PC Gamers UNITE! Ok you console gamers are welcome too :)
Man! It's been forever since I started a new thread! >.<
Anyways! SO! PC gamers! That's who I am! Don't let that fool you though, I have an xbox and a 360 along with an NES and an SNES (for when I'm feeling old school!) But mostly I stick with my PC [yes] I like to use Steam to purchase and organize all my games! (and I was shocked to discover that I have over 100 titles that belong to me O.O... I've been gaming for a long time...) But more to the point, Are you a PC gamer? or a console gamer? What's your favorite game? What do you play when you're feeling nostalgic? Give us some info! Just to be clear, I don't discriminate (and neither should you). I'll be your friend no matter if you like PC gaming, console gaming or both! (or whatever else you might like to play!) ... Ok.. that's all... LET'S DO THIS!!! LEEEEROOOOYYY JENKIIINNNSSSSS!! ... Now I'm hungry for chicken... [stare] |
I think right now, I'm leaning more towards the PC side of the equation, since I'm usually web surfing, etc. a lot anyway.
At the moment, Ragnarok Online II tends to grab my attention a lot. [sweat] |
PC Master Race reporting in.
Favorite game really depends. There's alot of games that I like that I love to play. |
YAY PC gamers! I started out as a console player and when I met my boyfriend, that shifted to PC. I'm a fantasy/rpg person, who evidently is drawn to MMOs.
PC wise I'm playing Elder Scrolls Online. Not on PC I'm playing Disney Magical World on 3DS. |

As for my favorite game? Hmmm... I don't really have a favorite game, sorry. Well... maybe I do.. I'll have to think on it before I can tell you so give me some time. What do I play when feeling nostalgic? LEGO games! Wait.. I think LEGO games are my favorite lol More info? Okay well I have a ps3, xbox 360 and a wii and a PC ... :3 I hope to get a wii u, ps4 and xbox one some day. |
I'm mainly a console gamer but I do play some PC games from time to time.
The only problem with PC is not the games but the players. They do whatever it takes to state that PC is superior in every way and try to convert me completely when to me it's just a matter of preference. Every type of platform has pros and cons and we should respect that. |
WHOA!! I'm busy for 1 day and all this happens >.< *goes back to read all the posts*

That's ok! That just means all the games your play are your favorites right? ;P LEGO GAMES!! HA! YES! [XD] I love LEGO games :P I played the very first LEGO starwars game that came out on the first XBOX and then the one with the first 3 episodes on it [yes] I always get a little confused when I play the newer "Complete Saga" versions cause some of the stuff is different in that version. Nice! I really want to get a PS4 and a wii U one of these days [yes] I feel like I miss out on a lot of good games ever since I stopped getting a playstations after the first one [sweat] Quote:
I do get upset though when game manufactures decide to drop a franchise on the PC and only continue it on consoles (like Gears of War >.<) By the time I got an Xbox and finally got to play 2 and 3, the newest one was already out O.O... ---------- Post added 05-04-2014 at 05:03 PM ---------- *BURIES EVERYONE UNDER A WALL OF TEXT* ... [twisted] MUAHAHAH!!! ... I mean! ... oops? [stare] |
I'd totally start a Mene guild on RO II or some other game if I could find enough Menewshans who also played that particular game... [XD]

Favorite game? Oh god. I'm going to have to say... BORDERLANDS 2! Clocked in over 150 hours on that baby and I've had it for less than a year. OOPS. #noregrets I also love Payday 2. Tropico is great to play, too. On the PS3, I would have to say the Final Fantasy 13 games. I love those games, ugh. So awesome. When I'm feeling nostalgic? That would be a Star Wars game (PC or console) or Time Splitters: Future Perfect (Game Cube!). Pokemon makes the list too. All of those games are from my youth and I love them all. |
i used to only use my DS, but then i discovered the magical world of steam!
...except i dont really use that either. the only games i play regularly are minecraft and binding of isaac, and then besides that... ...absolutely nothing! because who needs variety in their life? :'D though i used to play pokemon, before i had to buy a 3ds. now its just me and nintendogs. =v= |
I've always been primarily a PC gamer, although I have had various Nintento consoles and handhelds over the years. My parents both had computers from early on and my elementary school had a robust computer lap with old-old macs with Oregon Trail and other such classics, so I've been hooked for as long as I can remember.
I have vidid memories of when Myst first came out. One of my mom's friends got it and played it obsessively until he beat it. (Such a great early role model! [heart]) I just got a new computer and I'm working on reinstalling the Sims 3 and all of the expansions I have; gods, I can't wait to play. That's going to take a while to get set up though, so in the meantime I'm downloading my favorite games I've gotten from the Humble Bundles site, particularly Sword & Sworcery EP, and Bastion. Oh, and Minecraft. Can't forget Minecraft. |
Minecraft is the best indie game experience for the PC. I say this due to the extensive modding abilities to the sandbox freedom that you have.
Also, it sells lots. Lots and lots. And keeps selling. |
Modding Minecraft is almost more fun than playing Minecraft, haha. I have spent so many hours seeking out just the right combo of mods and texture packs. I put together a custom texture pack that I loved, but sadly, it's trapped on my dead computer. >_< Hopefully I'll be able to extract my data, otherwise I am going to be a sad sad panda.

