*collapses in* Ugh! Today has just been exhausting - Becca is totally in that cranky "I no feel good mumma!" phase... O.o And she fought me all the way to the doctor's office today... And going to the doctor with both girls, because everyone was busy and we couldn't find anyone to watch Sophia... Can I please just sleep now? :/

The plus side, Becca only has a mild cold and nothing worse, and she'll be fine with the usual things. [yes]

Oh jeez, that sounds incredibly tiring!
But yay for Becca being only a little sick!

Yeah it was - Alex got home, and I told him that I needed a break, and I just collapsed into bed and fell asleep for about an hour. And I'm still just exhausted! [zzz]

But yeah - I'm glad it's nothing worse! :]

Oh another plus - Sophia did end up sleeping for most of the doctor's visit, in her car seat, so that did make things slightly easier, but Becca was definitely not having a good day as the whole day, not just the visit, has been a struggle.

Awww, my poor sister. Her rabbit is starting to get some bald patches on his chin. He's four years old, and that's the upper limit for his breed age wise. I'm hoping he has a little infection rather than, say, a tumor, or problems getting nutrition because of his age.
She doesn't handle her pets' deaths as well as I do. Which is weird, because I'm almost always more attached to the animals than she is. I think I just have more acceptance of death than the average person.

I've never handled pet's deaths very well either, so I can relate. I hope that things go on for her with her bunny! [hug]

I am desperately hoping she gets pregnant before he dies. He is their first pet as a couple and if there isn't something to take his place...she's gonna have a hard time.
I think I'm going to have a harder time than normal when Maddie dies. I'm already dreading it and she's only eight. She's got at least five more years left. But she's essentially my child. As terrible as it is, I don't dread Fizz dying as much. I'll be sad, but she's more my dog than my child. Maddie is my child.

Hopefully things work out for her with getting pregnant then! *fingers crossed*

How's your day been?

Other than Becca's whining about her not feeling good, it's been pretty low key here. :)

My day has been a weird mix of frustrating and awesome. I started my professional development training thing. It's really irritating. It references things that are no longer accurate, it tells me that it's supposed to only take 3-4 hours but it took my four hours to get through the FIRST HALF, and it asks me questions at the very end rather than right after presenting me the material. And it's INSANE amounts of information. Sorry, I don't have that kind of concentration.

But I took a break and made the most damn delicious dinner ever. So that was awesome.

That does sound extremely frustrating! *hugs* Sometimes people need to learn to format things better and make them easier to get through! [yes]

YES! And the stupid thing is that it's professional development for teachers...and it's taught terribly. [rofl]
Oh well. I'm halfway through. I'll finish it up and be all done and not have to worry about it.

Shopping with kids takes like three times as long. Hmmm, I wonder if I can convince Alex to stay home with the girls and I'll go shopping by myself tomorrow! Is it sad that that excites me? xD LOL.

Hahahaha, nope. That sounds like it would be exciting. Getting out of the house all on your own! You don't get to do that much these days.

That is true. It's rare that I get to go out by myself (and get time to myself). I just asked Alex and he said that if I want to do that tomorrow, he's fine by himself here with the girls. And to take my time. Soooo maybe I'll treat myself to something special, like lunch out by myself or something. Make it an afternoon out. Although I probably shouldn't stay out too long, depends. [lol] We'll see how this goes.

One can tell that my life has been kid filled, and I've not been getting enough alone time when I'm excited to go to the store to shop alone. [rofl] Highly amusing my life can be at times, it feels like.

Haha, I would totally be the same way. It gets tiring not having any time on your own.

It really does! I'm just glad that Alex feels comfortable enough on his own for a few hours at least with both girls - otherwise this wouldn't be possible. [yes] He's a wonderful man - although we do have our differences, that come into play often - both of us are very stubborn people. [lol] :P

Haha, oh stubbornness can be a problem. But I think you guys work really well together.

Oh, we do - despite the head butting every now and then. [yes]
He has learned that when the accent gets super hard to understand, it's better to leave me be and come back later.
It's taken him years to figure it out, but hey, he's getting there.
His training is going well. ;)

But shush, we're not telling him that. Haha! (One of my friends also got him to admit that he not so secretly loves my accent, so sometimes I feel that he frustrates me on purpose so it comes out more. xDD)

I'm happy that I have him too - he's just good for being there when I just need someone to be there, no questions asked. :]

I just have days where I really do wish that Oliver could have met them, I really do feel like they would have gotten along really well. [yes]
