Songs where the lyrics make absolutely no sense?
 
Do you ever listen to songs and wonder, "What is this person even TRYING to say?" For example, I'm listening to Lorde's "400 Lux", and the lyrics are:

And I have to wonder, what does that even mean? What image is Lorde trying to convey?

Do you guys have any songs like this?

Yeah, in the context of the whole song, it's definitely about dating. But it might have something to do with orange juice tasting disgusting if you have just brushed your teeth? [ninja]

Haha, orange juice does taste nasty when combined with the taste of toothpaste xD There's so many songs out there when if you actually listen to what they're saying, you're like [huh]

I always thought Clarity by John Mayer was a bit strange, though the song overall has a feeling meaning. This bit though? First read it's odd.

I used to have this quote saved, but I can't find it anymore. It was something along the lines of "I woke up this morning. Took a bite out of my bed." And I think something about porn. No idea what song.

Every single song on Panic! At The Disco's album Pretty. Odd. were all confusing.
Fun songs to sing, but what the hell were they talking about?
All of the lyrics were like a jumble of words that he found lying on the street, waiting for a good home.

Revved up like a deuce is a line from 'Blinded By the Light', not 'Benny & the Jets'. The first is by Bruce Springsteen, but made most popular by the Manfred Mann Earth Band cover in the 70s; the latter is an Elton John tune.

They are both pretty nonsensical though.
