"Wait." Athena called hurrying after him Lori close behind.

Mordecai lit a torch, and looked around. The cave felt...odd.

Athena took his free hand in hers frowning softly. "Somethings not right."

"This place feels....familiar. "Mordecai said, while walking through a Marble-laced hallway.
"It should. This leads to my Dark Palace. "Xhast appeared, and opened a Doorway. it lead into a Meadow, which lead to a Large, Brimstone and Cement Fortress in the Horizon. He opened the Door, and you saw a Lavish Estate, filled with things that would make anyone feel rich and powerful, and artifacts that would make mages drool. |
"Lets not go in." Athena tugged Mordecai short frowning softly as she glanced at the mansion "I've been in a demons home once and I will never do it again."

"you can come in, it's just won't remember how to get here again."he said.

"Let's go Mordecai." Athena tugged him back towards the cave.

"Know this: As long as you are here, I cannot harm you. By Honor of the Contract made between Me and Mordecai, I cannot harm you unless you inflict harm on me, or my human. "he said. "Also, I'd rather not start a War with Barthy. He doesn't fight fair, and plus he always blow up my most important gear. "He said.

Barthy chuckled from the shadows "That's because it's fun to not fight fair." he smiled at Athena "What's really wrong." "You know what." Athena glared at him "Oh right that don't worry he doesn't have any of those." barthy grinned "That's what you said last time." Athena hissed crushing Mordecai's hand.

"Doesn't have any of what?"he asked
"I agree, what the hell are you talking about?"he asked |
"Nothing." They both answered at the same time then looked at each other then quickly away Athena looked horrified and Barthy was grinning.

"I Think she is-" "Didn't you have some of those?" "Used too, but they were a pain in the ass, so I destroyed them." |
"I don't care what he says I'm going." Athena marched back the way she had came Lori hurrying after her.

Mordecai ran after her. "What's wrong, Athena? Did I do something?"he asked

"Look I just never want to set foot in a demon castle again not after last time." Athena grimaced "You go ahead we'll wait with the horses."

"I can step in there at any time, perks of being connected to him. Right now, I want to continue on our quest. "he said. " I have a location in mind, if you feel up to it. It's the old Tower of Magi. "he said, pulling up a map. " There hasn't been anyone in that tower for almost a thousand years. "he said, tapping on it's spot on the map.

"No more plans lets just explore." Athena sighed "That's more fun."

"Okay, you lead, I'll follow. "he said to her.

"Good." Athena lead the way chuckling.

Mordecai followed her, talking with Xhast about random crap: Best uses for A Demon's heart in Stave making, and how to take over different countries, with only a handful of men.

"Anyone else notice that the girls our gone." Barthy remarked nonchalantly.
