steelmagghia 05-18-2014 04:28 AM

Awww, thank you hummy love!

LiviInLove 05-18-2014 03:07 PM

I wish I could sleep in - I miss sleep. [yes]

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 03:13 PM

Poor Livi. *hugs*
One of the many reasons I think I wouldn't be good at the parenting thing is that I'm totally worthless on less than six continuous hours of sleep.

Lexadis 05-18-2014 03:15 PM

Babies [squee]
I'm not planning to have one anytime soon though [XD]

LiviInLove 05-18-2014 03:16 PM

I can function, kinda, on no sleep. But lately I feel like I'm hitting a brick wall. I've gotten a bunch of bottles ready in the fridge for Alex and told him that today I'm stepping back for a few hours because I need to just take a break - and I've pretty much almost just barricaded myself in our room. I'm on for a few, and then I'm really going to attempt to sleep. [yes]

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 03:39 PM

Lexadis, you are adorable!

Livi: That really sounds like something you need to do. Brains need sleep. *hugs*

Lexadis 05-18-2014 03:42 PM

Brains that take care of babies all the time especially need sleep! Sleep tight [hug]
Now that mags mentioned adorable, I don't think I'm dressed for a.. Baby party [ninja]

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 03:46 PM

Hehe, it's totally okay Lexa. :D

I am so not motivated this morning at all.

Lexadis 05-18-2014 03:59 PM

Morning? Is it the 18th or 19th morning? [eager]
Why no motivation? [:?]

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 04:04 PM

It is the morning of the 18th for me. At 11:16am. So only barely morning, but I'm still really not awake. I stayed up too late last night, so I'm tired, and these last few weeks of school are like a marathon for me because of all of the tutoring my students suddenly need. Plus I picked up ANOTHER students that needs as many hours as possible.
Also, people are whining in the art auction and it makes me cranky.

Lexadis 05-18-2014 04:11 PM

Oh 2 hours and it's 19th for me!
:O high school is tiring [yes] well according to you I guess I'm a high school student too, though we don't really have 'high school' XD are you going to make teaching your permanent career?
What art auction? D:

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 04:17 PM

Hooray for time zones! \o/

Yeah, very few other countries have a "high school" system. But anyone under 18 is basically considered high school for me.
And yes, I'm working to become a permanent teacher rather than a substitute teacher and a tutor.

We're holding an art auction to fund the User Run Event. It goes for another day and a half. If you want to take a look on it, you can click on the picture in the top right part of my signature that says "want to bid on me"? I'm both running the auction and providing an art spot for it.

Lexadis 05-18-2014 04:34 PM

I'm crazy about time zones [sweat] and making people go to bed [XD]

I'm high school then :D Oh that's great! Should you work as a tutor before becoming a permanent teacher?

Took a look, and [shock] wow [insane] Loads of good artists [love]

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 04:38 PM

Hehe, you're adorable.
It's not at all necessary to tutor before becoming a teacher. I've been tutoring since I was fourteen or fifteen years old. It's a good way to get extra money and keep up with all of the subjects at the same time. Plus, I've always enjoyed doing it (except when I feel unmotivated and just want to sleep all day [lol]).
That being said, tutoring and substitute teaching are both good ways of seeing whether or not you enjoy the teaching process.

And thanks, we're really excited about our artists.

LiviInLove 05-18-2014 04:43 PM

[headdesk] Sleep isn't cooperating - I did get like a 30 minute nap in, but that's not enough. *whine - whimper - grumble* [zzz]

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 04:44 PM

Poor Livi. Is your body in that "too tired to even sleep" mode? I hate that.

LiviInLove 05-18-2014 04:46 PM

Mmmhmmm! I hate it too. At this rate I may need to dig out my sleep aids, which I hate taking, but I really do need sleep. If I do that, I need to tell Alex I am taking them, because they'll knock me out for quite awhile. [sweat]

Lexadis 05-18-2014 04:53 PM

Sleep aids! They might be just the thing you need to give your body some rest [hug]

LiviInLove 05-18-2014 04:54 PM

Yeah, I just hate taking them. :/ They make me feel all groggy... They're all natural, but I still wake up feeling groggy, and it's not a feeling like, but at this rate, it may be the only choice left. [yes]

steelmagghia 05-18-2014 04:56 PM

You gotta do what you gotta do. *hugs*

LiviInLove 05-18-2014 04:57 PM

Yeah - now to just go and see if I can remember where I put them and then let Alex know, and maybe pump a bit more before I do so that we have enough for Sophia, as I don't want to be breast feeding her if I take the sleep aids, just how I am. Anywhos, yeah... now to find the energy to get up.

Lexadis 05-18-2014 04:59 PM

You can do it! [cheer] [heart]

LiviInLove 05-18-2014 05:04 PM

*runs into the brick wall preventing her from sleep one last time before getting up to get what she needs to try to sleep*

Ok, let's see if this works. [yes] If I stop responding, I'm probably asleep.

onsenmark 05-18-2014 05:10 PM

I don't think I'll ever have kids, because of financial reasons, and the fact that there's some pretty nasty stuff in my family's medical history(that I know of).

(additionally, there's that whole thing about the older you have kids, the more problems they might have, and at my age, that's a legit concern.)
