Beyond this, I am not sure. Have you seen Firefly series or the movie Serenity?

I haven't seen firefly but I have seen Serenity

Firefly was the TV series and the movie Serenity wrapped it up. I was thinking about how the outer regions and planets were kinda primitive in that they lacked a lot of fancy technology but had somewhat a resemblance to civilized society. Rough. Competitive. Small communities that band or fight together to stay safe against raiders and trouble makers and perhaps other competing communities? Maybe a company that used to have a large complex but went broke had an "experiment"... my character... she was a mercenary who had been hired to guard the facility and they secretly infected her with some sort of nano virus that made her a super soldier. Not just her but others as well. They went into a coma though when they reached a certain point in fighting where they just kinda burnt out. Once in a coma, they eventually wasted away and died. My character could be looking for a cure and has a stasis chamber in case she ever goes into a coma or she has been in one for years or whatever... brainstorming here...

That sounds like a great idea! Maybe my character has somehow found the cure and administers it to her while she is still in stasis before bringing her out of it. We could have it where my ship crashed onto the planet and I happened upon your girl by accident. Oh btw are you wanting to do a f/m or a f/f??

either... but if we do f/f... then best friends, not romance ;)

That's fine with me. I've never done a f/f pairing myself so I'm not sure how good I would be at it, but best friends I can do.

That is very true. Ok what direction do you think we should have the story go? We could give them time for the girl to wake up OR have someone chasing them.

We could do a prologue... a couple posts each introducing our characters and the circumstances.

I was thinking of having her in the chamber just 20 years (or less) or something...

Then jump to present day and from there see what happens... have her waken up...??
