The vampire frowned as he saw Ivar shift and made a quick movement of his hand before she was taken away from him. "Don't worry boy... she'll be mine sooner then later." he smirked as he let what looked like a drop of blood drip off his nail onto his tongue with a smirk before the rest dripped into a vial that had appeared floating under his nail. "Right now though I think you should take care of her... don't want my soon to be slave dying already now do we?" he smirked before vanishing into thin air leaving Ivar with the now bleeding and gasping Silvia. In that few seconds between Ivar shifting and grabbing her the vampire had made a quick cut across her throat that he had used to obtain her blood but was now causing her some pain and trouble breathing since every time her neck moved more blood would flow down and onto her clothes and the ground.

Ivar growled at him and didn't move till he was sure that he was gone. Yet when he looked down to see her he curled and his eyes turned back to his regular blue as his body shifted back to his real form. Seeing all the blood, he had to think quickly and a second later he pulled off his shirt and ripped it up, gently and carefully, he wrapped her neck while he applied pressure to it. ONce that was done, he looked at her, "Everything is going to be okay." He said softly as he picked her up and quickly set off back towards town. He moved quickly but he made sure not to bump her around too much. It was now that he thanked the castle wasn't too far from the singing lakes but it was still too far for him. Right when he got to the castle, he took her to the hospital room and kicked the door open, "She needs help right away." He said as the elves and dwarves stared at him. Yet as he placed her down on the table they noticed the blood and instantly kicked him out to work on her. Ivar stood outside the room and paced, everything in him worrying and hating himself. He was suppose to be able to protect her and he had failed. After what seemed like forever, the door opened and one of the dwarves stepped out, "she is fine, nothing a little magic couldn't fix." He said and Ivar felt everything in him relax, "She is asleep right now, but your welcome to wait." He said but already Ivar was moving inside. Turning into a what looked like a bear and a tiger cub mixed together, eh crawled up onto the bed and curled up besides her. He wanted to stay awake and protect her but after all the stress and panic, something inside him made him fall asleep the second he laid down next to her. Chuckling, the dwarf shook his head and went about watching Silvia, making sure that the magic had worked on her and for her to wake up.

Silvia calmed a bit as she felt the bleeding slowing but ended up passing out right after Ivar picked her up. She stayed out cold for the rest of the night and ended up waking up the next morning dazed and confused. She then remembered what was going on and looked around before smiling as she saw the cute little creature laying next to her and started to pet him lovingly. Idly she wondered why that male had stolen some of her blood... and if he really knew a way for her to get back home... maybe she should tell the king what happened... maybe he would know... or Ivar.

The dwarf smiled when he saw Silvia come too and watched as she started petting him. "Glad to see your awake." He said as he came over to her, "and it looks like that wound healed nicely. When Ivar came running in, I thought you were on the verge of death or something." He said as he looked at her and smiled, "but I would like to know how you managed to get that. With how Ivar is I was surprised to see you hurt." He said as he looked at her and Ivar pursed softly as he felt Silvia petting him. "oh and before I forget, it is a pleasure to meet you goddess, I am Omar." He said as he bowed to her a little bit.

"It's nice to meet you Omar... but please, my name is Silvia and really I am no goddess." Silvia smiled softly before thinking a bit. "A vampire attacked us at the singing lakes... I don't think Ivar was expecting anyone to come after us after how much he scared the people in town to stay away from me... he was really fast... before Ivar could even react he was holding me... he got me up on a really high branch and... i guess while Ivar was shifting he cut my neck with his nail or something... now that I think about it he had mentioned something about a portal that they had left in my world..." she said thinking a bit but that seemed to confuse her. She didn't know what the male had done with her blood or anything... Ivar would have to tell them that. She was mor confused about the whole thing and what the male had said.

Omar frowned as he listened to her, stroking his beard. But when he simply shook his head as he went over to his medicines and started to go through them, "vampires are tricky beating, especially if they have your blood. Since they are masters in blood magic, I can't even begin to tell what they might do if they have some of yours. Hopefully he didn't get enough to do anything though." He said and then pulled out a vile before walking over to her, "If he comes near you again, drink this. It is water infused with some propertied that should repel vamps but only for a limited time. Hopefully Ivar is near you or around you though." He said and looked at the little ball of fur next to her, "With how he was acting, I doubt anything will stand between him and keeping you safe. You must mean a lot to him since I have never seen him act like this before." He said as Ivar continued to purr quietly.

Silvia looked at the vial before nodding and taking it with a thank you. She then blushed and smiled a little "Really? Never?" she asked curiously still petting Ivar sweetly.

