It might help to do a memory book for him, find a couple of pictures of them together and have him write down a couple of memories of games they used to play or if they went on a day out together like on a school trip.

llonka 06-08-2014 04:10 PM

We don't have many pictures, maybe from when they on a football team together, but that's it. Ugh this is tough.

Sorry to bring the mood down guys.

HIM_ROCK 06-08-2014 04:12 PM

It's a tough possition to be in not only for you but also for the other childs parents.

And you know what they say a problem shared is a problem halved.

llonka 06-08-2014 04:16 PM

Thanks for listening HIMMIE. [hug]

HIM_ROCK 06-08-2014 04:17 PM

That's alright llonka

Citrus Hammer 06-08-2014 07:49 PM

Him is best advice giver [yes]

With the birthday party thing...I think they're just doing that for the daughter's sake, tbh.

steelmagghia 06-08-2014 08:05 PM

hummy 06-08-2014 08:17 PM

llonka: maybe take him to the library and look for some books and explain this kind of thing so he knows how to deal with it and just love him and talk to him about it its very very sad hugs tight

Amane 06-08-2014 08:20 PM

Make those arts OBEY! [illgetu]

SQUIRRELIE'S HERE AGAIN! [hug]

steelmagghia 06-08-2014 08:29 PM

I am teeeeerrible at drawing men! [gonk]

Amane 06-08-2014 08:32 PM

IS HE AN OC? If so, if he's nice, channel his kind personality and make him turn out decent for you! If he's mean… that's probably part of why you're terrible at drawing him. [rofl]
/this is how my OCs work whenever I do something with them
/it's an interesting affair

HIM_ROCK 06-08-2014 08:34 PM

You start with the pee-pee then go from there

Amane 06-08-2014 08:35 PM

Or do what HIM said. Works every time. [;)][rofl]

Nephila 06-08-2014 09:06 PM

Nah, it's the eleventh doctor. I don't have any OCs. [lol]
I'm just generally bad at men. They aren't curvy and soft like women are.
Here are today's arts:

BWAHAHA. [rofl]
THAT bit I can draw. I'm dying laughing here. Hehehehe.

Amane 06-08-2014 09:21 PM

I draw both men and women equally well. Again, it depends on whom I'm drawing.

My… Rising sign is possibly Virgo!

I should draw from the shoulders down more often. Most of what I draw is just the head and shoulders~

Nephila 06-08-2014 09:24 PM

I have that same problem with drawing men.

steelmagghia 06-08-2014 09:31 PM

I think it's because, since I am a women, I'm far more familiar with how things work and what goes where on my body.

Nephila 06-08-2014 09:45 PM

Makes sense. :)

llonka 06-08-2014 10:17 PM

Hubby blearted it out earlier and was very cold hearted about it. I got more upset than Kaleb. :(

steelmagghia 06-08-2014 10:23 PM

Wow. Thanks llonkahubby. Way to be aware of a delicate situation. [stare]
Is Kaleb alright? Are you alright?

Citrus Hammer 06-08-2014 10:26 PM

What the Buck, IllonkaHubby [headdesk] TACT? DO YOU HAVE ANY?

You DO NOT treat that stuff like it's nothing, especially IN FRONT OF FRIENDS OF THE DECEASED. Even worse, A LITTLE KID!

If I was there, he would be deaf from me tearing into him and possibly on the floor.

Learn to be a man and not a douchebag.

llonka 06-08-2014 10:29 PM

Since dad was cold-hearted, Kaleb was too. I think if I had told him the way I wanted to he would have been more upset. Maybe he doesn't understand. I don't know.

Eh I'm okay now, but it still tears me up how fragile life is and you never know what can happen in the next minute, hour, day, or week. :(

steelmagghia 06-08-2014 10:38 PM

*hugs* Is your husband bothered by this and just not good at dealing with emotions, or is he just not bothered by it at all?

Amane 06-08-2014 10:40 PM

Oh, my. Even I, the one who can't take anything seriously unless it's fake, wouldn't pull that move.
