User Event Art Auction-THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING, WINNING BIDS ANNOUNCED
Welcome to the Desert Winds Caravan- Artist Auction! This auction was made in order to raise money to fund our User-Run event of 2014. The artists taking part are giving up to 3 slots for you to bid and receive artwork that is similar to the pieces they provide on their website or DA account. The auction will open up March 1, at 9pm CST and end on March 8, at 9pm CST. For a clock to see what time it is now, click here. Auction Rules *Use bidding form for whichever artist you are bidding on. *No mule bidding, main accounts only please. *No editing bid posts. *No bids will be accepted before auction start time, nor after auction end time. *Bid increment of 50G please. *If the artist wanted to do more than one piece for the auction, then you will have the option to bid on the colored slot, or the sketch/lineart/minimal colored slot. If the artist has more than 1 lineart slot, then if you would like to take both slots, you'll have to mention it in your bid post, and your bid will be matched for that 2nd lineart slot. *Pure and items will be accepted, however items are only accepted at current average market price or current shop price. *Payment is due within 48 hours of auction end. Send a trade to steelmagghia, with the name of your artist won + winning bid amount, and your payment due. If you do not send a trade within 48 hours, the next highest bidder will be named the winning bidder. Each artist will contact their winner and will have 2 weeks to finish the piece you ask for. *Chatting is welcome in between bids. |
FAQ's What happens if my artist does not contact me after the auction? If it's only been a few days, give them some time. If it's been more than 1 week since the auction has ended, please contact steelmagghia or clariusflorina and we will work out a solution. Can I bid for more than 50G at a time? Yes, whether it is 50, 100, 200, 750, etc... As long as it is divisible by 50. If I plan on using an item as part of my payment, do I mention it in my bid? No, you're bids will be in gold. Once it is time to pay, then however much the item is worth will be deducted out of the total gold you have to send in the trade to steelmagghia. What if the item I want to use as payment is worth more than the current average MP price? Rather than working out how much every item should be worth, and people accidentally thinking their item is worth less or more than we think, it's simpler just to go with the average market price. If you don't agree with the price, than only offer what you can pay in pure. Can I bid on more than one spot at a time? Yes! But keep these things in mind: -only the top spot is guaranteed color still -if you're going to bid for two slots, you have to bid over the current bid price for each spot -you have to tell us WHEN you're bidding that you're bidding for two spots. |
