Shiro Daisuke

Race: Demon [x]

Age: Appears to be 21.

Personality: Shiro has always been considered much of a hard headed type of guy who tends to follow what he thinks is always right. He never always believed that what his plans were correct but whenever he knew what trouble he would cause, as long as it didn't hurt those around him; he'd go for it all the way. Although Shiro may look like he has no fear of anything, he has many of his own that he hides deep within himself that he makes sure no one else would ever have to see. The only one who tends to know about his inner fears is Evan; his lover.

Bio: Shio being born just like all other demons within the underworld had been born to have no other choice but to immediately learn to protect himself within the world that all demons technically had to fight to survive everyday living. Shiro however, was born with an immense amount of power that even his own parents found terrifying to the point that they refused to keep their son to themselves. Rather, they had handed him to an orphanage of sorts that took in demon children and raised them up only for them to grow up and join the demon army of Satan's. However, even with that; as he trained to grow up stronger and stronger; it seemed as though his potential to become a General within the army was assured.
What no one expected was when he grew old enough to take care of himself, Shiro had left the orphanage and decided to live on his own. Of course, because he had left the orphanage without permission and his role in life was to become part of the army of Satan's; he was hunted down nearly his entire life as he refused to trust anyone he ever met. This was until he had met up with; Evan Alistair. She had shown him how it was like to pretty much love another as his heart had become much more kind after meeting her. Now, the only person he will ever trust seems to be only her.

Right after Sage stopped being a demon and locked away her demonic self, she had gone to culinary school to become a chef in the human world. She had always loved cooking. That was one thing her parents found odd about her was her passion to make food. They knew she had good inside of her. They weren't even sure how when she was born a full fledged demon. Born and trained to protect the source of all evil beside her twin sister.

In the underworld, Sage always managed to read cook books whenever she could. She even started to learn to cook herself human food and that was how she learned how to cook. But she had made sure no one knew about it except her sister. And her sister never told anyone. Her twin sister Steven just thought she was bizarre for a demon to want to cook. But she always thought that maybe Sage was training to understand humans in order to become a demonic healer or manipulate the humans like most demons do.

After Sage graduated from culinary school, that was when she met Shiro who she fell in love with right off the bat. She didn't know how or even why it happened but she was glad it did. People who knew of demons always said demons couldn't love. They had dark souls and a black heart to go with that and all they wanted was destruction, chaos, and strife. But the moment she met Shiro made that a lie.

Now Sage was living with him. Sage didn't use her demonic powers very much. Usually just to protect Shiro or herself in case a demon from her past showed up. But since she quit being a demon, no other demon has attacked them. At least that is what Sage thought. Sage now owned a restaurant. And her twin sister Steven always came by. She still stayed in contact with not just her sister but her other family members. They didn't agree on not using their demonic powers, they believed it was her destiny to be an evil assassin. That's what her family believed at least.

Sage had just gotten done with setting up in the restaurant. One of her employees who she promoted to manger that was also one of her good friends she had met in culinary school told her to take the rest of the day off to spend some time with Shiro. And so Sage took the time off from the restaurant like her friend instructed to. Sage was at the restaurant most days checking that everything was in order and some days she didn't get home until early morning or very late depending how busy the restaurant was.

As she finally got home, she got out of her car locking the doors to it. She knew Shiro would be home and so the door was unlocked. She opened the door, closing it behind her. "Shiro? I'm home from work. I got off earlier today." She said loud enough for him to hear. She had brought food home from the restaurant for dinner. Walking over to the kitchen table she set it down.

"I also brought home food from the restaurant we can have for dinner tonight." She said in a cheerful tone.

She had no idea that another demon had been keeping an eye on them for some time now. Since Sage was no longer a demon, she couldn't sense her. Nor could anyone who did keep their demon selves surfaced. This demon was a lower level demon, but a smart one at that. She could camouflage herself from anyone seeing her. She was keeping an eye on Sage and Shiro because she had direct orders from her boss to do so. As well as try to break the two up. But only when her boss gave her the signal to do so would she be able to continue on with her plans.

Throughout Shiro's whole life, he was always expected by himself to keep himself safe from harms way since his parents had abandoned him around the time he was born. This was due to the fact that not only his family but many other demons that have crossed his path have noticed the immense power that Shiro held deep within himself; of course, Shiro hadn't known about this power since other than the orphanage training him to join the demon army, he was never told about his hidden power. Even though he wasn't told about this power he held, it wasn't like he really cared too much about it; he wanted to do nothing with joining the demon army and ever even thinking of joining some war between Hell and Heaven or even the thought of invading the mortal world. Shiro had preferred to stay completely out of all of the violence that the underworld wanted and just learn to live his life like a peaceful demon in the world of the living. Of course, that wasn't as easy as he had hoped it would be; never really visiting the human world before, Shiro was unaware that humans weren't such great fans of seeing a demon walk along with them down the same sidewalk as them. The first time he had tried this, he was severely harmed due to a priest coming up to him and reading from some sort of book along with splashing some sort of water all over Shiro.

