is Lightbringer, and I've had it as long as I can remember. I've never fought without Lightbringer, and it's always served me well. It didn't used to do anything special, when I got it, but a few years ago I modified it so that there's Dust in the handle, for any element, and it's really helpful. Besides that, Lightbringer is just a part of me, dattebayo." He said.

It seemed like Itachi was going down the row of students, which would mean Ark was next. "Young man, you are next." He said, confirming this.
