She's just got these tiny petite hands. But I could be over exaggerating since I've got spider hands. Seriously huge fingerspread.

zigbigadorlube 02-14-2014 04:34 PM

I'd say my hands are pretty average. My fiancé has pretty long, narrow fingers though...

Cora 02-14-2014 04:35 PM

My fingers are fat and short xP

~LONGCAT~ 02-14-2014 04:47 PM

I kinda want to start burning the other candle now. [ninja] but we have like 8 half burned candles sitting around XD

zigbigadorlube 02-14-2014 06:21 PM

I don't have any candles to burn unfortunately. I have a wax melter thingie but I don't have a free place to plug it in...

~LONGCAT~ 02-14-2014 07:42 PM

Actually just cleaned out the room and tossed out 5 dead candles, all in glass jars and either had too much dust and feathers for them to be safe to burn again or they were down to the nubbins.
Like I said, he likes to burn candles. XD

zigbigadorlube 02-14-2014 07:43 PM

I hate when it gets to the bottom and you can't burn the rest of the wax out.

~LONGCAT~ 02-14-2014 09:48 PM

Happens to us all the time! Mostly our fault because we forget about them, or it's the jar's fault for not being a cool enough jar to save. These ones look like some boiling water will save them when it's down to nubbins.

zigbigadorlube 02-14-2014 10:12 PM

Sometimes I save the jars as well. It's a lot of work to get the wax out of them though...

jellysundae 02-18-2014 10:43 PM

Boiling water is the way, as Long says. Melts the wax and makes the clean up process a whole lot easier. Unless, of course, the water makes the glass crack. ><

zigbigadorlube 02-18-2014 11:10 PM

I've tried boiling water but it always seems to leave a bit of residue...

Cora 02-18-2014 11:26 PM

Freeze them. That's how I get my candles out ^.^

zigbigadorlube 02-18-2014 11:28 PM

Hrm, how long does that take?

Cora 02-18-2014 11:29 PM

A day or two usually.

Freezing them usually allows the candle to be plucked out more easily.

zigbigadorlube 02-18-2014 11:35 PM

I'm not sure that would work for the type of candle I usually use.

Cora 02-19-2014 12:39 AM

What kind of candle is it?

zigbigadorlube 02-19-2014 12:57 AM

I used to get most of mine from Home Interiors...

Cora 02-19-2014 01:21 AM

It should work on those.

zigbigadorlube 02-19-2014 01:36 AM

I wondered if maybe because the top of the jar is usually smaller than the bottom if you would have a hard time getting it out.

Cora 02-19-2014 01:01 PM

It will loosen up, then you just break the hard peices, they'll become brittle.

zigbigadorlube 02-19-2014 01:23 PM

Ah, ok. I'll have to give that a try sometime.

Cora 02-19-2014 01:39 PM

Hopefully I was helpful ^.^

zigbigadorlube 02-24-2014 08:12 PM

Any updates Long? Still burning that first candle or are you on the second one now?

Cora 02-24-2014 08:17 PM

I just got my candles today!

zigbigadorlube 02-24-2014 08:21 PM

Ooh, what'd ya get?
