Hello DJ. :D

I feel like there could be an easy horror story behind your avatar.

D.J. Dead 07-07-2014 07:06 AM

Hey Nephilia! How are you?
[ninja].....Maybe

Nephila 07-07-2014 07:10 AM

Not bad...but my bf is looking at me like I should be going to bed soon.

Amane 07-07-2014 07:13 AM

Aw, it's DJ when I have to go to bed!

D.J. Dead 07-07-2014 07:15 AM

I think we all are about to go to bed then XD it's good that he cares though :)

*squishes Amane* Don't worry I will be around a bit more once my father leaves

Wonderlands 07-07-2014 09:06 AM

*heavily breathes*
Sleep is for the weak.

---------- Post added 07-07-2014 at 07:06 PM ----------

heavily breathes or breathes heavily?
hm

Dystopia 07-07-2014 09:45 AM

I'd say "breathes heavily" comes more natural.

Wonderlands 07-07-2014 09:50 AM

It seems like it should but it just did not happen, haha.

Dystopia 07-07-2014 09:58 AM

rofl. Well, words are weird.

Wonderlands 07-07-2014 10:04 AM

what is english?

Dystopia 07-07-2014 10:15 AM

The mugger language. D:

Citrus Hammer 07-07-2014 10:31 AM

The backwards language

VeraDark 07-07-2014 11:14 AM

English is a language made of words from Rome, Greece, France, Germany, and pretty much everywhere else, which only English people can speak properly.

It sounds something like this:

Oy, jolly wot, gerroff, ya wanka! Manchester United! Bangersnmash!

*was almost an English major, knows these things*

hummy 07-07-2014 12:38 PM

T

VeraDark us a busy little poster =3

LiviInLove 07-07-2014 12:52 PM

Vera: [rofl] That made me just bust up laughing!! [heart]

VeraDark 07-07-2014 01:09 PM

Oi, imma nip off and 'ave a pint, and then mebbe summat uh that tea, and then imma toss about like a silly sausage in the loo, me bum wrapped in bog roll, just for a larf!

Manchester United!

Ya tossas!

Oh, hello, hummy, how are you this fine morning? Care for a spot of tea? I made biscuits!
@ Livi: LOL

LiviInLove 07-07-2014 01:14 PM

I got a weird look from my hubs - who's getting ready for work. [lol]

I get weird looks from a lot of people's husbands... I'm used to it.

You can tell him the crazy English girl was acting all Britty, and maybe he'll understand.

Sleepy Anarchy 07-07-2014 01:40 PM

I think it's trying to communicate with us...

Haha, I did - and his response "Oh, dear! Another one?" [lol] He's married to one (although lately I act more American than British. xD)

I knew there was a reson we got on well!

I'm really only halfsies, my dad's over there still, but I was born in Murrica... I still mess up my spelling and everything, but I'm sort of able to be one or the other at different times now...

Except for this horrid, constant craving for chocolate-orange Aero bars, which seem to have lately become extinct.

Mint is okay, but I like the orange ones! [gonk]

And Sleepy, it's not communicating with anyone, it's shouting "Manchester United! Ya tossas!"

There is a difference...

I was born in the States as well - but most of my summers growing up were spent over there with my mum's family. :) For me it's my mum is from over there, dad's from here. I've got one confused accent - dad from the south, mum from england, and then throw a bit of a California accent in there as well.. haha! Yeah, it leads to people not being able to figure out where I'm from most of the time. My American side has been showing more often than naught lately.

I hate that when things that you love just disappear from the shops and it drives you mental trying to figure out why they're gone, because it's always the good ones that go away! :/ Not fair!! [gonk]

And yes, there is most definitely a difference.

Sleepy Anarchy 07-07-2014 01:56 PM

I assume that's the english equivalent of a collingwood supporter.

VeraDark 07-07-2014 02:00 PM

There are many forms of athletic supporters, and they are all jocks, so yes.

And as far as accents being weird goes, I've finally found a solution to it: Tell them you're European. Nobody will know better, and if they ask which part of Europe, tell them you simply don't know, because you speak Eengleesh now and there's no word een Eengleesh for it..

It works for me, and only once have I had to fudge about with the whole "Eengleesh" thingy.

XD

*is kidding, and you should probably not actually do that*

LiviInLove 07-07-2014 02:02 PM

Oh, I rather like that idea!! I think I'll use it next time!! [yes]
What a great way to get around the whole weird confused crazed accent thing!!

[glomp]

My eldest calls me "mumma". I call myself mum, and my hubby calls me mama, or mommy, and she combined the two, on her own!! [:D]
