Athena pulled away "I'm still not being queen."

"Don't need you too be."he said to her.

"Good." Athena stood and offered him her hand heading back to the horses "You two have fun?" Barthy asked raising his eyebrow.

"Maybe."he said, kissing Athena, and helping her on her horse.

Athena turned a dark pink color. "Well we didn't had to wait for you two." Barthy huffed "That Yukina girl went off with many thank yous."

"Hope she enjoys freedom."he said. "Sierra gave her life to spare her. Hope she makes it worth it."he said.

"I hope so to." Athena smiled "Wait...when did our horses get here?" she frowned remembering they had walked.

"Probably Barthy and Xhast while we were 'resting' "he said

Athena blushed brighter and urged her horse forward gaining speed quickly.

"ATHENA WATCH OUT!!l"Mordecai jumped in front of her, as two arrows struck him in the chest. He fell backwards, into the rapids of the river, and floated fast out of sight.

"MORDECAI." Athena pulled her horse to a stop "We'll deal with the shooter you go save the king." Barthy vanished as Athena urged her horse downstream.

Mordecai managed to get the two arrows out, but before he ccould heal them, he was knocked unconscious. Everything then went black.

Athena spotted his floating form and dove in pulling him to shore using her magic to fight against the current. "LIVE!" she slapped his chest hard she didn't have the power to heal him and Lori was miles away. "Please." she squeezed his hand.

He was unconscious, bleeding, but still breathing....barley.

"Oh thank goodness." Athena squeezed her eyes shut "I summon Lori." she whispered and then yelped as Lori landed next to her hair a mess. "Never portal me again." Lori huffed and fixed Mordecai. "Your hands." she gasped taking Athena's torn hands. "There fine just cut them on the rocks and well I had to coax the water to give him over so I let them have my blood." she sounded disorientated.

"God dammit, ow...."he said, trying to stand.

"Stay still." Both girls ordered him then laughed. Lori healed her hands "I can't get the scars to go away." Athena shrugged "I'll just wear gloves."

"Scars are sexy."Mordecai said.

Athena and Lori snorted "For guys maybe." Athena rubbed her hands "Though they might go unnoticed there so small."

Mordecai grabbed her hand, and kissed it.

Athena blushed softly and smiled at him.

"Now, can I get up?"he asked

"Alright but slowly." Athena stood and offered him her hand.

Mordecai took her hand, and stumbled up. "God, my head hurts...."he said, rubbing his head, which was bleeding in the back.

"I got it." Lori healed it sighing softly. "Honestly you two."
