Yeah, my first job was in downtown Atlanta. We did have an elevator... but most people don't work in tall buildings like that, do they? Most retail stores only have one or maybe two levels, and the factories I've been in were generally one level...

My school is only 3 levels high, but it has an elevator. Because even only one story up is generally too much for many disabled people.

It was actually one of the first things I thought of, but I'm still pretty skeptical. Maybe it's because I only use elevators in hotels most of the time.

Maybe escalators? I've mostly just seen those in malls, though, and maybe the odd hotel when I was a kid going to sci-fi conventions.

I guess it's thinking about places like Chicago or Manhatten. Where people have the big buildings they work in. My job is on the first floor, but working in a hospital I go up and down the elevator a lot.

They sy I'll get a job but how can I if they wont help me finish any application because I need a resume.. wich theey refuse to help me on... and its just like I wanna cry...