Omar shook his head as he went about making some medicine, "Never." he said as he smiled t her, "since the king kept him on a short leash and always in line he never really got attached to anyone. It didn't help that shifters, even half shifters like him, have a bad reputation and few like to be close to them. So I am guessing that since you didn't judge him right away like so many others he has grown to like you a lot." He said as he smiled at her, "So in other words, take care of him since he doesn't have anyone else." He said and just as he did Ivar slowly started to wake up. Opening his eyes and seeing a awake and okay Silvia, he purred loudly before rubbing himself against her like a cat, "Glad your okay." he said as he stuck close to her, clearly happy.

Silvia was surprised at this but then just smiled at Ivar and loved on him more. "Thanks for saving me... that guy really scared me." she said softly still petting him sweetly. She wanted to nuzzle him but her neck felt a bit stiff so she knew she wouldn't be able to... so she just settled for loving on him instead.

Ivar smiled and purred as he kept close to her, "I will make sure that he doesn't get close to you again." He sad softly as he stuck close, relaxing. But his relaxation ended when the door flung open and the king was in the doorway. Seeing Ivar on the bed with her, his already angry face seemed to grow red. "Ivar, Front and Center." He called and Ivar jumped off the bed, changing in mid air. He then went and kneeled in front of the king, his hair turning to that white that matched his ears and tail. "I can not believe that you let the goddess receive a injure. I told you to keep her safe, to let no harm come to her and here you are. When I said put your life on the line, I meant it." He growled at him and Ivar just stayed kneeling. "YOu know what this means, Either you receive a punishment, give this job to someone more capable or Both." He hissed at him, "but that will be decided later, for now." He said before turning to look at Silvia, his face softening, "I am glad to see that you are recovering, Omar here is our best healer. I with I could say the same about our guard." He said as he smiled at her and Ivar didn't move from his spot kneeling next to the king.

"N-no please don't hurt or get mad at Ivar, he did all he could to protect me... that vampire was really fast and cut me when Ivar was getting me away from him... if Ivar didn't do what he did that man might have taken me away." Silvia said hoping the King wouldn't hurt Ivar or have someone else help her. "Oh! I almost forgot... are our two worlds connected somehow? Do you know? The vampire that attacked us said he could send me home... he said that they were the ones that put the portal in my world..." she asked curiously hoping he knew something about that.

The king sighed when he heard her, "I can't leave him without punishment but I will let him still guard you." he said and glared when he saw a flash of yellow on Ivars head, but it was soon gone. "HIs job is to protect you and there has to be punishment if he fails." he said softly to her so that she would understand. Yet when he heard her he sighed, "Yes, we do know that other worlds are out there, but normally we can't get there. Usually only certain types of forbidden magic is the only way to get there." he said and Omar sighed, "and example of forbidden magic would be blood. Blood magic is very dangerous not just for the user, but for those around them. Yet Vampier seem to like the magic even more because of that." he said softly, "Hopefully though they aren't trying to do something too dangerous that deals with you." Omar said and Ivar growled softly. He clearly didn't want anything to happen to Silvia and he would protect her with his life.

"But he didn't fail... he got me away from the vampire and got me here as fast as he could without letting him hurt me any worse..." Silvia said softly and looked at Ivar worriedly before looking back at the king and thought some. "Are vampires from this world?" she asked curiously since she had heard that allot of people thought vampires were real and that there used to be allot of them in her world. "Are there any that would be willing to help us figure out what's going on that you know of?" she asked softly since she was sure they couldn't all be bad.

The king sighed, "that is true, but I didn't want you harmed and you were harmed. So a small punishment is in order." he said and it was clear that he wasn't going to budge on this. Though when he heard of vampire he shook his head slowly, "we aren't to sure what world they come from, they seem to go to any world they feel like, a very troublesome race." He said and you could hear his distaste for them. Omar shook his head vigorously when he heard her, "no, no no, vampires are being that only like to help if they get something out of it for selves. A selfish race if you ask me. I know of none that would want to help you so I would not recommend that you go looking for one to help you unless your willing to give up something in return." he said as he looked at her and hoped that she would understand.

Silvia listened and nodded a bit thinking some. "From the ledgends that I've heard, vampires were born from the darkest desires in the human heart. That the first vampire killed people and then drank their blood, it corrupted his soul. He had found the fountain of youth but lost his humanity in the process... he turned others by sharing his corrupted blood with them... in my world vampires are considered fascinating and dangerous, the physical form of nightmares... but... even knowing that is there no way that we can find out what they know?" she asked softly but seemed unsure about it herself. What if they were the only one's that knew how to send her home? Shouldn't they at least try to find out what was going on?

The king nodded as he listened to her, "Vampires are very secretive creatures since they know that their knowledge is very powerful. We would have to get to know one and that isn't a possibility right now." he said as he looked at her. "Ah, you are correct on all of those points." YOu heard a voice say from the corner of the room and from the shadows came a figure. Instantly Ivar jumped between him and Silvia, growling as his hair went up in flame colors. "Oh come now beasty, it isn't like I am here for her… or at least not yet." he said and now you could see that he was a different vampire, younger. "what is the meaning of this." the king demanded but the vampire just looked at Silvia. Sticking a hand into his coat, he pull out a letter and unfolded it, "I hear by invite Silvia to make a deal with us vampires in exchange for her returning home. If you would like to agree to the terms and negotiate with us, please come to pitch black cavern in the next three days. And yes, you may bring your pet." He said before folding up the letter and holding it out to Silvia to take. Ivar growled and slowly his face was turning into that of what looked like a wolves, teeth showing and waiting for him to try something.

"Ivar please calm down." Silvia said softly as she reached out and put her hand on him softly. She then listened to the male and took the letter softly and gave a small nod of understanding. "I'll think about it." she said softly before looking at Ivar hoping he would calm a bit soon. She knew it was dangerous, but was there anything wrong with just hearing them out? She wasn't sure... she would have to talk to the king and Ivar about that.

The vampire smiled as she took it but ivar snapped at him but caught nothing. The vampire just chuckled and shook his head, "be nice, your master said to calm down." He said as he looked at Ivar before looking to the rest, "I hope to see you soon, 'goddess'" he said mockingly before drifting into the shadows and disappearing. ONce he disappeared Ivar calmed down but turned to Silvia, worry coated his face, "are you really going to think about it? It could be dangerous and depending on what the deal is you may not be going home." He said and it was clear he didn't like this, not one bit.

"That's why I wanted to talk to you two... could it hurt for me to just go and talk to them and see what they want to do? I mean if I have Ivar with me I'll be safe won't I?" Silvia asked the two curiously but wasn't sure about the time limit... she didn't want to leave right away... she just wanted to see what she had to do to be able to go back.

Ivar frowned and shook his head, "I think it is a bad idea." He stated simply and you could tell he didn't like it one bit. GOing to a place that he knew was dangerous had bad idea written all over it to him. But the king sighed, "It might be, but there is a possibility that they will give you a good deal. If you feel like it is a good risk to take to get back to your world then I say go try. If anything happens I know Ivar can protect you, I doubt he would let anything happen to you." The kind said as he looked at her and Omar nodded, "I would have to agree with the king, it might not hurt to go talk to them."

Silvia looked at Ivar hoping that he would be okay with this. "If you're okay this this as well Ivar we can go tomorrow..." she said softly hoping he wasn't too upset about it. She did hope she could stay longer but if she couldn't she did want to spend a bit more time with Ivar before she had to leave.

Ivar frowned when he heard her and instantly started to pace around. For once you could see why many feared Shifters, he moved with the grace of a predator and the scary thing was he could be any predator he wanted to be. Finally he stopped and looked at her, "okay, but I am going to put you in armor that has been soaked in anti-vampire, every inch of you." He said and you could tell he was being serious. He ddn't want her to get hurt and that was the only way he could think of that would make him feel better. "either that or your soaked in the anti-vampire, your choice." He said as he looked at her and you could hear Omar chuckling as he listened to Ivar.

Silvia seemed confused and a bit concerned as she watched him and then laughed a little. "Okay but I'm pretty sure whatever armor you guys have will be too heavy for me... remember I'm not near as strong as you guys." she said softly and felt a little bad... she didn't really have anyone but maybe a friend or two in the human world... it kinda made her feel bad... the thought that she might not be able to come back and visit them here in this world.

Ivar sighed and nodded, "then it looks like your taking a bath then because I am not going to let you near them other wise." He said as he looked at her and you could tell he was serious as his hair turned a light orange. "I am going to go get everything ready." he said as he headed out of there and Omar chuckled. "You know I have never seen Ivar panic or worry so much in my life. I can't tell if its because you ordered him to protect her or because of something else." He said as he looked at the king and he nodded, "your right, but either way he will stop acting like this soon and go back to being a solider once Silvia is gone." he said and turned to Silvia, "rest and relax while we get everything ready for you to leave." the king said before heading out of there.

Silvia smiled a bit at Ivar but seemed a bit sad and looked at the king with a bit of a frown not liking that he was so negative towards Ivar's sweet personality. She sat down on the bed quietly and looked down at the ground thinking a bit. What if she could never come back? What if she went home and found out that it wasn't where she wanted to be? What if staying there was her only chance at finding someone who really cared about her? What if she did come back and Ivar was mad at her though? Or the people in the kingdom were mad and tried to kill her? What if the king wouldn't let her stay there or help her find a place if she came back? All of these thoughts were really worrying her and she knew she needed to sort out her feelings before making a decision.
