I finally beat Yunalesca late last night. It's pretty easy to do, once you know WHAT to do(have someone with Zombieproof and Deathproof-ed armor, keep everyone else alive and zombied from her second form on).

I just Aeon'd as soon as I was about to take out her second form. I had a lot of Remedy from using Rikku to steal off everything.
Hardest part for me was keeping only one person non-zombified, because she used Regen on Tidus and I refused to let that go to waste.

Damn those special unlocks. Was it really worth it?

FFX was my favorite of the series. Only thing I never did was finishing the freaking lightening bolts. WORST MINI GAME EVEEEERRRR.

Same here. I was still missing 4 of the celestial weapons, but I was at the point where I did 99999 damage without them. 400 hours in that game. Apparently there's a spot where lightning always strikes, so you can use that to get 200.

I know the feeling. Since... February last year, I can't watch the end of a game. Every time I try, someone interrupts me.

Oh, I knew all the tricks for it. It's right near the beginning of the second area, it strikes every three seconds or something...but it was such a pain in the ass...I mean to finally be 13 away and lose...
I never tried again after that. ALL THE WASTED TIME OF MY LIFE.

No, I never used Lulu anyway....eff you Lulu, and your impossible freaking sidequest being the one thing standing in the way from my completely finishing the game. EFF YOU.

BECAUSE SHE'S NOT THERE. That single battle caused me to need to restart the whole game once.

OH GOD, THAT BATTLE!!
The first time you play the game, when you don't know it's coming....holy crap. It hits you hard!

Too hard.
Second time I played it I made sure to grind for a few days before I fought him. And even then, it took Kimahri using Self Destruct to kill it.

I think I would grind inside the airship...ironically until Lulu would get the 'ga's and use that, and have Tidus hasting everyone.
Still though, what a horrible battle!

You can barely grind in the airship. It takes a good 5-10 minutes just to get a random encounter. And even then, it's Bombs, so if you don't do it right, you get nothing.

I don't think I ever found grinding in the airship to be that difficult. I think I just hated that battle because it forced me to use the player I didn't really care for. xD

Strange. I could never even get an encounter. I tried for so long and ended up restarting the whole game because of it.

Really? That's weird...I think there were a couple of areas that they didn't show up, maybe your were in one of them? I never had trouble.

*sigh* I'm gonna need a guide for this stuff. I only just got my second Jecht Sphere.

I'm pretty sure a lot of them actually pop up after you've completed most of the game?

I'm pretty sure they do as well. But there's a whole world to search, and some of it is hidden behind Dark Aeons, so I'm gonna take a wait on that.
