3 January: I won a prize in an avatar contest [boogie]

4 January: Our Bloomin' Garden [boogie]

We, a few months ago, decided to make some additions to our garden. When I was walking outside today, I realised that they had all bloomed without me noticing!

Plants never cease to amaze me. Did you know that they can sing aswell? Not joking.

5 January: Today I watched Fiddler on the Roof [boogie]

I have a intense love for musicals, instrumental music and old movies. Put them all together and well. I end up like this [drool]
The movie revolves around Tevye, a staunch Jewish man, and his family who live in a Tsar-ruled Russia.

I thought That I would share a few of my favourite songs from the movie

7 January: The Menewsha Minute and My Exam Results [boogie] [gonk]

Today is a double whammy of important memories.

To begin with the good news:

My article entitled "All the Fine Feathered Cannibals" got published in Mene's first ever tabloid!
This is epic for me because I'm always a little nervous about my writing and seeing it somewhere makes me feel a little good about it.
The article along with all the other brilliant ones can be read here!

And now the not-so-good news:

My exam results came out today and while I did pass, I didn't manage to achieve the pass that I wanted. The results are:
English- 86%
Physical Sciences- 47%
Mathematics- 62%

I needed a 70% in maths and atleast a 50% in physics but...
I am actually feeling a bit crushed as I'm writing this, but I know I shouldn't bottle things up like I always do so I'm forcing myself.
I know very well that I worked hard, but I could have done better. I also know very well that this, like everything, happened for a reason. That's how God works, he's mysterious like that. So I'm going to put full faith in him and find other ways to get where I want to be. My family isn't disappointed in me so I have to try and not be disappointed with myself. But, it's very hard...
I know what to do, tough. Cry a little bit today, go to sleep, wake up, etc.

On an unrelated note:
