First of all, hello and welcome to my Roleplay Search! :)

I am always looking for roleplays, BUT I am sort of picky about my partner. (read on)

Here are my personal rules;

No text speak or 1337 speak; That irritates the crap out of me.

Spelling and Grammar must be decent. Coherent, cohesive thoughts.

At least a paragraph; I 'd like something to work with. I've carried roleplays by myself before and I took a long break from it because of it. I'd like to avoid that! :D

Lastly; an OOC thread. Where we can talk about what we might want to do; or questions that come up.

These are some story lines that I've thought of;

Masked Fighters-
So Magic masks basically. You have Masters who train them, and such. The users are kinda... Given a mask at their birth. The mask has a personality and thoughts, (much like The One Ring), and has magic.

Moon and Sun.
Basically one person is the "moon" and one is the "sun". Whenever the two find each other a tattoo of the moon appears on one person's body, and on the other person a tattoo of the sun appears on the same place.

Mages Rebellion
The world has fallen into a fear society, fear based around magic. Magic users are being publicly executed, should they show any signs of "black magic".
However, over zealous Crusaders are executing any mage they happen to come across, soon leading the mages to rebel against the Crusaders.
That's when a Crusader sees the zealotry of his/her order and starts to stand up for the Mages who are doing good (healers, enchanters). And one day gets wounded by a fellow Crusader, and in a desperate measure, goes into the 'poor' side of town where a Mage happens to have a free clinic set up for the poor.
And that's where their adventures begin!
(this can be slightly morphed to where there are 2 crusaders and 2 mages (should we decide to double pair)

Aether Crystal Plot (Steampunk)
Someone has stolen one of the Aether crystals (which give off endless supply of energy). Set in a steampunk apocalyptic universe, a band of Pirates set out to find the stolen crystal and sell it on the black market, unless the rightful country can outbid the black market bidder. With the crystal in the hull, the pirates sail around (in their airship) and find the highest bidder.

All the while the Captain is beginning to feel guilty. Without the crystal, people are succumbing to a sickness brought on by the lack of pure air, given by the Aether Crystal. And when he/she orders the turn around to give back the crystal, their crew stages a mutiny and abandons the Captain who has to find their way back to the mainland (which they do) and is picked up by a Vigilante / Outlaw.
And after a few bumps, bruises and brawls, they go search for the Aether Crystal

Kill to Live [A Vampire RP]

My name is Cassandra Frost. In 250 BC there was a disease that ravaged my small village. I was the only survivor. My body had managed to adapt to this new disease and because of it I was not able to eat normal human food, but drink the blood of others. I grew fangs to penetrate their skin and the disease had made me immortal to time and age. I was able to pass this gift to a few people who had proven themselves to me and in them I created a family. Today... The term is "Vampires." We extinguish the evil and corrupt and only want to make ourselves known and respected. It is only right and fair.

The Frost Family is honor-bound, driven by respect, loyalty, and intelligence. Frost family members hold their heads high without being snobbish, usually are the taller, more elegant family. They speak multiple languages, given they are usually the diplomats in situations, as well as brilliant generals.

500 Years later, 4 more vampire families popped up; Each with different beliefs and some have different looks;

Kazoku Family; Very Honor driven, you disgrace one person, you disgrace the whole Kazoku family and is punishable by death; Criminal Mortals are fair game, consuming an innocent mortal is punishable by death; highly intellectual, speaks Japanese as a main language (and English as a second), has rituals for everything.

Frendier Family; Survival of the fittest, the strongest of vampires are here, the quickest of killers are here; but none are stupid. Fend for yourself and Criminals are fair game; consuming an innocent mortal is punishable by death.

Telutha Family; Voodoo Tribalistic family. They punish themselves if they consume an innocent life, Criminal Blood makes them delusional and they under-go hallucinations and experiences of the blood; They dream more lucidly than other families; they also tattoo themselves with various markings (from the hallucinations, their dreams? No one knows) Committing an evil act (killing in cold blood, mortal or immortal) is punishable by death.

Castat Family- Violent, devil-may-care attitude, this family takes what they want, turn who they want, consume who they want. They are morbid and torture their victims before consuming them; everyone is fair game. The leader can vary from century to century, from being challenged by vampires in the family.

and the last, where it is not a family, it is still a worry;

The Blood Fiends; these things used to be vampires; but centuries underground and with no other contact have de-evolved them into mindless, blood-thirsty fiends who consume everything whole.

Mortals can still apply.



Magician's Life [ 1 / 6 ]

This is a letter that you, magicians have received in your mailbox, along with a date, time, and place to meet the famous "Witch". You don't know how she found you, or maybe you do, but in the end, she has found you and a few others worthy to teach her tricks of the trade.

Dear Boss,
I keep on hearing the police have caught me but they wont fix me just yet. I have laughed when they look so clever and talk about being on the right track. That joke about Leather Apron gave me real fits. I am down on whores and I shant quit ripping them till I do get buckled. Grand work the last job was. I gave the lady no time to squeal. How can they catch me now. I love my work and want to start again. You will soon hear of me with my funny little games. I saved some of the proper red stuff in a ginger beer bottle over the last job to write with but it went thick like glue and I cant use it. Red ink is fit enough I hope ha. ha. The next job I do I shall clip the ladys ears off and send to the police officers just for jolly wouldn't you. Keep this letter back till I do a bit more work, then give it out straight. My knife's so nice and sharp I want to get to work right away if I get a chance. Good Luck.

Jack The Ripper cannot be found, by the police nor the ametuer sleuths that walk around London, hoping to put this murderous person behind bars.

Perhaps you can start an investigation on your own? It is possible.

But just like any good detective, there also needs to be the bad guys, the men who take it upon their own shoulders to make sure, that Jack the Ripper stays loose in the streets.

In that instance, every second is a step closer to him, Saucy Jack needs your help in staying away from the police!

Make sure that they don't get close to Saucy Jack, or it could be the end of him!

Mount Olympus [Greek RP] [1 / ? ]

It is in present day Greece that we begin, in the town of Litochoro at the base of Mount Olympus. Things are about as usual as always, and nothing seems out of the ordinary for most residents. At the local hotel, just a few blocks from the towns main square sits a grand hotel by the name of 'Olympus Mediterranean', this beautiful hotel seems to be quite the hot spot for tourists and the like, but for this summer, it will be home to a large group of kids in high school and college alike. There is an event going on supporting the education of these self-same kids from any number of backgrounds and from all over the world, they are traveling from country to country to learn of the history in each place they go... little do these particular kids know what fate has in store for them here...

What they are not aware of, is that they are all the reincarnations of some of Greece's most famed mythological characters, Gods, Godesses, and the like.. and they are finally back home..

(Genders do not have to be the same, but they do have to have similar personality traits)

If you guys want to RP with me, I need a sample of how you guys roleplay. That will determine if I deem you are a suitable partner. :)

As a sign of respect; here is an example of how I post when it's an original story;

Larien Telemnar became frustrated with the fussying of everyday activities within the past week. This "ball" was a diplomatic meeting. A meeting of the races. Trying to get the Vampires and other races united. The Princess scoffed when she peered down from her window and watched as her father, the King of Vanguard Mountain, rode out on his horse, along with his personal guards to the river in which they would meet the Vampiric diplomats. It would take several hours for the king to get to the river, so at least they would get there by nightfall.

"At least Father has good timing on his 'Kingly Duties'." She scoffed. As of late, Larien and her father were not on good terms. He had missed several occasions to which meant a lot to Larien, but he paid her no mind. "As usual." She muttered.

She was not looking forward to meeting her "Bodyguard" that her father hired for the "Ball".

The Castle was being tidied, and the farmers were picking their freshest crops. Ladies of the Courts were coming in from all over, hopeful to win Larien's friendship... All of them frauds. She couldn't trust anyone.

She hissed slightly whenever she saw the Elves of the South arrive. Uppity aristocrats. She could only stand so much of "politics" before she got angry with all the backstabbing and secrecy.

But, she was to appear at this "Ball". Apparently it was time for Larien Telemnar to find a suitor (or two, according to her mother, who gave her an assuring wink every time she said this) and hopefully wed by the time of the next Summer Solstice.

