"Sounds good," Tammy said as she grabbed her bag and started to walk with him towards the blue cabin. She glanced over to make sure Laura was with them.
|
Laura followed them over to the cabin, glancing around inside. Well, at least the name Blue Cabin made sense now. She snorted quietly and set her bags down.
"So, what's on the itinerary this time?" Sam asked, grinning and keeping Moose outside. |
"Same as it is every weekend," Tammy said, staying outside with Sam for an extra minute or two. "Helping out where we can." Grinning, she reached up and tugged at the collar of his shirt. "Now get down here so I can kiss you."
|
Sam snickered and leaned down, kissing her soundly and wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Sure you can't just work here?" he murmured. |
"For now," Tammy murmured back, putting her arms on his shoulders. "We'll see what happens."
|
"Mmm." Sam smiled and kissed her again leisurely.
"So, I guess you talked Laura into coming. How much bribing did you have to do?" |
"Mmmm, none," Tammy replied, returning the kiss. "She was interested enough to come willingly."
|
"Huh. I guess that's good." Sam grinned. "Well, we'll have to make sure she has a good time."
|
"Yeah," Tammy agreed. "I think she'll like it here, though."
|
"I hope so. From what you've said it sounds like she could use some vacation time." Sam was quiet for a moment. "Maybe we'll go on a trail ride later."
|
"Sounds like fun," Tammy said. She snugged close briefly. "Where's your brother, anyways? Isn't he usually back by now?"
|
"Yeah, he should be. He was feeding the farthest paddock, but he should be back any minute now." Sam shrugged, unconcerned, and pulled her closer.
|
"Okay," Tammy said, totally okay with being pulled closer.
At that point, Dean showed up. "Hey, Sammy, you done makin' out with your girl yet?" he called as he passed them. |
"Shut up, Dean," Sam called back, rolling his eyes. "Why don't you go check on your cousin and see how she's settling in. Dean and I'll go get a couple horses ready."
|
"Alright," Tammy said. She kissed Sam one more time and then squirmed a bit to be set back on her feet. He had a habit of picking her up so they could be face-to-face.
|
Sam chuckled and set her down, kissing the top of her head once before he headed off to go round Dean into helping him.
|
Tammy went into the cabin once Sam walked away.
"How's the cabin?" she asked, going over to claim the second bed. Dean turned around when he heard his brother. "About time," he said. "She's early this week, I thought we still had another hour." |
"Pretty nice, actually," Laura said, sitting on the other bed. "The bed is pretty comfy, and it's nice. We've got a fireplace." She grinned. "If nothing else I'll sleep well."
Sam shrugged. "She is normally a bit later," he agreed. "She has her cousin with her this time, I guess she was eager to get here and show her around." |
"Good," Tammy said. She grinned. "Up for a trail ride? Sam and Dean are getting the horses ready."
"Not that you're complaining," Dean said as he went to get the tack and saddles ready. "When're you gonna pop the question already?" |
"Definitely," Laura said with a grin. "That should be fun, I haven't been on a proper ride in ages."
Sam rolled his eyes. "Not yet," he said. "We haven't talked much about that at all. Although she did say she might finally come see about working here instead." |
"Awesome," Tammy said, grinning. Going over, she went into her bag for a pair of boots and long pants. She was looking forward to the trail ride, too.
"Good," Dean said. "Then you won't be pining over her all week." He smirked a bit and went to saddle his horse and one of the others, leaving Sam to handle his and Tammy's. |
Laura changed into suitable riding clothes and pulled her hair back in a ponytail.
"Ready whenever they are." Sam snorted and went to go pull out the two horses. "I don't know this girl's riding experience so don't be too mean to her, Dean." |
"Let's go see if they could use extra hands, then," Tammy said, finishing pulling on her boots.
"Relax, Sammy, I'm not going to chase her off or anything," Dean said. |
Laura let her lead the way, glancing around as they walked. It really was a nice place, and she kind of liked it.
Sam gave him a bit of a Look but finished saddling his horse and moved on to Tammy's. |
Tammy headed over to the stables, going straight for where she knew Sam's horse was. Moose was out there as well, and promptly went over to investigate the new person with Tammy.
Once Dean finished saddling his horse and the horse for the new girl, he waited for them to show up. |
