best anime mmorpg you've ever played?
My favourite was Divina, made it to lvl 60 before it became to multiplayer based because of dungeons. (im a solo player) Everything was amazingly done, graphics great, monsters interesting, good story line, not all monsters were auto attack. And free players could get mounts later on with a daily quest that wasn't too hard(the mount was a cute llama) It had good charater creation, and never gave my computer a single problem.
What's yours? |
I got into Grand Fantasia with a friend, It was pretty fun until my friend stopped playing and I kind of lost interest.
I also kind of got into MapleStory back in the day. |
Yeah I remember maplestory, but I got disinterested after a while, grand fantasia, I made it to lvl 34 and then lost interest
|
Same I never really made it past lvl 30 on both of those games.
|
yeah thats around the time where i lose interest
|
I think I've played a bit of a lot of mmorpgs but my favorite I guess would be Maplestory because in my opinion, it doesn't get old in the fact that you can play for like a month or so, get to lvl 120 or around there, leave for a bit and it's like a whole new game because of the new classes and events. That's just what I think though. :P
|
yeah I get what you're saying but MapleStory wouldn't download on my bloody retarded laptop so I played it once at a friends house
|
Legend of Dragoon for the Playstation (First) was I think the best anime MMORPG I have played. The story line was fantastic, the gameplay was amazing. It sucked you in from the start of the first siege (maybe an hour into it, depending on how fast you went)

I never played maplestory but I heard it is a great game I played it on Fb until they shut it down its very addictive and i wish i could have it on my Chromebook laptop :(

I really loved LaTale and WonderKing, but I think it is shut down now. MapleStory was a fun one, and I've tried WindSlayer too.

La Tale, Windslayer and Elsword
I really like side scrolling MMOs with pixel graphics. I liked Windslayer's and La Tales's PvP a lot and the community seemed rather nice, but sadly Windslayer closed down and Windslayer 2 doesn't seem like it is coming back. I like Elsword for its combo system and awesome character designs. I've played Maple Story ever since I was young, but the community has become worse over the years and there are way too many classes now. All of my friends stopped playing Maple Story since it was getting boring and some of them moved to private servers with the classic Maple Story, without the Big Bang update and stuff. I'm currently trying out Aura Kingdom (only started yesterday) and it's quite entertaining. |

Was a pain in the tuchus having to get my account unbanned because I was inactive. Mighty nice of them to TELL me. stupid jerks. [illgetu] |
My favorite was City of Heroes/ City of Villains.
I think the only reason that was my favorite though was because I got on and played with a lot of people (and at the time we were really good friends), and had a really good time. The only awkward part was I was the only girl amidst a bunch of guys. That really didn't bother me though, only because we were online. But yeah. And when they took the game down I literally cried. It made me really sad. |
I played Maplestory for a loooong time until my sister stopped playing, around the Big Bang update. I never got past level 100 though, I had too short of a character attention span.
|
I was a fan of Eden Eternal for a while. It was nice to have a system that allowed one to level up classes separately on ze same account/character, and pop back and forth between them.

I recall it being pretty neat. Haven't played in ages. if you do end up giving it a try, let me know, having someone to pal around with might be enough to get me to play it (or any MMO, really) again.

i've played pretty much every popular mmo under the sun but maplestory has a lot of nostalgic value for me so i guess that's really the only reason it's my favorite. quality wise? i think i'd say guild wars. i'm more of a solo player tho and guild wars forced me to find people to play with. luckily my dad quickly became addicted and we'd sit there and raid together at the kitchen table lmao.

I liked Eden Eternal, La Tale, and Mabinogi for awhile. I don't know if you'd consider FF14: A Realm Reborn an anime MMO but I mean it kinda is, I'd say it's the best I've played simply 'cause its more polished (and pretty) than most
I've played nearly every MMO that's been out and excluding anime styled ones, I'd say Lord of the Rings Online is my numero uno, but I also give Rift credit just because of their awesome Free-to-Play setup |
I was really into Mabinogi and Maplestory! I stopped playing Mabinogi because it stopped being interesting to me; the whole having to do work every in game day was really boring. I also didn't want to use the cash shop. :P
I can't tell you how much money I've thrown into Maplestory; I played that when I was like... 13 or 14, and I was really interested in the awesome cosmetic items they had in the cash shop. Needless to say, I would've been in the news story that documented kids who stole their parent's credit card to buy virtual items in Maplestory. :P |
