Even more confused than ever, Hikari nodded. "Of course I do. I'd be a sad excuse for a Japanese person if I didn't. But what's that got to do with anything?" She asked.
Still laughing, Naruto shook his head. "She's not gonna make it easy for you, you know. Just tell her and get it over with." He said between chuckles. |
"With you as leader, our team name is HANA," Ark finally said, having a feeling that he was going to get teased for it by everyone. Well with Naruto, he could always tease him about the members on Team RWBY...

Hikari blinked slowly, then blinked again, the reached forward and smacked Areku on the back of his head. Not too hard, though. "You...are one strange man." She said.
Naruto fell backwards, renewed laughter making it hard for him to breathe. At least his new team was entertaining! |
Amaya found it amusing as well and couldn't help the burst of laughter that came from her lips. "You two are acting like an old couple..." she said before her laughter renewed at the blush that crossed over Ark's face.
'Okay...I deserve that,' Areku thought to himself before hearing the comments from everyone, blushing at hearing Amaya's. "Oi, Fox go date a cat or something," he replied before asking Hikari what she meant. |
Naruto tossed a pillow at Ark, still laughing. "Ah, go bite yourself." He countered good-naturedly. He didn't let on that he happened to know a cat, since they didn't know about Blake anyway.
Hikari chuckled. "I just mean that you're different. Most guys wouldn't think of something like that, never mind using it as a reason to give up leadership. It's just very...unexpected, I guess." She answered. |
"I think that's against the law," Areku said towards Naruto with a light chuckle, glad that everything was back to normal before responding to what Hikari said. "I've gotten that before, but it's just the way I think..."

Hikari shrugged. "I never said it was a bad thing. Just different. Actually, I think it's a good thing. One of your good attributes." She said, her smile hiding the tiny blush threatening to rise on her cheeks.

Amaya noticed the small tinge of pink that dusted their leader's cheeks and vowed to tease her about it lightly. Though...for some reason she was a little saddened about the fact that she had the tinge of pink on her face in the first place, but didn't know why.

Looking around, Hikari bit her lip and tried to decide what to do now. "Breakfast!" She shouted randomly, causing sweatdrops around the room. "Th-that is, we should all go get some breakfast now. And then maybe take a look around, or do some training...or something." She finished lamely. Crap, I'm already failing at coming up with ideas...
Seeing their leader's discomfort, Naruto decided to jump in and help. "Breakfast sounds awesome! We'll get dressed and then you can lead the way, oh respected leader!" He said, adding a bit of humor to make her laugh. |
"Breakfast sounds like a wonderful idea. And perhaps we can meet some of the other teams?" Amaya asked, hoping that they could befriend some people outside of their immediate team.
Breakfast sounds like a plan oh mighty leader," he said with a light chuckle. |
Hikari looked around, noticeably relieved. They were supporting her, even in her most pathetic attempts. Holding back happy tears, she smiled. "Okay, great. Let's get to it, then." She said.
Naruto jumped up. "I get the bathroom first!" He shouted, grabbing his clothes and running for the bathroom. At least the fox was good for a laugh. |
Areku chuckled lightly at what Naruto had said, lightly shaking his head in amusement. "At least things won't be boring here," he said once he got his laughter under control.

Hikari chuckled and nodded. "He's like a little kid." She said. She was glad that she ended up with this team.

"I've noticed that as well," Areku said before hearing water starting to run. He was glad to see that Hikari had calmed down when it came to her being the leader of Team HANA.

Hikari turned and started gathering up the things she would need for a shower. Soap, shampoo, clothes...check. "Does anyone mind if I go next? Or you could, I don't mind."

"You can go ahead and take a shower next Light-chan" Amaya said, not knowing about the taboo when it came to calling her that. "Besides...I want to talk to Areku for a bit," she added.

Hikari stiffened, then turned around, shooting a glare at Ark. "Why did you call me that? Did Ark put you up to it? It's not okay. Do not ever call me that again!"

"Woah woah woah, calm down girl. I didn't know and Ark didn't put me up to it, I swear!" she exclaimed, not realizing how much trouble she just got herself into. "I won't call you that anymore, jeez..." she added.

Hikari nodded, and headed for the bathroom just as Naruto came out. The door closed behind her, and locked.
"Whoa. What happened with her?" The fox asked, looking instantly to Ark. He seemed to know the girl better than the rest of them. |
Areku waited until he heard water going in the shower before answering the fox's question. "I learned real quick two things that Kari-chan hates. One is being put into the spotlight, due to her family and whatnot as you saw, which I can understand. There's another thing that she hates: Being called 'Light-chan'. Maya here called her that accidentally and she got pissed." he explained. "Though I do have to question you Naruto...why look at me first?"

Naruto shrugged. "You seem to know her better than the rest of us. It's like she likes you better or something. And I was right, you knew." He pointed out.

Areku thought about that for a few seconds...before he then suddenly threw a pillow at the Faunice.

Naruto laughed as the pillow hit him, and threw it back. "What was that for?" He asked, still laughing.

"Your logic. You make it sound like we're a couple or something," Areku replied.

Naruto crossed his arms. "Not for nothing, but you were teasing me nonstop before about two girls. What's wrong, you can dish it but you can't take it?" He teased.