She groaned again thinking of marriage. Being tied down to a man she would most likely grow to hate due to being forced to be married.

She sighed again and plopped on her bed. Her illuminating strawberry blonde hair fraying out like a fan across her bed, she sighed again.

She just wanted a real man. Someone who would protect her, someone who she could trust with her secrets, someone to share her thoughts to... Someone she didn't have to play politics with.

But there was no such man.

"Not on this bloody continent, that's for sure."




And here is how I post when it's a fandom;

Brynolf stared and stared at the same scroll for hours. His eyes hurt and his eyes were tired, not to mention his whole body was tired.

The thieves guild had been badly shaken up the past few weeks, being robbed by a man of their own cloth, so to speak, and then their 'luck' being down because they were under a deal of a Daedric prince.

Everyone was tired and their moral was slowly going up, Alduin had been destroyed by their very own Estina; The Dragonborn.

Brynolf was secretly proud that they had interested the Dragonborn and tried not to show it, but sometimes it happened.

He always gave her the harder jobs, the jobs with extra tight security, insane locks that she needed to pick, but somehow, he thought she enjoyed a challenge, in her own mind.

Frejya cheered to herself as she struck down another Dwemer ruin bot. "Take that you Dwemer piece of-"

She always got over confident after a tough kill and that's when she noticed she was bleeding.

Several days she had been down here, and she was starting to run out of food. Her stomach grumbled and she rummaged through her pack for something, she knew food would make her feel better, but not a whole lot, and she had run out of potions because she didn't stock up on them at the alchemists shop in- Gods, what was that cities name?

She shrugged it off, she traveled so much she remembered what city she was at when she was there, but always forgot it when she left. She never had a reason to stay.

Her past had always caught up with her, even in the middle of the night in a town that was what she thought, in the middle of no-where.

There was nothing but apples and cheese.

She grumbled to herself again and took an apple and ate it, while putting away her Daedric Bow. Out of all the things she had let go of, she could never let go of her bow. She had torn several hearts out of Daedric beings, either for the amusement of all of the Princes, or because they had tried to kill her, more than a few times.

She sighed and began to limp further into the ruins, hoping to find a way out.

Libra is my zodiac sign! I'd be fine with one x one or a small group. I know things are a lot easier to keep up with when there's just 2 people though.

Would this be a modern fantasy? It kind of seems like it, but I just wanted things crystal clear.

I was thinking since each of the signs have an element of air, water, fire or earth; perhaps we could incorporate the story as well?

As of now, it's super rough. >.<
But I was thinking that we could do a Borderlands RP and it would be between the games 1 & 2 with the events leading up to 2.

One of us has been taken from our home planet (probably a planet controlled by Hyperion) and taken to Pandora to be genetically modified with slag, then with no recollection of who we are, we are let loose among Pandora.

And at that point we come across the Vault Hunters (both groups) and deal with the Atlas Corp. fallout and with the Hyperion rise to power. And then we could interject ourselves in the Borderlands 2 changing the story just a little (maybe we save Roland, maybe Handsome Jack lives and escapes during the fight with the Warrior) that sort of change and then we can go from there. :)

Or maybe we could something with the Eridians, since no one really knows about them, cool idea, but not the main one, and not something I've fleshed out at all. XD

Wow, that sounds pretty neat! I love the idea of pulling some poor individual from their home and exposing them to slag. I can only imagine the rage and fear one might experience from such a thing. Then to be left to wander Pandora all alone? Thank goodness he/she happens across a Vault Hunter (or the entire group).

The whole idea seems fun. Though I will warn you I'm much stronger with my BL2 know-how. I haven't played BL since... god, it came out. Playing online games is so much harder in BL (at least on Steam it is). But I do like the idea of saving Roland (maybe Bloodwing too?!). And if Handsome Jack lives, will he take the Warrior with him? Or shall the Warrior die a very long, tedious death.