[shock] hah Naw My friend and I play BF4 every so often (him more than me) and he has like 170 hours logged on it already and he's only had it since october of last year >.< CRAZY... I have like 59 hours XD As for BL2, I only have 29 hours annnd... I still haven't finished it [oops] But it's on my to play list for summer! [yes] What's Tropico like? And again jealous XD One of these days I'll play me some final fantasy! star wars like Knights of the Old Republic?? [:O] That's one of my favorite RPGs ever [yes] ---------- Post added 05-08-2014 at 11:20 PM ---------- Quote:
Minecraft... [drool] I love minecraft [heart] I think I've heard of that other one but it's been a while and I forget what it's about >.< Lol! Well... apparently I do! I have way to many games in my Steam games list that I have yet to finish (or install for that matter ... [stare]) Ooo Did you see that Yoshi 3DS XL??? I want one sooo bad!! [gonk] I have a red 3DS at the moment that I play on [yes] I want to get pokemon X or Y (I have no one to trade with [cry] so I can't decide) and that will be my first ever pokemon game! [:P] ---------- Post added 05-08-2014 at 11:24 PM ---------- Quote:
And Myst! Ah man... you are tugging at my nostalgia stings! That was really from my brothers time as he played while I watched but it's still brings back memories :P My brother never beat it though XD Hah! Sounds like a great role model! XD Did you ever play The 7th Guest? I've dabbled in the Sims but it never hooked me like other games did though it was quite a bit of fun. Minecraft! Nope! Can't forget that one!! [:P] What is this Humblr Bundles site you speak of? |
I tried to play Myst when I was a kid—I was 4 when it came out—but I just wasn't smart enough to figure it all out. I did go back and play all five Myst games as an adult though.
I've never played The 7th Guest, what is it about? And man oh man, you are in for a treat with the Humble Bundles. Go check them out here. Basically, they offer a set of games bundled together, and you pay whatever price you feel like paying. You can pay as little as $1, or normal retail price, or more. What's great about it is that not only does the majority of the money goes directly to the game developers, but also it get indie games out to a much wider audience, and from what I can tell, they actually earn a remarkable amount of money. Oddly enough, gamers love to support games when they know where their money goes! Shocking! [lol] Oh, and also they sometimes sell music, ebooks, and comic bundles. [eager] |
I'm a definite PC gamer! I'm not really good at most console games I've played so far xDD So far, my favorite game is The Walking Dead from TellTale Games ^w^ For nostalgia, I'd play either the original Sims or The Sims 2. (the original Sims game really scared me when I was little because of the sounds that played and sometimes they would play for no reason on my game so I would get freaked out XDD)

I also share your love for Time Splitters: Future Perfect, although I favour the PS2 version. Unsurprisingly then I am a console gamer. I lean much more strongly towards RPGs. Favourite series include Final Fantasy, Tales, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout. |
I grew up with console games, so PC games are really hard for me. Games like The Sims and Civilizations I can do just fine, but when it's a game where you're actively moving one character around... I'm just balls. The controls don't come naturally to me and I'm not very good at aiming the camera with the mouse. I've been playing the Batman Arkham games, but it's pathetic to watch. [lol] I'm always hitting the wrong keys or messing up because I had to look at the keyboard during a crucial moment. I'm trying to improve, but the controls are just so hard for me! [cry]

Xbox master race!!!
Nah just kidding it sucks [cry] I wish I had a good pc so I could play Skyrim with mods. I love Skyrim, and pc skyrim gets like infinite bonuses add on levels and texture mods and monsters, weapons, quest, everything! Even shall I say, more exotic types of mods? [heart] I'm envious of anyone here who has a good pc you guys have it made[drool] |

Okay yeah, I'm not great at console games either. [lol] But at least I can manage the controlls. Skills is something completely different. [ninja]
