"Pllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaa aaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeee" She said rubbing her cheek against his.

"That's my girl" he grinned and picked her up, carrying her off.

They got her some meds and after a couple jugs of water and some toast went to talk to Charles.

Charles was still in his room, actually only coming out of it himself.

Ciara knocked on the door, "Professor? I brought some tea." Hank had explained how he'd passed out.

"Come in" He called, hoping it was Earl Grey, hot. Xavier pulled himself up to be sitting in the bed, reminded once again that being paralyzed sucks.

It was of course, exactly want he wanted, mind you the temperature would be a tab bit colder than his liking.

Ciara opened the door and closed it behind herself and Hank. "So... Mutant?" She said sitting down beside his bed and handing him the tea.

"Yes" Xavier sighed, accepting the tea thought it took a little effort he tried not to show just how much that had drained him. There was so much raw power locked away in Ciara's mind, it had nearly broken him before he could get out again. "How are you feeling?" he asked first.

She nodded, "Surprised, a little shocked but Dad explained the situation... I feel alright minus being sore and randomly making water float or shoot through the dry wall in my bedroom."

"I'm not sure now was the right time" Xavier frowned a little, "but we've had our hand forced a little. I was hoping to wait another year or two, however it seems your mind is rejecting the mental walls I put in place" he took a sip of the tea before setting it aside for the moment, "come" he reached towards her, "I would like to make sure everything is alright" he had been in a rush near the end there. He had to make sure that last wall wasn't going to break too easily.

"You sure you want to go back in there? You aren't looking your best, Professor." Part of her didn't like the idea of someone poking through her mind.

Xavier sighed, "I suppose I am probably just being overly protective. I just wanted to make sure everything really is alright, but if you are feeling well then I suppose we should leave it be for now. We are going to have to get to work immediately though. You'll report for training first thing tonight, after the others are back from school. Take the time until then to rest"

"You should rest as well" Beast advised the professor, "she has a point, you've looked better."

"I will be just fine" Xavier insisted.

"Ummm... Professor? It's like... 8:30 pm." Ciara said pointing at alarm clock.

Xavier blinked at the clock, "... that's not AM?" he questioned, "oh my... tomorrow then... tomorrow..." he rubbed his head, his mind was still aching a bit from the ordeal.

"Here." Ciara handed him a small plastic cup with some pain killers in it. "We'll get you some more water and something to eat. Then I think we both need to go back to bed." She said giving him a hug, "Thank you for looking out for me Professor."

"Always" Xavier replied, returning the hug gladly.

Beast smiled a little and went off with Ciara back to the kitchen.

They got Charles some food and water and Hank tucked her into bed.

"Big Blue, are you sure it's alright if I got to school? What if I make water float?" She asked in the front hallway, Scott and the others waiting in the car.

"That is what they all live with every day" Beast told her, "what if Kurt's image inducer glitches? What if Scott's glasses get knocked off? That is why we have this place, so that if something does happen, you are surrounded by friends who know how to help." he gave her a big hug, "and you can call me anytime to" he added before offering her a little present. A brand new cell phone, just like everyone on the team got. It had a special tracer and x-men alert button installed, just for emergencies.

She smiled lightly and took a deep breath, "Ok... Thanks Daddy." She gave him a hug before running off to jump into the car. Bobby once again having to walk.

Poor Bobby. Oh well.

That day at school went by pretty well actually. Though at one point between classes Ciara was approached by the green-eyed boy she had run into previously. He slid up to the locked next to hers, "Hey there"

Ciara nearly jumped. The boy... the one that had gotten realllllly close to her face. Or maybe he'd just been concerned cause she wasn't feeling well.

"Oh... Hi there."

"Hey" he greeted with a smile, "feeling better?"

'Act cool, Ciara. Act cool. It's not every day a guy asks how you're doing'

"Yes actually. A little bit of a headache but nothing major. Victoria said you stopped by last night... to see how I was doing... Thanks. That was sweet of you." She said reorganizing the books in her locker, anything to keep from looking directly at him.

"Well it's not every day that a pretty girl runs into me" he commented, leaning back against the lockers and crossing his arms, "I'm Luke by the way."

'Pretty...he just... he's flirting. Don't panic. Don't flee down the hall at full speed.'

"Luke. I'm Ciara... Sorry you couldn't come in to the institute, security is pretty tight but that's understandable after the home invasion attempts... We had a whole group of people try to 'liberate' us... thinking we were some kind of cult. When really they couldn't come to terms with the fact that a bunch of guys were raising a little girl..." She shook her head, pulling out a learning Japanese workbook.