Learning after that day that humans weren't big fans of demons, it hadn't taken Shiro too long to learn how to change his form to allow himself to take the shape and look of an ordinary human. Sure, it wasn't as comfortable at first to be wearing a disguise and have to lie about who he was but as well as having to get used to human culture around him, but after several years of learning; he had finally gotten used to his life as trying to be a human. Almost to the point that he had nearly forgotten that he was a demon and not a human; as he lived his life, Shiro soon found himself going to apply for a college as he began to major himself in multiple different forms of art. For a demon, everything that was taught was easily remember to Shiro compared to any ordinary human that had attended the class so learning all of his studies and graduating wasn't as difficult as to some other students within the school.

Years after graduating, Shiro had ended up getting himself a job as a painter and sculptor for many different people that needed certain things for either their businesses, special occasions or just for display. Of course, Shiro never denied anyone any kind of request they had needed as he did his job with joy to know that his works of art were being appreciated not just by himself but others as well. Shiro had made sure that his side hobby to play music always kept him busy whenever he wasn't working so it made sure that he never had himself bored in any sort of way. During his life, he had one day come across a female demon that also seemed to had been in disguise as well; Sage Alistair was her name. Shiro was able to tell that she was a demon since both of them seemed to had been quite powerful but not perfection in disguising themselves. It was nearly luck or was it faith that the two ended up together as they seemed to find each other in love.

Living his life with Sage by his side now, it seemed as though everything had truly become perfect to him. Being able to live a life as a human in disguise with another demon that he knew he could trust with his very life as well; while doing a job that he loved. The two of them being able to afford the home they had, it was pretty much perfect; nothing seemed to be able to go wrong now, or so he thought. Unaware that there was a demon that lurked deep within the darkness that watched them and was becoming enraged at the fact that Sage and Shiro were so happy together.

During the day today, Shiro had mostly been staying home the entire day since there weren't any orders for any kind of art for the day. Rather, he stayed in the den as he played his violin to his heart's content; completely unaware that Sage had been let off early for the day to spend time with him. As she had returned home and called out to him, his eyes quickly flung open as he paused in the middle of his song before placing the violin down. "Huh?..Sage?.." He asked himself in a light yet soft tone before standing up from his seat and making his way over to the kitchen. "Oh! I did hear your voice!" He called out in happiness to know that the love of his life had returned home alot earlier than normal. Making his way up to her, he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist to pick her up into a close hug as he placed her back down right after and taking a glance over at the food on the table that Sage had brought home. "Mmmm...what did you bring home sweetie?" As Shiro had asked, he had tried to take a few sniffs at the food; being curious of what she had decided to bring home from work today.

"So since you're home early today, did you want to go out tonight?" Shiro had brought up right after; since Sage had normally gotten home either really late at night or way too early in the morning, Shiro and her never really had the time to be together for a full day since he knew she needed to rest so that she would be able to actually work without dozing off. He hadn't blamed her one bit for having to work such a schedule and he trusted her with his very life, if anything were to had happened between the two of them; he wouldn't be sure what he'd do with his life after that. Once again, he was completely unaware that his worse fear was going to come to life much sooner than he had ever wished it to be.

Settling into their home, Sage could hear music from a violin. She knew it was Shiro. She always loved it when he played his violin. He was so talented. Not just by playing the violin but also with his sculpting. It always brought a smile to her face. Just as she heard Shiro's voice, she turned around turning her attention to him but before she could she was picked up into a close hug. She smiled widely and wrapped her arms around his neck giving him a light kiss on his lips before he set her down. "Oh how I've missed you." She said with a light giggle.

"Well I've been working on a new recipe to add to the menu to replace some of the recipes some of the customers aren't very fond of, so i brought home a two meat, 4 cheese lasagna and cheddar and broccoli ravioli. Everyone loves it at the restaurant. And so I thought we could have it for dinner."

Every month, Sage made a new recipe to add to the menu. Which was why she had been so busy the past couple of weeks. Although every two or three months the menu would change entirely depending on what the customers liked. If there wa a food the customers didn't like all that much, it would be changed and removed from the menu and replaced with a new recipe.

"Since it's not dinner time. You do not get a peek or a little nibble how delicious it is." She said and poked his nose. "And I have an even more delicious surprise as for dessert." She said with a smirk giving him a wink before she set the food for dinner in the oven but not turning it on just to keep the food warm.

As for the dessert, Sage had placed it in the fridge to keep it cold but fresh. And so it wouldn't melt. "Tonight? Sure! It's the first night we have had together in quite a while after all." she said with a smile. "Where were you thinking of going out tonight? Just so I know I wont over dress or even under dress if that's even possible." She giggled lightly. "It's been too long since we had time to even go out like this. I'm sorry I have been working so late love. But once the Menu is done with I should be able to spend a little more time at home instead of sleeping most of the time like when I get home."

She knew how busy Shiro was, just as she was. But she never once misunderstood it. She knew they had to make money somehow in order to survive. And since they both worked, they had a great way of income. But that meant sacrificing a lot of time to put in the hours in order to get that income. Sage was glad to have Shiro in her life. There was no one quite like him that would understand how much he meant to her and how much his loyalty as well as how understanding he was meant to her. If anyone were to happen to him she wouldn't even know what to do. She'd probably go mad with anger if something ever happened to him or their relationship in order for her to loose him.

While that went on, the young demon known as Akhila snickered in her lair while she had watched them through a globe-like object thanks to a seer she had teamed up with in order to spy on Sage and Shiro. Akhila had been watching Sage and Shiro for a couple of weeks now. Getting to know their schedule, their daily lives. And even their behavior and how they react to certain things. They almost seemed...to happy. Their love was strong, but she knew how to break them. Just like how she did with humans. When it came to love, demons were no different from how humans loved and desired for. They were all the same.

"Oh this is just perfect. They are making this much too easy!"Akhila exclaimed with a laugh.

"When are you going to strike?" The seer asked, raising an eyebrow to the demon. "I'll check in when they go out, and while they go out, I will be...moving things along. Get this..ball rolling, as those humans say up there when a plan is in order." The seer merely just nodded his head before the globe soon turned back to it's original pearl-like color. "Yes. M'lady. I shall be awaiting here then."

Soon Akhila was going to be making her move. Just as she told the seer, when Sage and shiro leave the house she would then put her plan in motion. The thought of it made a wide smirk appear on her face. She didn't care why her boss had such plans to do something so human-like, but all she really cared about was what she got as a reward. Although, her plan would not be instantly. More like gradually. Make them doubt each other and then her plan would go out with a bang. Just how she liked it.

As Sage had shared a kiss with Shiro before he had placed her back onto her feet, a warm smile had remained on his lips as he listened as to how she explained to him about how she was trying out a completely new recipe to add to the menu for her restaurant. Raising a brow as he looked at the food on the table, curious to open up the box and see what she had made for the two of them to have for tonight. As she explained what was within the box, he could feel his stomach growl at him in anticipation for taking a quick taste of what it must taste like, it was normal for him by now to hear that Sage was bringing home one new food after another home for the two of them to have. He didn't mind this one bit, even though he enjoyed pretty much every single dish Sage had ever really made and even some that he had hoped she'd make more of; he would always end up trying something different that would quench his hunger for the same food over and over again. "Mmmm..mmmh!...can't wait to try it." Shiro spoke as he had most of his attention on the box of food in front of him.

Most of the time when Shiro had worked on his art in whatever kind of form it was, he normally had gotten completely sucked into his work to the point that he nearly forgot everything around him; such as how hungry he normally was. The only thing he would ever feel as a difference was the difference in aura within the house whenever Sage would return home from work; even when he slept, and she would return home late at night. Just the feeling of the bed having another warmth on it made him feel much more at peace to know that she had returned safely.

Right as he had tried to reach out to undo the tie around the bag of food, hearing that he wasn't able to peek or even get a single sample of what the food might taste like since it wasn't dinner yet. He had only given a light chuckle as he playfully tried to bite at her finger for poking at his nose. Watching as how she placed away another box into the fridge and spoke of how it was a surprise and not even a single explanation other than her smirk and wink about the desert that was going to be for tonight. This had only caused him to be all the more curious of what the two of them were going to be having tonight as their dinner and what they would have right after for something sweet to have.

As she questioned him about where they were heading out for the night, he placed a finger at his chin to give it some thought of where the two of them could be headed out at this time of day. "How about the movies and after we just watch the sunset a bit?...nothing too fancy or big. Something just for us to relax a bit from all of our working and enjoy each other's company...after so long." Shiro explained as he simply tilted his head slightly to the side before shrugging his shoulders. He had many plans for them to head to other places for their time off of work and enjoy each other's company with lots of fun to have with one another, but after their hard work from each of their jobs; he had just felt like maybe it was better off to just enjoy the rest of the day as it slowly ended with one another. "It's not a problem dear, I know how busy you are...we haven't had a lot of time to each other in a while now. It feels like it's been forever since we've been able to just even hold each other's hands...but we have the time now, let's not waste it by feeling sorry for one another, hm?"
