Since we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here it was pretty much the same as every other day. xD

Thanksgiving isn't celebrated here either. Since it's not exactly a religious festival I don't think the Christians celebrate it either.
Apart from Independence Day, Republic Day there aren't many festivals of ours that are actually based on history, or were generated for the heck of it like National Sleeping Day (not sure which country has that [lol]). Most are based on mythology and religion, but the harvest season is celebrated too.

I'd love to have a National Sleeping Day as an official holiday. [XD]

salvete 11-30-2014 10:35 PM

That would be so nice *o*

Antagonist 12-01-2014 02:37 AM

Yeah...a day just for sleeping/relaxing...[lol]

salvete 12-01-2014 02:41 AM

I probably would use that day to catch up on work, but yesh, would still appreciate the holiday!

Antagonist 12-01-2014 02:45 AM

I need the extra day of sleeping. [gonk]

salvete 12-01-2014 02:46 AM

Okay! ^_^ You can spend your National Sleeping holiday however you want ~

Dandelioness 12-01-2014 03:52 PM

I love sleeping [drool]
I like it better than living. Or surviving or whatever I'm being compelled to do [gonk]

MoodyBats 12-01-2014 04:02 PM

I dun like sleeping.
I sleep too much already and miss out on things. [gonk]

Can't, it's not an official national holiday. Yet. [gonk]

SuperZombiePotatoe 12-01-2014 05:19 PM

I'm on the bench with sleeping. Like, I'd love to sleep less and be totally okay. I'd get so much more done! And I find that I function better at night, but then I'm tired during the day [XP]
But, when I do sleep or sleep in it's just so [drool]

Antagonist 12-02-2014 02:42 AM

I'd like to sleep in and not have to worry about obligations and everything. xD
I'm also a total night owl and function horribly in mornings. xDD;;

Dandelioness 12-02-2014 10:38 AM

I can't really sleep once I'm awake [cry]
And it's really annoying but if I sleep during the day, if it exceeds an hour I wake up and have a headache for the rest of the day.

MoodyBats 12-02-2014 01:24 PM

Depending how many hours I slept
if I wake up sometimes I go right back to sleep but lately I wake up and lay in bed but can't sleep anymore
so then I get out of bed.

Antagonist 12-03-2014 08:09 AM

I'm getting worse and worse at getting up before 12pm...got up at 4:30pm today. >.>

Dandelioness 12-03-2014 03:36 PM

Ant that is so awesome! [rofl]
Now I notice this emoji looks like it's slipping slightly in and out of an invisibility field [zzz]
So cute OwO

MoodyBats 12-03-2014 03:46 PM

I woke up later today. But maybe by an hour and 30 minutes.
I still got up around 6am. [boogie]
I love waking up super early.

Bad news though today is it is now 9 days before my birthday
and mother nature gave me an early birthday present.
Not one I would like.
if only I could send it back. [gonk]

Dandelioness 12-03-2014 04:22 PM

Fuu-Chan, Happy Birthday in advance! [boogie]
... my slow mind does not get it. Too subtle. [sweat][ninja]What did mother nature give you?

MoodyBats 12-03-2014 04:31 PM

Thank you.
And my period.

salvete 12-03-2014 04:33 PM

I think it is a good gift for people who plan to have children someday. ^_^

True. But that day isn't for a long while for me Dx
So until that day It tortures me with pain. [gonk]

Dandelioness 12-03-2014 04:55 PM

Oh I know just how you feel Fuu-Chan!
My period kills me. I really can't see myself having children some day either but maybe 10 years from now I'll suddenly welcome the idea of being responsible for someone other than myself. (I dunno though, being responsible for nobody else is so freeing.)
Personally, having a banana every day of my period, and buttermilk, helps. With cramps as well as steadying the flow.
(I hope I don't have to go O_o because of the last sentence?)

I can see myself having kids as I do want them.
Just need to have a stable job, relationship etc.
I do not want to have a kid with a guy who is gonna run when someone ends up pregnant. e.e

I just ate soup and that helps.
And I think the coffee helped too.

Dandelioness 12-05-2014 02:47 PM

Fuu-Chan your avi is great [heart]
Yeah, my mom says our generation has problems with commitment and that's screwing everything up but I don't think it's just our generation.
Hope you feel better quick [hug]
