Elisa made her way over into the forges, looking around for Tony.
"Yeah?" Tony looked at her for a moment and shrugged. "Well, you can't tell from here." |
"That's why I'm not near the wall anymore," Clara pointed out. "It's better in here."
|
Tony nodded sympathetically. "Well, I can't say it'll be very relaxing in here for you, so shoo, before the others get titchy." He waved at a few of his co-followers and started to shoo her out of the forges, snagging Elisa and Clint on his way.
|
"The only place further away from the wall that I can get from here is the temple," Clara pointed out as she let Tony steer her out of the forges.
"Convenient," Clint said, grinning, "because I bet you anything that's where Bruce is." |
Tony grinned, waggled his eyebrows, and headed for the appropriate temple. Elisa hung back a bit, shaking her head at Tony's enthusiasm.
|
Clint just snickered and followed Tony. This would be good.
Clara hung back a bit as well, but still grinned and followed them. |
Tony bounced over into the temple. "Bruce~," he called, looking around for his friend.
Elisa waved Clara on in. "Someone has to keep an eye on him," she said with a little grin, staying outside. |
Bruce was sitting under a tree meditating. He opened one eye when he heard his friend.
"What is it, Tony?" he asked. Clara squeaked a bit as she was nudged forward. "Why me?" she asked, turning a bit pink. |
"I brought you a present," Tony said, heading over to him and dropping down in front of him. "Well, made you a present, really, kind of different from just bringing you a present."
"This is closer to your area, my temple is way over there," Elisa said. "Yours is right next door. Besides, you can keep track of him. I just start pinging him with seeds." |
This time, Bruce opened both of his eyes and looked at Tony.
"You made me something?" he asked. "Tony, you didn't have to do that, really." Clara just made a bit of a face, but slipped into the temple anyways to follow Tony. |
"I was bored," Tony said with a shrug, pulling the flask out and handing it to Bruce. "Should keep your tea warm for a while."
|
Bruce blinked.
"A flask?" he asked. He turned it over to examine the workmanship. Like all of Tony's work, it was very well made. "Thanks, Tony." |
"No problem. It was fun." Tony grinned and settled in there for a bit. "Even got to flick a few things at squirrel brain."
|
Bruce snorted.
"You shouldn't tease Clint like that," he said. "It could get you into trouble one day." |
"I know I shouldn't, but it's so fun, and he makes it so easy." Tony grinned. "And the girls popped in too, dunno what they're planning to do."
|
"Well, one of them followed you," Bruce pointed out with a slight smile. He gestured behind Tony to Clara.
|
Tony turned to look and then grinned. "Well, come sit," he told her. "Brucie doesn't bite." He grinned.
|
Clara crept a little closer to them at Tony's urging.
"I don't feel like I should be here," she ventured. "This isn't my temple." "It's alright," Bruce said. "You're not doing any harm." |
"They still let me this far in, and I'm much worse than you are," Tony said with a grin. "At least, according to everyone else."
|
"That's because the women like looking at your arms," Clara teased. Bruce couldn't cover a snort at that.
|
Tony just grinned and waggled his eyebrows.
"I know, I am rather perfect aren't I?" He was mostly teasing. |
By now, Bruce was snickering outright, and Clara had turned a bit pink.
"Nothing I can do about it," she retorted, grinning a little. |
Tony just grinned. "Alright, Bruce, up you get, you've been hiding in here for too long, you need food. You too." He looked at Clara. Because he was going to boss around as many people as he could manage.
|
Bruce snorted, but got up. Tony was right, he needed food. Clara raised an eyebrow.
"I ate not too long ago," she pointed out, just to mess with him." |
"Then come be social," Tony said. She wasn't getting out of it so easily. "We can grab the other two on the way."