So are you thinking we play all the VH plus original characters? Or do we just need to play an OC and maybe two VH? As far as the VH go, I'm familiar with Zer0 (lvl 72). Currently working on Maya (lvl 7) and want to start Axton. From BL, I played as Lilith and Mordicai, but that was a few years ago so I'm a tad rusty with them. ^^;

Xavirne; I'm glad you like my plot idea! :D Super glad actually; didn't really have a back-up plan...

I totally understand. I played Mordy and Lilith also (could honestly not bring myself to play Brick, didn't hate him, just.... Wasn't interested.) But yah, haven't played BL in FOREVER. D: So I'm also more acquainted with BL2. :3

I had a thought that we would each play our OC and then play maybe 2 VH's and add the others in if needed to move the story along.

I'm a little sad that you're not familiar with Axton because I have a huggggge crush on the gloryhog. XD It's like [drool] EVERYTIME I SEE HIM. It's super ridiculous. [gonk] BUT I CAN'T HELP MYSELF. [heart]

Just so you know though; I tend to use characters from Biblical lore when it comes to my Demon and Angel stuff. I don't know if you're really comfortable with that.

Libra; Well since you added in the element bit (super idea, btw) I thought that since I've read everywhere that the element for Sagittarius is fire, I thought it would be cool if I could summon a bow made of fire. :D A crossbow would even be super awesome. :O

Sweet! Mine is air... I could!... Oh, I don't have an idea yet, but I will think of one :D

So will we travel to a different universe? Or will this stuff take place on Earth?

I also read that Gemini is an extrovert sign (ha!) Boy, that's gonna be interesting to play. This will be fun!

Ha, glad we're on the same page then! I just... Brick was... yeah. >.< It's kind of like how I feel about Salvador. Just not... my type? I mean, he's super useful but he's just not... doing it for me. ^^;

Oh snap! Two OCs and four VHs? That sounds awesome. Have your a preference on the VH you play? I can certainly play Axton. Even though I don't play him, I've played with him a lot. Shouldn't be too hard to get in character. I read his profile page and so far he sounds like your stereotypical military man gone crazy because of insane, psycho wife kinda guy. I think he just needs a hug and he'll be a-okay. ;)

You know, I beat he would be fun. It's just... Zer0. Yeah, something about his character that I love. Perhaps it's because he's all ninja-ninja. And he makes Yu-Gi-Oh! references.

Psh, you mean she left him because he was sexier than her. ;) They were clearly in a competition over who was hotter and she get mad and rage quit their relationship. B|

And yes, I can play Axton. If it's okay with you, I would also like to play as Zer0. As far as my OC goes, I haven't figured out what gender I want just yet. What type of chicky are you thinking of making? Will she be the serious type? The shy type? Loud and obnoxious? I don't want too many similar personalities. Originally, I was thinking of making a boisterous babe (like a Tiny Tina/Moxxi mix). But a part of me is also feeling a loud, useless, and cheeky guy (Clap-Trap only human, essentially).

Lol, I was thinking sort of shy. Because she knows she's different, and she sees everyone else as normal, and she isn't.

She's also sort of quiet because she's trying to figure out who she is because she's lost all memories (due to the Slag experimentation) and she suffers from nightmares about the Slag experiments but doesn't know how to put her thoughts into words.

But during battle she takes lots of risks, and tries to do something new, at the cost of her health (since she doesn't know the limits of her powers and whatnot ) [which could also lead into a near death scenario- which could lead to a "I love you why are you leaving me?" Scene with Axton ] [I'm so terrible with my obsession] [heart]

So basically no memory + PTSD + Risk taker + semi-suicidal = Me. LOL.

Yeah, play Zero. :D I don't think I'd be good at talking in Haikus anyways (though I do like writing poetry)

Oh my god, she sounds awesome! I can totally see Axton falling for her, especially with that near death experience. Shall my character (leaning toward the loud mouthed girl) also be a slagged experiment? Or do we want her to be some random person that happens to join the team?

XD I was thinking of just making Zer0 silent. A near mute! But maybe I'll steal his character design and give it to my loud-mouthed girl. I'm still trying to work my OC out. Thus far, Axton is the only one I know I'm playing.

Also, out of curiosity, how in character do you want me to be? 100%? Or is it okay that he starts off true to character but slowly morphs as our story progresses?
