Every day is an adventure under clear skies and bright sun, and every night holds a lush oasis to rest the weary travelers. Strange creatures and stranger people travel with the caravan, and each of them has a story. In these pages their stories will unfold...[/]

Scheherazad looked up from the parchment, nibbling the end of her quill as she scanned the nightly camp for her first subject. They were a motley group to be sure, dressed in the costumes of a hundred nations both real and imagined, each gaily going about their own tasks. The tents set up around the oasis were as varied as the owners, some beautifully dyed and elegant while others were so patched and tattered that they might as well not even be there. Some travelers had vardos or some other type of covered wagon to save the trouble of pitching a tent. It was bewildering and fascinating all at once.

Scher sighed and pushed a stray lock of hair back behind her ear. It was frustrating being surrounded by so many stories and not knowing where to start. Perhaps it would be best to stop and have a bite to eat before trying to write things down. She wandered to the feasting tent where magic kept the tables always full, and had just reached the door when newcomers began to arrive at the oasis. Excitedly, she grabbed a handful of candied dates to stave off hunger, and hurried out to meet the new people.

Welcome, all, to the Desert Winds Caravan. We are bound for Menewsha, will you join us?"

Reason for Joining Caravan: fun to tag along to make money off of strangers. . . i mean, its good to have a psychic along.

Dami stepped out of her wagon with tired eyes. She rubbed them furiously to get her day of sleep out of her eyes. She often chose to sleep through the day, instead of riding with the others threw the day. It did leave her a nice cool time to do her magic though, so it pleased her to be lazy as such. She stepped down on the sand feeling pleasantly awake now that she was in the cool air.

Scherezade was just brushing back out of the feasting tent. The storyteller that had joined their band pleased her. She was an amusing character with some fantastic storytelling skills. Perhaps she had a story for the night?

"Evening Scherezade. Beautiful evening tonight, wouldn't you agree? " Feeling her excitement, Dami turned to see the cause. "Ah, new folk. Shall we go greet them?" Her eyes twinkled in amusement.
