Woohoo! It shouldn't be too busy at work today! I see another excellent theme has been added to the list. [eager]

I do love the idea of adding pictures to the themes. Especially the ones like the festivals which are more specific and many people may not know about. The only thing is, it may be better to add pictures to the ones we've narrowed down for public voting, because, whoa nelly do we have a LOT of stuff on the front page right now. However, we could definitely start bringing pictures into this thread now to be used later. That way we have something to do for the next two ish weeks.

Yep, something to do whilst waiting for time to go by.
We may find more inspiration with nice art/pic too along the way~

*ponders* I think I shall bring my sketch book with me to tutoring today. Maybe if some of my kids are late, I can get some drawings in for this stuff. Won't be able to color it, but I can definitely at least get the sketch work in.

also, we have our first contributor! BellyButton! I added a contributors list onto the budget post, and I'm going to try to keep contributions floating in a trade between myself and my mule until we get the NPC. That should keep me from spending the golds. [lol]

I really want to get theme tunes for different themes! Just background movie style tunes! Would it best to link any or put them in a you tube insert?

I would say hold onto the EIs and CIS and donate them... I think they're more interesting to get as prizes than gold would be.

As far as voting goes, I'm not allowing mules to vote in the initial vote. Otherwise, I'm not prohibiting anyone who wants to vote, regardless of whether they've been a part of the planning or not. I doubt we'll have many voters in the narrowing down period who aren't involved, but I'm not going to throw out nonparticipant votes.

I would say that links would be best. That way people can choose whether to click through or not. I personally hate clicking into a page all unawares and being pounced by a video or audio clip.

Yes that way we can say no one has been excluded in any of the voting, it is people choices to be keen on this enough to subscribe and check in and know that we are voting. So it truly is a event for the people, by the people! [illgetu]

I'm a tutor and a substitute teacher. So on weekends I tutor a whole bunch of high school kids.

Yay for BellyButton! I'm hoarding contributions right now on my mule. Easier for me to work things out that way. :)
And yes, I HATE sounds. Also, I always have my computer volume set to "off" unless I'm intentionally wanting to listen to something, so I would never hear it anyway. :)

Well =o I don't want to go all out on one theme and it's not chosen lol XD and I just feel absolutely terrible if I just give you guys quick sketches with stick figures.

Lol, I'm not going all out, either. It took me ten minutes to make. I'm not even sure I'm going to color it. Here, let me show you it so far. It definitely needs some cleaning up at the least.

Haha, yeah. It's small, and chibis are fairly simple. But there are things I need to fix, like I just noticed that her left hand isn't finished, haha. And I didn't have an eraser so her hair needs to be cleaned up. I really would like to color her, though color isn't my strong suit. And thank you for the compliment! :)
