Mordecai laid down, and went to sleep.

Athena woke early the next morning and put on a low cut really short dress and put her hair up. She stared at herself in the lake then went back embarrassed.

Mordecai looked at her. "You sure you won't become my queen?"

Athena gave him a glare " Do not test me." she growled letting Barthy place her sidesaddle on her horse " I feel ridiculous."

" Oh they'll try plenty and you'll let them." Athena grumbled " I can handle them." the reached the mansion by noon. " Athena third level demon mage." she told the guard " Bartholomew demon." Barthy chuckled.

"Mordecai. King."he said

Xhast, Demon lord of the forest." He said

" They are expecting you." The guard lead them in were a group of old men sat around a table one young man sat at the table Athena tugged her dress when she saw him frowning. " My lords." She curtsied " Athena it has been to long." one of them rose and kissed her hand " You brought are new king as well." he glanced at Mordecai " I am Kevin head of the council of mages."

"I am Mordecai, New King, and Head Tracker of the Warders. It is a pleasure to meet you all ."he said, bowing.

" Come sit lets us talk of what you come here for." Kevin sat down there was only one seat and Athena bristled slightly knowing what they wanted her to do she stood instead " Your majesty." she offered him the chair with a soft smile holding in her anger she had to play there games or they would dismiss them without a second thought.

Mordecai sat down, leaning forward. Xhast was staring around, and started whispering a plan to barthy. "you wanna know what I think?"

" I always want to know." Barthy grinned.

" So what can we help you with?" Kevin asked

" We need to take out the demons that are invading." Athena said scowling when he ignored her.

"I'm building an Army. The Blade-Masters, and the Warders stand ready. I do, however, Need the Mages Guild to assist in this matter. As Athena said, A Demon Horde is on the march here. "he said.

" hmm." Kevin pondered " What do you offer for are help?" his gaze went to Athena who smiled sweetly.

"I give you a choice. "He said. "You can fight for the place you were born, or die here alone. "He stood up, and walked in the middle of the whole council, unafraid that they could all vaporize him. "The Blade-Masters, Warriors of the sword, return to fight for the land that Exiled them. The Archon of the Mages Council, at Fort Dawn-Bringer, are willing to put aside their differences with the Warders, My people, and fight this threat. We call for your aid, it is your choice whether you accept it. Or would you rather be left to die, when the horde reaches here?" He said.

" They will not reach here." Kevin chuckled " oh don't be an idiot old man." the younger man spoke up " Be silent Simon." " no we should fight for are land, for are mages, for the king." Simon snapped Kevin looked to Mordecai " Will you promise to leave the mages in peace so long as we do nothing against the law?"

"I am Making a Council, Consisting of Each Faction. Fight for me, and you'll have a place there, giving you Governance over the land. If I'm going to Run this Kingdom, I'm going to need to Support of every faction. Not just from the Major guilds, but the minor ones too : The Smiths, The Mercenary's, The Merchants, and the Craftsmen's Guild. "he said.

'' Very well." Kevin nodded " We will protect the lands from the demons " You may take Simon with you he is still young enough to be of help." Kevin chuckled and stood " if that is all." he kissed Athenas hand lingering there " Perhaps you would like to sleep here and head out in the morning." Athena tried hard not to flinch " that is up to the king."

"As much as I would like to, I'm afraid we don't have the time. "he said, trying to save Athena.

" Oh do stay." Kevin smiled his lips drifting up her arm " We don't have the time my lord." Athena ground out ready to punch him in the face.

Kevin swallowed " No my lord." he said holding his hand up to the other old mages who had stood. Athena rubbed her arm grossed out. " Come on." she said walking off Simon followed her shaking his head then Barthy joined them sighing

" There something else." Simon sighed " You alright Athena?" " Soon as I scrub my skin off I will be." Athena huffed " You look great though." Simon blushed. Athena looked at him and gave him a smile "thanks."

You heard screams coming from a Casem. Mordecai looked down. "That usual?" he asked.
